- 198marjattal0 contributionsGreat day with miguelWe had a wonderful experience and Miguel was a wonderful guide! We learned a lot about local culture and crafted some tasty wineWritten 21 March 2025
- W9469ZEronh0 contributionsWe enjoyed the olive tour. Highly recommended! We really appreciated the olive tour. Despite the rainy weather it was a great success. The explanation about the processing of the olives into oil by our guide Miguel was very clear. Tasting the different types of olive oil was also very educational. After a beautiful ride through the mountains with the beautiful landscape we enjoyed a delicious meal at a typical Spanish restaurant. Our friendly and good-humored guide Miguel certainly contributed to this fantastically fun and educational day. Highly recommended!Written 14 March 2025
- Cosmopolitan3161000 contributionsGo Ole!! A tour like no other - excellent! Five-star++This is the second trip we've done with Ole and it it just got better! Another two beautiful white villages, Torrox Pueblo and Competa, with Miguel as our very knowledgeable guide. Add a visit to a small family wine business and tasting of three very palatable wines, followed by a lovely lunch in a pretty village made a Grand Day Out!! Just 7 of us from 3 countries we laughed a lot and learned a lot! Thank you Ole 😊Written 9 March 2025
- Cosmopolitan3161000 contributionsOletrips - The Best!!If you can only go on one trip make sure it's this one with Oletrips! Two words - Absolutely Fabulous!! All previous 5 reviews say it all. We've been coming to the Costa del Sol for 35+ years and knew nothing about Axarquia. Each of the five villages visited were beautiful and Ciprianos knowledge and stories so interesting. We're hooked - the small group, comfortable minibus and lovely lunch made best day out. Thank you Ole 😊Written 9 March 2025
- NorthStar044719713680 contributionsMarbella and MijasWe learned so much about Andulsia right from our start in Nerja to our destination of Marbella and Mijas. Cipriano is very knowledgeable and very friendly…highly recommend this tour!Written 5 March 2025
- davidhY9928LO0 contributionsExcellent small group tour of the Alhambra and Albayzin neighbourhoodOle Trips provided us with a first class tour of the Alhambra and Albayzin neighbourhood. Miguel, our driver and tour guide, was charming, knowledgeable, and provided excellent value. Special thanks to María and Cipriano in the Ole office for arranging the logistics of our trip as it had to be arranged outside of their normally scheduled trips to Granada. Wish we had more time to try some of their other day trips. Highly recommended!Written 27 February 2025
- M8839ITstuartl0 contributionsA great day out!We did the Sun and Wine Tasting day out which we can thoroughly recommend. Our team of 4 Brits were picked up at 8.45 am by our guide Miguel in Caleta followed by a couple from Norway at 9am in Nerja. We headed straightaway inland into the mountains for our first stop in Torrox Pueblo. There our walking history tour began as we weaved our way round the streets and the Old Town. We learned about the Arabic village architecture designed to keep out invaders and Almanzor, the great leader of the Moors. We admired the wonderful views straight down to the sea. Then it was on to Competa much further up into the mountains with even more spectacular views for another walking tour to learn about its history and traditions and the importance of donkeys, an absolute necessity for life back then. We had a very welcome break for coffee in Competa at about 12 noon before heading to the 5th generation family-run small bodega whose wines were selected by a group of blind wine tasters for the Spanish King's wedding 20 years ago - showing how special their wines are. Again, much information about the traditional hands-on method of wine production along with the delicious wines to taste and the small shop to browse and select products to buy from. The mountain scenery was spectacular with the almond trees blossoming into pink and white froths and the mimosa trees showing off their yellow bloom. Having become slightly tipsy, our tummies were ready for a delicious 3 course lunch in the village of Sayalonga, with plenty of choice, at about 2.30pm after which we were delivered back to our respective locations, having had a marvellous day out. Miguel was such a great guide, full of historical information (and current day facts!) great fun and a fantastic grasp of the English language. Thankyou Miguel!Written 20 February 2025
- Scenic3917210 contributionsAlways extremely pleased with OletripsWe had a wonderful day in Cordoba with Miguel as our guide. He was an extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful guide. He worked hard to give us a taste of the various traditional food experiences. Highly recommend Oletrips as this was our 5th tour in the 2 years we have been visiting Nerja. Thank you.Written 19 February 2025

- F6423WCmichaell0 contributionsGreat day out in the hills of Andalucia visiting some lovely white village.I went on this trip on Monday 13th January. It was a fantastic day out with Miguel our driver and guide and another couple who I just met on the day. Miguel was such a nice easy-going fella who was very knowledgeable and good company. The villages we visited were very pretty and architecturally very pleasing. Miguel gave us a lot of very interesting details about the history of the area. The four of us had a lot of laughs also along the way ! All in all, a great day out and very well worth the price. Muchas gracias !!!Written 17 January 2025

