    What to Expect
Commence your tour with hotel pickup in Reykjavik at 7am, when you’ll board a climate-controlled vehicle destined for Iceland’s south shore. Following a scenic 2-hour journey over Hellisheiði lava plateau, you’ll arrive at the mighty Sólheimajökull Glacier: replete with ice caves, crevasses, and turquoise streams.
Then, absorb the obsidian sands of Reynisfjara Beach, flanked by hundreds of black basalt columns reminiscent of Ireland’s Giant’s Causeway.
From here, you’ll proceed to Vik — Iceland’s southernmost town — where you’ll visit Iceland’s only war memorial, the Víkurprjón wool factory, and Vik’s gorgeous red-roofed church.
On the way back to Reykjavik, you’ll stop at the majestic Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls before hotel drop-off at around 5pm.

The excursion scenery itself is fantastic and great. We could not have asked for better sights. However, my husband and I booked this Small-Group Day trip where they crammed 20 people into a tiny bus. They should have only allowed for 15-16 max so people...More

There is a good food stop on this particular trip when you get to Vik (and we stopped at a petrol station for the toilets and snacks) but the food in Iceland is expensive. I’d recommend bringing a packed lunch and it’s quite... More
