About
You can discover all the secrets of the world of wine in Mendoza. We visit an artisanal, family and organic winery that shows us the work in the vineyard, the elaboration process, the storage and we finish with the tasting of two wines. Then we visit a modern, boutique winery, where we see the contrast between both industries, enjoy time in the vineyard, and relax by tasting two wines. Next we know an olive oil factory, we are in contact with the plantation, they detail the elaborations and finally we will test the products they produce. At the end of the afternoon we visit a liquor sweet wine cellar, a museum winery with more than 100 years of experience, reveals its secrets so that we can enjoy its valuable and traditional wines. An unforgettable afternoon surrounded by culture, nature and good wine. ATTENTION: THE WINERIES MAY BE SIMILAR TO THE LOADED DUE TO THE AVAILABILITY OF VISITS.

Great Taste of Mendoza Wine Country
Mar 2020 • Couples
We enjoyed this tour very much. The organisation for pickup and drop off was good and we got to see a bit of Mendoza city. The first winery was lovely and the guide very informative. Wine was tasty too. They harvest at night and the day after we were there (March 4) they hold a night harvest for the people. Would have been great to be there!! The second winery was a family one and the philosophy of love and family was very interesting - and the wine was good!! The olive oil place,Laur, was interesting too and the oils and balsamic were delicious. And then the sweet wine!! This was another great winery with lots of passion put into the wine. They also sold Malbec icecream which was delicious. We had four excellent tours and the guide on the bus was informative and kept us on time - started at 2 finished at 745pm. I would definitely recommend this tour if you have limited time to see Mendoza wine region.

Great if you short of time
Feb 2020 • Couples
Visited 3 wineries plus a olive oil factory. Wineries all very different. Winery staff very cordial and tastings very good. Being the only 2 English speakers we pretty much had our own private guides at each place.

Wine tour
Did exactly what it says on the tin. Comfortable minibus with pleasant guide. Short sharp visit to each place with delicious tasting. Good value for money. Unless you are a complete wine buff I would say this will be perfect for most people. You don't spend too long driving and you learn plenty about wine and oil production.

Decent winery experience, horrible communication
Dec 2019
Unfortunately you really get what you pay for with this one. The wineries themselves were okay, but definitely not great. They had wonderful stories and every tour guide was wonderful, but they were not the top notch, beautiful wineries we were expecting of the region.

The thing that was most notable about this experience was the horrible communication. We booked through Trip Advisor and received a confirmation that included a contact number on whatsapp. We were staying in a hotel room that was booked via Airbnb so it was not logged in the hotel system, so we wanted to ensure that there were no issue with our pickup (since there was an hour window for pickup and we didn't just want to wait in the lobby for an hour). The day prior to the tour and on the morning of the tour itself, I was calling and texting via whatsapp constantly to make sure they knew how to contact us upon pickup, but never received a reply. I tried to contact them over email/Trip Advisor as well but also received no reply. Apparently they had gone to pick us up in the lobby but as I had anticipated, the man at the front desk was not able to reach us since we had booked via Airbnb and he didn't have our room information. It turned into a mess that resulted in us getting picked up an hour late, and the man Lucas who picked us up had a horrible attitude and tried to blame us for the whole thing even though I told him we had been trying to contact them for a day and a half. I found out later that apparently the tour was run by a different company than who I had received the confirmation from, which is why the contact number was not correct. But I had literally no other way of contacting them, and the negative start to the experience permeated throughout the entire day.

Hello! I'm Dolores, I sended you the phone number. My apologies for the bad experience with the comunication. The first whatsapp that i've got is at 9:15 pm of 27th december, and the tour start at 2:00pm of 28th december, and we work from: 9:00 am to 1:30 pm and from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm. This text change the park hyatt to the amerian. The next call is at 2:40pm of 28th december. I undestand that somentime the expect can be diferent, but we pick up every passengers that we can in hotels in the downtown, for this reason we spend untill 45 minutes // 1 hour. I recommned you that if you don't want wait, the best option is a private tour; but if you buy a regular tour in Mendoza, you must to wait in the lobby, because the pick up is hotel by hotel, not apartment or room by room. Every comment is important for us to try to be better every day, and now we try a better communication with our passengers with this explanation. Thank you!

Pleasant whistle-stop tour
Nov 2019 • Solo
I took the half-day wine tour as it was good value and I didn't have much time the spare. It was a well-organised tour and the hotel pick-up was punctual at my time slot of 2.15pm. It took around 45 minutes to pick up all passengers at the various different pick-up points and it wasn't long before we reached our first stop: Bodega Cecchin. Here we got a chance to walk into the vineyards, see the wine production facilities and also do a wine tasting. The second stop, the olive factory Pasreis was enjoyable. We learnt about the different uses of olives. The finger food was very tasty and a good snack for the afternoon. The third stop,Vistandes, included a very informative wine tasting and a short tour of the facilities. The final stop was at Bodega Floria where we learnt about sweet wine production and sampled some delicious sweet wines. Overall, this was a very interesting tour and I appreciated the variety provided by four different stops, which meant there was no repetition. I was one of 3 English speakers on the bus and on arrival at each stop,we were separated from the majority Spanish speakers and provided with out own English language speaking host guide (we were often put together with English speakers from other tour buses arriving at the same time). Sometimes I felt the Spanish speakers got a more comprehensive tour as we typically were finished well before them. The bus tour guide,Florencia, spoke perfect English but her work mostly consisted of commentary during the bus journey and introuducing us to the host guides upon arrival at each stop. It was possible to buy wine at very cheap prices and leave it on the bus where it was safe. The tour was around the Maipu valley so there wasnt a lot of driving and most of the time was spent at the bodegas. The bus kindly dropped me at the bus station that evening for my overnight bus to Buenos Aires. Overall,I would recommend this tour. I think it would be preferable to have a whole day touring the wine region as the half-day tour felt a little rushed at times, but there are advantages with the half day wine tour too - not least that it feels natural to drink wine in the afternoon rather than the morning!

Thank you very much for your comment, is important your opinion for us and for other passengers. Your comment was very complete and thank to this more objetive. The half day tour can be rusher that the tour with lunch, but so many people come to Mendoza 2 days, and the idea is leave you half day in the morning to visit Mendoza City. About the english explanation, usually is the same, the diferent time is beacause the spanish speackers are more, and need more time to take pictures, they talk a lot, and the guides sometime spend time in comments than aren't important or aren't part of the actually information. We'll try to control these points (together with the pick up) to develop a better tour to everyone!

Half Day Wine Tour
Nov 2019
This was a good value. Prompt hotel pick-up, and then three wineries and one olive oil plant. The Cecchin Winery was the best— it is an all organic winery and the guide, Florencia, was excellent. She was very serious about teaching us about organic wine. The Vistandes Winery was good too, but not as unique. Learning about olive oil production was very interesting since that is something we don’t see in the U.S. Our tour bus guide could have been a little more involved with us in filling in details about the tour. If he had been better my score would have been a 5. Overall, a good tour to get out into the immediate Mendoza area for wine tasting.

We very much liked the tour, especially Vina el Cerno. The guide was very kind and good, he gave a lot of background information. Driver and car were good too.
