About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Nancy E0 contributionsCHEATED ME OUT OF MY MONEY — THEY WOULD NOT HONOR MY TIX —THEY OVERBOOKED!I had pre purchased four tickets for a 2:30 pm trolley tour on 11/10/24 (two of the tickets were for out of state house guests). When I was getting ready to board the trolley, the tour guide would NOT honor my tickets because they said the trolley was already full. They had overbooked! I asked for a refund but I am still waiting to hear back from Trip Advisor. The tour operator offered a later tour but we had to be at another place and didn’t have time because we were on a strict schedule as we were taking our out of state guests around AZ that whole day.Written 11 November 2024
- kathybG5096SF0 contributionsSee aboveWe had a blast! We watched one of the gunfights. We went on the trolley ride. We enjoyed bits of the history of the town. We ate at big nose, Kate’s restaurant! And we rode on the stagecoach! We just happened to go visit on Halloween, and it was so much fun to see how the community had prepared for Halloween visitors. I also had fun buying little gifts to bring home for the grandkids! I have a lollipop sucker for you to the little boy grand sons and heart suckers for the granddaughters and little Shot glasses for my two sons. The shot glasses said I took my last shot at tombstone! Fun!Written 1 November 2024
- Maps4503290 contributionsComedy showI didn’t realize this was a comedy show. They did ok for that. Your online ticketing needs to reference this. Next trip will be for something with a little more history.Written 24 August 2024
- debip1450 contributionsOff Season QuietEnjoyed the tour, original time reserved was cancelled because we were the only passengers. Rescheduled for a later time, many things closed in town as it was considered off season.Written 30 July 2024
- PaHiker10 contributionsThe guide makes the trip! The gentleman who led the trip (sorry, don’t remember his name) looked like he just stepped out of the old west. He had lots of information on the towns’ history and answered every question with enthusiasm. The only downside was that he didn’t stop at the various places long enough to take photos, but I guess the tour company’s schedule doesn’t allow for it.Written 25 May 2024
- magnoliasunday0 contributionsWorthwhile short tourWe took the trolly tour early in the day so that the rest of the day we would know what we were looking at! It lasts about 20 minutes and takes you around the main points of interest, the cost was $15 pp. Recommended if you want to get the most from your day.Written 20 March 2024
- cleenliven0 contributionsEntertainingThis was an okay trip. We paired it up with the gunfight show. The Gunfight was pretty entertaining, with corny humor mixed in.. The tour guide is very knowledgeable, and we learned a lot, but the town is small, and the tour coverage area was just about walkable. I think next time we would just stick with the gunfight.Written 16 March 2024
- mikea19490 contributionsIf in Tombstone the 1st time, start here.If it's your first trip to Tombstone, I heartedly recommend the trolley. Great overview of the town and history you can not get by walking around. The Earp stary is well explained, the origin of the boom town, and all the historic spots are covered.Written 17 February 2024
- Explorer5723180 contributionsGreat Tour Guide & Informative, Fun TourIt was a cold day but the trolley was nice and warm. The tour guide was great and fit the part. He was very informative and fun. My husband and I learned a lot about Tombstone's history and other fun facts during this quick 25 minute tour. We would highly recommend!Written 5 February 2024
- MARYKJJoliet0 contributionsFun trolley & gunfight in TombstoneWe purchased tickets for the minute trolley tour and gunfight, it was worth the money and more, our tour guide on the trolley was very informative about the history of Tombstone, we saw where The Earp brothers homes, where the shoot out was and many more historical markers. The gunfight was absolutely the best, the actors were great inner mingled with the audience and it was a very entertaining gunfight. Would definitely recommendWritten 31 January 2024
- ReadRibbet0 contributionsFun Family Friendly Tombstone ShowThis stunt comedy show was $8 a ticket with discounts and is offered throughout the day. The stories are told with a western set back drop. Audience is seated in the outdoor forum and encouraged to participate in the show. The actors show off some stunts and special effects as they act out the stories. Funny lines are integrated throughout the show. Time is provided at the end to pose with the actors for photo ops. The Theme Park has a few other things to check out (some for additional fees). The tickets can be used for discounts at other Tombstone venues. It's fun and family friendly, but keep your expectations low.Written 12 January 2024
- 905rexm0 contributionsWinter haven TucsonWe had a wonderful time at Winter-haven in Tucson,Az. The trolley is a perfect way to see all the Christmas lights and amazing decorations in this beautiful neighborhood and the driver is very friendly and knowledgeable, after our trolley ride we walked around a little and had Hot Chocolate and cookies.Written 27 December 2023

- Kara C0 contributionsCAUTION: there are 2 trolley companies that run trolley tours. DO NOT do the OLD Tombstone trolleyTake the trolly tour that leaves from the old mines departure point. NOT the Old Tombstone trolley. This was super confusing once we got there. We prepaid for tickets and Old Tombstone trolley’s weren’t even running! Their trolly cars were all in Tucson🤦♀️. But worked out for the best as we were told that the other trolley tour is better. We recommend it! Depart from the mines and you won’t be disappointed.Written 13 December 2023

We stopped in Tombstone for a few hours and one of the activities that we did was the comedic gunfight show (note, there is another show that covers the gunfight at the OK corral).
We chose this one since we were a family of adults that wanted to see some entertainment. The jokes were very corny, but we did enjoy to laugh, moan and cheer.
We didn't buy tickets in advance since we didn't know when we would be there. They do require 12+ people to put on the show, which only arrived about 2 min before the time. We did end up purchasing online while standing in line for them to open the gate.
We were glad to help support the actors, since I am sure they have been impacted by the pandemic.