- 98rebeckah0 contributionsSol och vinruttGuided tours are usually of varying quality, but this tour was truly a highlight. First of all, we ended up with two couples from Liverpool, just their presence enhanced the experience. Regarding the guide and the guide's knowledge and ability to deliver interesting and relevant information, it was magnificent. He captured our attention, without being too intense. Just taking us up to the heights on those roads, would make many hesitate, but with a sure hand the guide drove us up in a very pleasant way. The walks through the different villages, how the small-scale wine production is conducted and the wine tasting afterwards, were all an incomparable experience. We are so grateful for this tour and have already thought about the next tour, when visiting Nerja. Thank you so much!Written 6 January 2025
- Deb0220 contributionsPerfect dayPerfecto! I couldn’t have asked for a better tour! Small, intimate, informative, spectacularly beautiful and fun! Cipriano is an outstanding guide who combines his formal education with his lifelong experience in this region to provide guests with insight only a person with his passion can give. This is a top-notch experience in which I highly recommend!Written 4 January 2025

Lovely trip with friendly host. We really enjoyed our tour. We were picked up right beside our accommodation in time in avsuper clean and comfortable car. Our host was a competent and safe driver who had a good knowledge of the villages we visited. He worked hard as his group consisted of different nationalities. The meal included was tasty. The tour of Frigiliana was awesome and Cipriano’s passion for the history of the village and the region made for superb storytelling as we walked the narrow alleys and visited the church and small stores. And the weather was just right! The visit to the lost village (El Acebuchal) reached another level. The contrast between the history of this small village and its place in the Spanish Civil War (forced resettlement by Franco) gave us a true appreciation for the remarkable dedication and efforts of a local entrepreneur (who we met) to rebuild and restore some of the buildings into a modern accommodations for visitors who can enjoy the nearby walking trails. The lunch which featured wild boar stew, rice and local bread was washed down with a very nice beer. What a fantastic experience! Cipriano, thank you!

The day we went to Frigiliana, there was only a small group of us, 3 in total. The tour was very personalized to all of us, and we learned so much about the history and architecture of the amazingly beautiful town, with lots of time to take pictures, shop, and explore. Cipriano knows the area like the back of his hand; he knew the exact time to show up before the crowds came in order to maximize enjoyment and truly take in the beauty of the area. After enjoying Frigiliana, the trip up to Acebuchal (the lost village) was full of amazing mountain views of the valley and the sea (though the drive up the mountain was nerve-wracking for some, Cipriano is an amazing driver). Acebuchal is very small, but insanely beautiful, and it was an honour to be invited to eat in the restaurant there and enjoy the history and the shop. The man who restored the village, Antonio, is great fun and even offered us his homemade salchichon and moscatel to try. The food in Acebuchal is amazing, I would have paid the same amount the tour is worth just for the food. You will learn so much and enjoy every minute of this experience.

My 12-year-old daughter was also enthusiastic about the informative and entertaining guided tour of the picturesque village of Frigiliana in the small group and still raves about the delicious house bread with olive oil in the Lost Village. We can highly recommend Oletrips and the tour guide Cipriano. Next time in Andalusia we will gladly book with you again!

Well.. this was a fantastic trip, so glad we booked it, Miguel our driver/tour guide was amazing, so informative and clearly dedicated to his role.
We were driven to The Lost Village for lunch high up in the terrain for lunch, the food was authentic and delicious.
The trip was private, myself and my husband along with 3 other lovely people from The US who we spent the day with, this was a bonus and made the tour even more enjoyable.
Yes we certainly can recommend this trip 100%! Thank you Miguel! 👍

Amazing one-day trip with a nice small group. We had visited Frigiliana before on our own, but it's absolutely advisable to go on this guided tour to get more information and discover some hidden marvelous places the guide shows us.
After some free time, our experienced guide us drive us somewhere even more special. Excellent trip!
About our experience, I will definitely score it 10 out of 10. Best driver and guide, superb home-made food at a charming local restaurant, nice company, and a lovely temperature (although that last point didn’t depend on the tour guide).
We came along with out 5 year-old boy who also enjoyed the day and the company. :)
In conclusion, 100% recommended.

Great tour from beginning the end. My Fiance and I booked this quite last minute the evening before but even then Maria was in contact arranging out pick up point and time. Cipriano then gave us the tour, we spent a few hours in Frigiliana and then visited the Lost Village where we had the most delicious lunch. Cipriano is a very engaging guide who knew the answer to all out questions. He also sent me on photos he took of us while on the trip which was a nice touch.

A very friendly Miquel has given us a nice day.
We had a good explanation about Frigiliana and The Lost Village.
Miquel paid close attention to make sure everyone heard his explanation.
Without a Guide the visit of Frigiliana and The lost Village would not have been so fascinating.
Lunch was also delicious at The lost Village.

Very good informative tour , Miguel was exceptional, kind , friendly & considerate. The drive upto El Acebuchal was a little hairy due to the terrible weather over the two previous days, but Miguel didn't show us his concern & navigated the road perfectly. Lunch was lovely & we really enjoyed chatting to Miguel. The tour still went ahead even though it was only the 3 of us. Will definitely book another tour on our return to Nerja in the future.

We did the one hour Frigliana walking tour and it was AMAZING. It was the right amount of time too. Our guide was so lovely, she knew everyone in town. The city is so beautiful with quaint little streets and shops and the friendliest people. It is definitely worth the time if in Nerja or neighbouring towns.
