          Breathtaking views of natural landscapes!
This was a great tour! It was more about the views of nature, the natural landscapes and unique rock formations. Just the drive itself was breathtaking. We briefly tried three wines, if you are doing this tour for the wine, don’t. The wines were very sweet and we were only there for about 30 minutes. Then we went into Cafayate for a delicious lunch and walk around town before heading back. Overall a great day!

          Interesting Trip with Great Guide
Beautiful scenery and a good value. We chose the bilingual option and our tour had a mix of English and Spanish speakers. Our guide did a great job explaining things in both languages and it was overall a great experience. Pick up and drop off were easy, although the bus could have used a good cleaning.

Great tour, the Guide Leonard is amazing, informative, helpful and kind. It was planned very well, and the Driver's Eric and Leo did a great job. Highly recommend the tour.

          Amazing!! Really enjoyed it!
The guide was amazing. She really made it a sensorial experience of Salta. She brought water of Jamaica, her poncho, am Andean flute and lots of anecdotes, which made the journey very enjoyable.

Don’t book a minibus tour from Salsa
We had 3 tours in 3 days from Salta. All of the visitor attractions are so far from Salta that you have to travel 3-4 hours in a minibus to reach them. Our Argentinian travel guide in the UK suggested staying in Purmamarca to avoid a 3 hour drive back to Salta and another 3 hour drive the next morning. This was good advice. The Purmamarca hotel was wonderful. However, the drivers from the company Tiamar were so bad. They ignored speed restrictions, they ignored the double yellow lines in the middle of the road, they took risks when overtaking, they ignored loose animals at the side of the road including very young calves and goats. The trip with wine to Cafayate was not good. If they stopped at the amphitheater and turned around nothing would be missed. The wine tasting is terrible. The gorge is beautiful but there is no point in going on to Cafayate. Turning at the amphitheater would mean that they could drive at normal speeds and not make the passengers sick. On our drive to the salt lakes we had 3.5 hours before there was a toilet break. One passenger had to ask to stop and he had to relieve himself in full view of all of the road traffic. The women on the bus also wanted to go to the toilet but there was no possibility of them relieving themselves in the same way. We drove for 7 hours without food on the salt lake tour. The minibuses have two seats on the back row with no view. If you are unlucky to be the last hotel pick up then you will have these seats for 11 or 12 hours. Every passenger who was allocated these seats was unhappy. These seats should be sold at a discount as you cannot see anything from them. I had to spend 11 hours in one of them yesterday. If I had been last to be picked up this morning I would be phoning the company to ask for a refund. I have friends who have booked a trip to Salta. I will be advising them not to go in a minibus. These trips are uncomfortable and dangerous because of the driver behaviour.

Wonderful trip with sweat tour guide
Jasmin is wonderful, she helped us in explaining all attractions in English, even helped us order food in the restaurant . The driver is excellent too, stoped at multiple places for us to take photos

          Simply Breathtaking
About 45 minutes from Humahuaca up a fairly treacherous unpaved "road" the view is well worth the effort. You can get a hire up to the top, but it's a tough drive, we opted for the tour from Humahuaca with a guide and 4-wheel drive for Pesos 15k (about $15) and took 2 12 hours. There are a few local food stalls and a small artisan craft market. This is another must destination see in NW Argentina. The start point at Hunahuaca has a large artisan craft market and shows a typical view of rural Argentine life and is worth a stop too.