We walked to the Hitch Post Cafe around 3:30 pm for something to drink. We couldn’t get in because it was closed. The rest of the area was open, and some people walking out told us about the cantina inside with soft drinks, so we decided to go in and sit down. By the time we finished our drinks, a terrible monsoon came, making it impossible for us to walk out without getting soaked. At 4:00 the area was closing, and the storm caused the theme park to flood with water. The actors from the gunfight told us that we had to leave despite us not having umbrellas and having to put our shoes underwater. I understand that they were closing, but they could’ve easily allowed the two of us to take shelter until the storm died down a little. We had to run Allen St. with dripping shoes and hair to take cover under the businesses. Could’ve been more considerate of the bad weather.

Though our monsoons can be fun to observe, we are sorry about your unpleasant experience. We will certainly have a talk with our employees over this matter. It sounds completely out of character for any of them to not keep the business open for you, especially during inclement weather. Please give us a call and we will certainly comp you some tickets to our show and a ride aboard our historical trolley car tour upon your next visit. Happy Trails

So. Much. Fun. Honestly? For $10, we were expecting a 15 minute cheezy gun fight that we could pretty much just say we did at Tombstone. We got so much more! These dudes (and the dudette) were a hoot! Great chemistry- funny show- fantastic audience interaction- and it was a good 45 minutes to boot! Good time all the way around! For $5 extra, we grabbed a 30 minute trolley ride and soaked up a little history, too. I would have given it a solid 5 stars had the whole seating area been covered (even in February, that sun was hot!). It advertises to be part of a “theme park”...ummmm...no. There’s pretty much a gift shop, a sad little mini golf course, a tiny little “cantina”, with, of course the show stage. It’s kind of pitiful, but the show was the highlight of the day! Do it!

We are happy that you enjoyed our show! Thank you for the nice review. We do realize when people hear the words “theme park” they generally are expecting roller coasters, rides etc. Our western themed park is a work in progress and we do try our best to promote the old west western theme.
Happy Trails!

So it was on the warm side and I wish there was more shade. Only 1/4 of the seating is shaded, so get in early and snag your seat. Other than that very, very small criticism, visitors should know it’s not the reenactment of the o.k. Corral Shootout. I purposely chose this gun show because I can watch the movie Tombstone for the famous gun fight, and my kids would rather laugh and be silly (as would I). This show is silly, corny, hilarious.... did I say corny? It was great, clean family fun! Participation is a MUST, so scream and holler! The more you do, the more they feed off it and yell back at the crowd. Just go!

This Gunfight Show is well worth the very reasonable admission fee. Please be sure to have some extra cash on hand to tip at the end of the show. They really do a very nice job of bringing historical figures to life and will pose for a photo with you afterward, if you like.

We arrived at Old Tombstone for the 3 p.m. on April 17. Old Tombstone was closed for the day. There were 6 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 children. The other Gunfight at OK Corral which is what I thought I was buying would not accept our tickets. We were told that has happened before. I need o get a refund for the $100,56 I spent for tickets. Because we had family from Virginia and Prescott AZ and we winter in Tucson, returning another day was not an option. So we bought tickets from the OK Corral and everyone had a good time, but I want a refund for the $100,56 tickets we could not use

A very entertaining show giving a taste of the Old West with a Marshall, gunslinger and miner settling their differences in typical fashion with shootouts on the set of a Main Street. The actors/stuntmen are very experienced with at least one from the now closed Old Tucson who has also acted in films. Well worth the money.

Just happened to plan the trip during the 92nd annual Helldorado days, found vintage clothes for me and my wife at a local antique mall, had an absolute blast in the past. This is the coolest wild west town with the most genuine history in America 🇺🇸

The skits were entertaining with lots of laughs. The show involved the audience that kept you in the fun. All actors were great especially with their stunts. Nothing better than watching an old western gun fight.

Warning! This is not the site for the original OK Corral shootout. I tried to cancel with this warning “ there will be a “100% cancellation fee” so if I tried to cancel, I would still be charged the total amount. This is for a different place in Tombstone, not the original site of OK Corral. Buyers Beware!

Howdy, we are sorry about your confusion as to what venue that you had purchased tickets for in Tombstone. Our website states the name of our business and its address. Our venue is home to the longest running professional show in Tombstone. (Since 1996) Most of our actors are professionals actors and stuntmen from many movies including the film Tombstone. We are sorry if there was any confusion in the purchase of your ticket. We clearly advertise that we provide a half hour comedy Wild West Stunt Show and have marketed ourselves with that distinction for over 25 years. Since then 4 other Gunfight theaters (including the OK) have started daily performances years after ours and they are all entertaining. We understand that there may be some confusion as result. We offer a 100% refund on any ticket sales with no cancellation fees. Please feel free to call our office manager with the provided phone number on our website www.tombstonegunfights.com and he will be happy to refund you for your inconvenience. Happy Trails
