Iguazu National Park
Mar 2020
This National Park is AMAZING. The Iguazu National Park is the #1 atraction in Argentina. This is a must visit site, We started the day with the speed boat tour and of course expect to get wet as you see the diferent sides of the waterfalls from the Argentina side. Our first trail was to the Devils throat or Garganta del Diablo this view is by far the most awesome of all. Our second trail was the lower circuit were you will see 6 smaller but just as beautiful waterfalls. Wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to walk. This is nature at it's best

Iguazu Falls tour, boat ride, train and safari truck
Mar 2020
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Iguazu Falls. The guide was knowledgeable and conducted the tour in both English and Spanish. We absolutely loved the boat ride! The tour was well organized once we were inside the park area. The only negative we experienced was that they did not pick us up as scheduled (they forgot us) and they sent a driver to pick us up after we called to inquire. Otherwise it was super.

Fantastic photo opportunities
This tour (Aqua grande) was booked through our travel agent and proved to be a great day out. From the train ride to the boat ride all is well thought out. Seeing the falls from the Brazilian side the day before is a must so you are in total awe when you get to devils throat to appreciate the sheer force of the water in these falls. So many photo opportunities on the walkways which are bar one easily accessible. The boat ride is great fun and there is no way you can avoid being totally soaked. Don’t bother to use waterproof clothing.
Our guide was ok but not very interactive with the group. Basically she did her job and offered some information.

Unfortunately our boat trip and jungle jeep safari was cancelled due to low water levels. However, we did the train rides and walked the three trails all of which were very good with good access to view the falls. Our guide Laura was very good. The review rating is for the part of the trip that we covered.

Hi Djohnd, First of all, thank you for your review. I'm glad you got to experience the incredible natural wonder of Iguazu Falls by walk, but we are truly sorry to hear that your experience was not complete that day. The droughts in the Iguazu Falls are cyclical, but the one that occurred on the date you travelled is surprisingly large; have to go back 15 years to find a similar one. The lack of rainfall in the region and the closure of the dams on the Brazilian side led to a decrease in the flow of water in the falls, which caused a historical decline in this natural wonder of the world. Ans, as the navigation requires a proper level of water your boat ride of that day was cancelled. As this is a situation of a major force related to water levels, we understand it will never happen again on this trip. We are sorry, as we want all our travellers to have a lovely experience. But unfortunately, the boat ride had this inconvenient. We are sure that all this information will help us improve and find ways to let know the travellers in advance situations related to water levels. Until then, please accept our sincerest apologies on behalf of everyone on the team. Best regards, Luna

Like being with family you like!
Feb 2020
Participated in the Argentinian side only, but a most excellent day of viewing the falls. The value for this day long adventure is spot on. Picked up from your stay, including mine which I thought was out of the way being in Foz de Iguacu on the Brazilian side. Our guide Miguel (Michael) was incredibly pleasant and knowledgeable. The greatest compliment I can pay him, was his attention to his "family" - the participants of the tour. Everyone is accounted for, which is not easy in a very bustling tourist attraction. I for one, was separated from my group, and Miguel gave word to another guide in the park to look out for me and sent me in the right direction. As other writers have acknowledged, the train is purely transportation, the jeep read is narrated and interesting. But definitely the highlights are the walking bridges with views and the boat tour. Prepare to be wet, even at the view of Devils throat, as it is very misty. You will be exposed to sun on a clear day, so be prepared with water and SPF. There are bathrooms positioned along the journey, as well as opportunities to buy water or food. I recommend this tour for the response time after booking, the level of customer service, the conveniences and certainly the hospitality of mi amigo, Miguel.

Fantastic view and exciting ride
Jan 2020 • Couples
The tour started the morning with visit of “ death throat” by taking the small train at the entrance. Though the weather was cloudy, the view and roaring sound were still amazing. Then we walked along the middle trial and had a close look of the falls. Since we stayed in Iguazú for two more nights, we did come back for another day because the weather was super, Definitely, the view looked much better! but you do need to keep you former ticket and add a bit money to renter the park! The 4x4 truck and boat ridingS are definitely the plus for this tour, which you don’t want to miss. Though we got a bit wet, it was thoughtful for the tour company to give water proof bags to everybody to keep our clothes dry (if you have a rain coat or swimming shorts, strongly recommend you to change them before you go. It will be really really wet) When we returned, we took the tour bus and went directly back to hotel. But when we came back the park another day, the view on the low trail were more beautiful. If you don’t have time to go to the park in Brazil side, you really better take a walk to low trial after the boat riding, but you may need to take public transportation or taxi to go back your hotel by yourself. If you have more time, you also don’t want to miss the view from Brazil side, it is breath taking view. If you go there holiday, you should expect lots lots of people on the view decks, especially a sunny day. But whatever the weather condition will be, you should be experience the different views of this splendid nature fall!

Boat ride is the must
Jan 2020 • Couples
Our coach Hector was very knowledgeable and relaxed that made it easier, since you really have some walking to do, and it was quite hot and humid... Long day... I would take children smaller then 7.. also, someone wrote previously that there is not much to eat there, and I have to correct that, because there is something on every stop we made, plus 3 kind of eateries for lunch time... One thing I didn't like.. it is too much touristy kind of thing.... when we travel, we like to have more domestic type of things...It was worth a trip from BA, we flew in the evening, did falls next day and flew back same day... One more thing, don't expect to see too many animals as they are probably hiding from this huge number of tourists.

Thanks for the feedback on your trip Bianca T! I'm glad you got to experience the incredible natural wonder of Iguazu Falls up-close and personal with the boat ride! It's a true once-in-a-lifetime kind of tour. Since Iguazu is so world-famous, it can get quite crowded. If you have flexible dates for travel, ask us about the options for an off-season adventure, when the National Park is less crowded. We hope that you come visit us again soon! Best, Cathie

Spectacular
The falls were breathtakingly beautiful. The train ride is just a means of transportation to get from main entrance to main falls (2nd stop) and restaurants and other falls (1st stop). The safari is really just a ride to the boat ride to go under the falls although the guides did provide tons of useful information about the falls. The boat ride was a one-of-a-kind experience and you will get totally soaked. I wore a poncho and still enjoyed.
