What to Expect
Your morning starts with pickup from designated locations around Reykjavik. From there, head out of the city to the Secret Lagoon, located on the famous Golden Circle route. Widely considered among Iceland’s top attractions, the Secret Lagoon is a series of heated pools and baths where the water stays at 100–104° Fahrenheit (38–40 Celsius) throughout the year. Admire sweeping views over the Icelandic countryside from the comfort of your coach and then enjoy two hours to relax at your leisure in the Secret Lagoon’s steaming pools. Afterward, travel by bus through the beautiful Haukadalur Valley, home to geothermal features, including the Strokkur geyser and Gullfoss waterfall. Tour through the Thingvellir National Park, where the mighty North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet, and listen as your guide shares the history of the world’s oldest still-functioning parliament. Then, take a seat back aboard your coach for the return journey to your drop-off point in Reykjavik.

The Golden Circle tour was excellent. Our Guide Atli was knowledgeable and courteous. He pointed out many things we would have missed on our own. The Mercedes mini bus was comfortable and equipped with WIFI. My only criticism would be that there were not enough...More

We had a very pleasant guide and group, but did not learn as much about the area as we had anticipated from our walking tour guide. We wished he had told us more. Also, the first site visit to the parliament site involved a lot...More

Very nice tour of some of Icelands biggest turist attractions. The driver/guide was really good and funny, and one of the best things was that we got to experience the sites on our own and not follow the guide in a big tour group. Would...More

No, there are plenty places to buy food so no need to take any with you. Good fish and chips at the secret lagoon and excellent homemade soup at the geyser.