          A Very Long Bus Ride
Whilst our guide was extremely enthusiastic, and I don’t feel good being negative about this trip, it was a small catalogue of minor disappointments. Initial communication was confused; having been advised that pickup times would be 0700-0745 we got a message the night before advising that it was going to be 0640. We specified that we required English, and whilst we had no issue listening to commentary delivery in Spanish first, it was increasingly annoying that the English translation was 1 minute’s worth for every 3 in Spanish. I didn’t feel that we were really getting the full story. The stop in Humahuaca was the longest, allowing us to find something to eat and relax in the local setting. In fact we got 2 hours rather than one since the local guide only spoke Spanish. On the positive side, we enjoyed our lunch of llama stew at one of the only outside tables overlooking the fake goods traders in the square. Purmamarca was mostly a shopping expedition since the viewing point was a little bit anticlimactic, and only took 10 minutes to enjoy. Tilcara was an enjoyable stop of around 45 minutes, where the quality of restaurants and goods in the shops was significantly better than at the other towns. Overall, if I had known that we’d be covering over 500km in order to see 3 towns with commentary largely in Spanish, I don’t think I’d have signed up.

Shopping Spree Disguised as a Sightseeing Tour
The tour was disappointing. Despite the lead photo showing the Seven Color Hills, most of the day was spent stopping at shops. After 7 hours, we had a single 10 minute stop on the side of a highway to view the hills, obstructed by buildings and street lamps. One more shopping stop, then back home. Not what I expected. The bus was nice, however.

          Nice day excursion, wonderful landscape
The tour was very well organizef. Our guide (Angi) was very kind, knew a lot of things and funny as well! She and the driver Juan made sure that everybody felt safe and welcome. After an hour drive we stopped at a few famous spots and had enough time to take a picutre or buy a souvenir. After that, we had the chance to try 3 different wines. They were good too. Sadly, we couldn't try white wine, for which the region is famous for. In Cafayate we had two hours for ourselves which is enough to eat something and drink a coffee. On our way back we stopped at different spots and we were back on time. It was a really nice day and the landscape is so worth seeing it.

Nordic organized a wonderful excursion for us, thank you Pablo (tour guide) and Nordic team
Nordic organized a wonderful excursion for us, we really enjoyed it! We left from Salta in the morning, a bus came to pick us up at the hotel at 7am and dropped us off at 6,30pm. Our tour guide Pablo was extremely nice, very knowledgable, very professional but also extremely caring (people sometimes get sick due to the altitude when going to the Salinas Grandes, so he was really looking after all of us). We stoped at a restaurant in Purmamarca for lunch which had a set pre-arranged price for a buffet, the food was good and the price was very fair (which is very appreciated because some tour companies sometimes take you to the more expensive restaurants). Driving around Jujuy, especially when going to the Salinas Grandes can be dangerous (quality of road and altitude sickness), so it is a good idea to do this with a tour operator. Before this excursion, my partner and I rented a car and spent 3 days driving South of Salta to Cafayate (Valles Calchaquies, Quebrada de las Conchas), we usually prefer driving ourselves to have a more intimate experience than joining a group. However, I think this excursion is best done through a tour operator.

Tour takes all day and you pass on several villages along the way
We took this tour that lasted the whole day. We felt it was worth it as we had the opportunity to visit several villages along the way. They are villages surrounded by mountains and when you arrive you will notice that many have establishments specifically to sell souvenirs and gifts to tourists. On the one hand it was good because we stopped at several places and when we arrived at them they gave us the freedom to wander around a little. But on the other hand, because there were so many short stops (about 30 minutes), it meant that we didn't have time to do almost anything and we didn't really know what to do because we were afraid of going too far and being late getting back to the transport. Another positive point is the tour guide who told stories along the way. At the lunch stop, they took us to a specific restaurant along with the whole group. I paid around 12 thousand pesos for a dish with starter, main course and dessert. I purchased the tour on their website.

          Breathtaking Views
Had a lovely day visiting to the north of Salta with absolutely incredible views. The colored mountains were breathtaking. We enjoyed visiting the small towns that had such amazing culture. Language barrier is very difficult if you only speak English but everyone is so kind and willing to help. It’s a very long day but well worth it!

          Don't trust this company
Don't join their tour if you don't want to loose your money. They believe they are doing very reasonable and correctly for not refund to customers for any tour canccellation. Don't trust them anymore. They can cancel the tour what they want without any responsibilities. Shame on them!!!!

