      Stunning
Our tour guide for the museum was particularly informative; both were very good. This was an amazing, not to be missed experience. Guayasamin is extraordinary.

      Great Tour
This was a great experience especially for the price! The tour starts by going around Banos and showing some highlights. The first attraction was the adventure place where you can zip line or go across a crystal bridge. The bus waits a moment while everyone makes a decision, we were there for maybe 15 minutes and it was a really nice view so it wasnt a hard wait. The bus then meets anyone that ziplined on the other side. There was a moment where the bus route takes you under water dripping down the cliffface and since its an open top bus you may get a bit wet if you dont manage to move and dodge it. Was great fun tho and a hot day so cooling and easy to dry off. The next attraction was a cable car across the river and back which was also quite enjoyable but a bit sketchy. There was also a stop at a place that makes traditional Banos candy. Final stop is the waterfall which was Beautiful. They give you a time limit but the tour guide stayed with the furthest behind walker on the way back so they wouldn't leave without us! Overall a lot of fun and well worth it considering we may have just taxid there otherwise. The guide was in Spanish and our Spanish is not great but he did try to explain where we were and how long we had in English which was very nice of him! Also, in some cases it said entry was included and in some it said it isnt. To clarify, we paid our own entry to the waterfall but it was only a few dollars.

      Amazing
This was absolutely fantastic. Mateus and Marco were wonderful. I have a fear of heights but Marco went with me on each of zip lines making me feel very comfy and relaxed. The views are stunning. Highly recommend.

      A Fun Outing from Quito
It is a beautiful drive from Quito with options for side trips along the way. Our trip included stops at a humming bird pavilion and a chocolate factory. We chose to walk the forest path to the falls and ride the cable car out. The hike is relatively easy, with steps in the steeper parts, but the entry fee includes the loan of a walking stick. The forest itself is very interesting. We had hired a local guide in Quito (LincolnJabra - most highly recommended) who shared his amazing knowledge of the plant and animal life in the forest - every house plant you have ever owned growing the size of trees; air plants everywhere, especially orchids; and tropical birds. The short cable car ride across the deep valley was a fun ending. Because of COVID, they do a temperature check on every visitor, encourage social distancing, and sanitize the cable car after every use.

      Mediocre
We took the Cable Car (Tarabita) over and back and hiked the trail down to the "Large" waterfall. Limited tourists now so no lines and only a couple other people. Trail maintenance and steps are in disrepair, 20 mins down, 30 mins up. The Large waterfall is just a small 12-15 ft cascade over a few rocks and the forest is not really very impressive. We hike regularly in Hawaii where we live and those hike are much more scenic in terms of lush greenery, flowers, birds and real waterfalls. Maybe something to do if you are in the area but definitely not as a daytrip from Quito.

      Awesome!!!! Do it!!!
I absolutely loved this trip!! It was such a wonderful experience. It is strenuous if you want to see all 7 waterfalls. The queen waterfall (Cascada Reina) takes 50 minutes to reach. In all, I was hiking for 4 hours and that was at a decent pace. Oh, and at one point, I had to take off my shoes and socks to cross the river to get to one of the waterfalls. It wasn’t too deep, but the rocks are slippery. So be careful and take your time getting steady footing. Some recommendations: wear bug spray (there are mosquitos out there), bring water and some snacks. You will be burning calories hiking up and down to reach the waterfalls. So, you need to stay hydrated and maintain your energy throughout. It costs $6 to take a taxi from the center of Mindo to the waterfalls. Well worth it because you can conserve your energy. Unless you really want to walk uphill on a windy road for an hour before the actual hike begins. Have fun!!!

DON’T BUY your tickets through skip the line
Worst service ever. I bought two ticket to skip the line. When I arrived to the counter I showed the tickets from my mobile and the cashier told me the tickets were invalid. The boss came and he said the tickets were probably used. I bought them yesterday. I had to pay again. And I am not entitled to get a refund. What a rip-off!!

      No time to visit
Pick up was supposed to be at 2 pm, atually was at 2 :20 pm did not list picking up from hotels as well or dropping visitors at a different attraction. We arrived at 4 pm at the site; waited some more for tickets. Got in at about 4:15 pm. Had to stay with the group! Went to the monument, then had 20 minutes free to get up there and take pics. Had to be back at the church to listen to the guide for the next 20+ minutes. When I asked (for the 3rd time) at what time we were leaving leaving and where was he meeting point so we can visit on our own. I was told now so we had to stay together, so we only saw the Church and the monument. We were very disappointed as we really wanted to see the "houses" and the chocolate museum, at least. The guide was knowledgeable, but had his own interest (the Church) and was unwilling to let us explore on our own what interested us. Would have been better to take a taxi there, and use the $5 shuttle from the site to come back to Quito.

      Trip Time Mix-Up
I booked this trip via Trip Advisor and the confirmation listed an 8am pick up time. The departure point was a shop which had not yet opened. We arrived at 7:45am and waited outside until 8:15am but nobody arrived. We later returned to the shop during its opening hours and the shop owner was kind enough to send a text message to the tour operator on our behalf. It seems the actual tour departure pick up time was 8:30am but due to a miscommunication between the tour operator and Trip Advisor, we were told 8am. I have since followed up with the tour operator directly by email to request a refund but have not heard back.

      Fun place to check out
This was a very neat place to check out. It's amazing to see the power of the equator first hand!! It was also interesting to hear about the native people to this area. I forget about the cultures from so long ago and it's nice to be reminded of them.

      Good value for the tour
I took the 2pm ride, departing from Galerías Ecuador, a side from a minor delay due protest happening in the country, the tour was nice, out guide, Heidy, provided instructions both in English and Spanish. Her explanations where clear and her disposition was really nice, same as our driver! The time we spent at the location was appropriate, I would have loved to stay until sunset, but for security reasons the site was closing early. The gift shop at the monument of the middle of the world stamps your passport - as a visitor To the middle of the planet - fun stamp to have! The Paila Ice cream - or ice cream Museum has a nice assortment of flavors to pick from and at the end of the chocolate tour, there’s an small shop where u can get some sweets and pastries and beauty products. Bring a scarf... it’s windy! And make sure u are wearing sunscreen... since most is open and under the sun!

Go Hike and Take the Cable Car Back
The long was really long to get on the cable car so our guide suggested we hike in the forest - it was the perfect thing to do! We got away from the crowds (it was an Ecuador holiday) and we saw beautiful plants, flowers and butterflies. We came to the falls area and found a gazillion people. The water was cold and it was a fairly hot day so many were in the water. It was not the place for solitude but the walk through the jungle provided many quiet moments. We hiked up the back side of the falls area and eventually came to the cable car drop off point. There was not a line so we were able to get on fairly quickly to cross back over to where it begins. The trip across is beautiful - you are up above the cloud forest so you get a different perspective. It seems perfectly safe. I'd suggest walking the trail to the falls then hiking up to the cable car to get back to the beginning, The trail is not conducive to wheelchairs or strollers. It's not flat all the way but even the steeper parts are not difficult. Just be ready to go up and down in places. Carry water with you.

We had such a fun day. The tour guides were amazing! We had young kids with us and they really helped the kids out. Our kids loved it so much and wanted to do the route again. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Zip lining was incredible! This place (Puntzan) has 6 lines with the last one measuring 550 mts and running right on top of a river stream. The guides were really helpful and explained everything thoroughly. We started the activity at 11am, but you can arrive at Puntzan any time. The views you get here are amazing, I would recommend everyone to try this zip lining ng out!