          Terrible experience
Bad experience. They rearranged our tour and finally cancelled it WITHOUT any refund. They don't take any responsibility only earn money. The staff in the office is not well trained, they are not respectful and helpful. They only asked us to send email to contact their boss for the complaint and refund matters. One of them did not willing to tell her name which is ridiculous as a Customer Service staff. Overall not recommended, there should be a better choice in Town.

We did the excursion to Cafayate and its ravines with the guide Angie and then the excursion to Salinas Grandes with the guide Ximena. In both cases they were beautiful experiences, both the guides and the drivers showed a lot of professionalism and made us have great moments. Nordic is recommended for all this and for punctuality, prior coordination and attention.

Each of the three day trips had excellent guides (kudos to Pamela, my translator to Cafayate) who were full of information about the history and sights en route to and in the areas visited. Each day, we drove through spectacular scenery and saw how the people of Salta and Jujuy Provinces live and work from the winery in Cafayate, to the markets of Purmamarca and Humahuaca and to the salt flats at Salinas Grandes. These lives and lifestyles are not what one experiences if one visits Buenos Aires only. Each of these trips was about 12-13 hours long, but well worth the time and at an excellent price. Nordic Travel even picked me up at a downtown private residence, a fact I appreciated.

The truth is that the company has an absolute 10. The attention, the punctuality, the treatment of all the kids, both the guides Jazmín and Pablo, as well as the administrative part, confirming the itineraries with sufficient advance notice. Totally recommended. You can't regret it.

You have to keep in mind that you get up at 5 am and return to the hotel after 6 pm, on all excursions because the tours are far away. The guides are very good, bilingual, prepared with a lot of information, good predisposition, I mention Jaz and Matias, excellent. The company did not pick us up at the hotel, so we had to go to the meeting point at dawn, which caused a lot of inconvenience and is not stipulated when hiring. The departure from Salinas Grandes was disastrous, the bus broke when going up to the salt flat at more than 3000 meters above sea level, which had already left with problems, the driver told us that the bus had already broken down the day before, they repaired it quickly and he returned to go out with us. We waited 2 hours on the side of the road for other buses to pass with a place that would allow us to continue the climb to the salt flat at 4 thousand meters, then to return to Salta we had to wait hours, they left us at the hotel at 9: 30 pm, having gotten up at 5 am.
Would I hire them again? Definitely not. I would choose private tours that take less time, fewer unnecessary stops and are more dynamic.

If you speak english, you will get half the informations compare to spanish. I understand spanish and believe me, what they say in spanish is much more complete than in english. 10 minutes explainations in spanish then 2 minutes in English. For the 3 trips we were 1 to 3 english speaking couples. All the informations are in spanish (pick up time by e-mail, conditions of sales...) I should have understood it seeing the whole web site in spanish only ... Guides are probably not qualified. The only guide I saw wearing a badge was from another company... Make the excursions with another company because the places were beautiful. I do not recommend this company.

It's a 3/5 service. Practice to hire the combos if you need to solve your schedule in Salta. However, it is not luxury. Although they do.

Starting with hiring, they publish “no hidden prices” at x value. Then according to the time they modify it.

The transfer to and from the airport by JUAN is excellent. Very good driver.

The excursion made to Cafayate with ANGIE gives flavor to little. Going to cafayate is to the rocket. The “red earth” winery is one of the worst I’ve ever seen, including the owner’s batterer. I also highlight the energy of the guide. How it was “high season” in addition to charging you more, they send you in a large bus with 45 people who do very little personalized the excursion added that if you go behind the microphone is the worst experience of your life. They just sent two retirees in the back seats where they didn’t see or hear anything, the answer was “send a message to the company.”

The excursion to large salt flats and Purmamarca with Raul is longer. I highlight the beauty of the village. Raul is a strange character who defines himself as a flirting machine, good person, but the content of his guide is not the best. I highlight Mauritius' work as a driver, a complicated route.
