We really appreciated the olive tour. Despite the rainy weather it was a great success. The explanation about the processing of the olives into oil by our guide Miguel was very clear. Tasting the different types of olive oil was also very educational. After a beautiful ride through the mountains with the beautiful landscape we enjoyed a delicious meal at a typical Spanish restaurant. Our friendly and good-humored guide Miguel certainly contributed to this fantastically fun and educational day. Highly recommended!

This is the second trip we've done with Ole and it it just got better! Another two beautiful white villages, Torrox Pueblo and Competa, with Miguel as our very knowledgeable guide. Add a visit to a small family wine business and tasting of three very palatable wines, followed by a lovely lunch in a pretty village made a Grand Day Out!! Just 7 of us from 3 countries we laughed a lot and learned a lot! Thank you Ole 😊

If you can only go on one trip make sure it's this one with Oletrips! Two words - Absolutely Fabulous!! All previous 5 reviews say it all. We've been coming to the Costa del Sol for 35+ years and knew nothing about Axarquia. Each of the five villages visited were beautiful and Ciprianos knowledge and stories so interesting. We're hooked - the small group, comfortable minibus and lovely lunch made best day out. Thank you Ole 😊

We learned so much about Andulsia right from our start in Nerja to our destination of Marbella and Mijas. Cipriano is very knowledgeable and very friendly…highly recommend this tour!

Ole Trips provided us with a first class tour of the Alhambra and Albayzin neighbourhood. Miguel, our driver and tour guide, was charming, knowledgeable, and provided excellent value. Special thanks to María and Cipriano in the Ole office for arranging the logistics of our trip as it had to be arranged outside of their normally scheduled trips to Granada. Wish we had more time to try some of their other day trips. Highly recommended!

We did the Sun and Wine Tasting day out which we can thoroughly recommend. Our team of 4 Brits were picked up at 8.45 am by our guide Miguel in Caleta followed by a couple from Norway at 9am in Nerja. We headed straightaway inland into the mountains for our first stop in Torrox Pueblo. There our walking history tour began as we weaved our way round the streets and the Old Town. We learned about the Arabic village architecture designed to keep out invaders and Almanzor, the great leader of the Moors. We admired the wonderful views straight down to the sea. Then it was on to Competa much further up into the mountains with even more spectacular views for another walking tour to learn about its history and traditions and the importance of donkeys, an absolute necessity for life back then. We had a very welcome break for coffee in Competa at about 12 noon before heading to the 5th generation family-run small bodega whose wines were selected by a group of blind wine tasters for the Spanish King's wedding 20 years ago - showing how special their wines are. Again, much information about the traditional hands-on method of wine production along with the delicious wines to taste and the small shop to browse and select products to buy from. The mountain scenery was spectacular with the almond trees blossoming into pink and white froths and the mimosa trees showing off their yellow bloom. Having become slightly tipsy, our tummies were ready for a delicious 3 course lunch in the village of Sayalonga, with plenty of choice, at about 2.30pm after which we were delivered back to our respective locations, having had a marvellous day out. Miguel was such a great guide, full of historical information (and current day facts!) great fun and a fantastic grasp of the English language. Thankyou Miguel!

We had a wonderful day in Cordoba with Miguel as our guide. He was an extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful guide. He worked hard to give us a taste of the various traditional food experiences. Highly recommend Oletrips as this was our 5th tour in the 2 years we have been visiting Nerja. Thank you.

Would recommend this trip to anyone. Superb views and Miguel our driver/guide was excellent, so knowledgeable on areas history and culture. Lunch in Sayalonga also very good.

Absolutely fantastic trip, would recommend to any one wanting to explore the area around Malaga a little more. Miguel the guid was informative friendly and made sure everyone had the experience described. Learning about the olive oil process and seeing it happen was truly memorable. And with lunch included the whole day was incredible value for money.

I went on this trip on Monday 13th January. It was a fantastic day out with Miguel our driver and guide and another couple who I just met on the day. Miguel was such a nice easy-going fella who was very knowledgeable and good company. The villages we visited were very pretty and architecturally very pleasing. Miguel gave us a lot of very interesting details about the history of the area. The four of us had a lot of laughs also along the way ! All in all, a great day out and very well worth the price. Guided tours are usually of varying quality, but this tour was truly a highlight. First of all, we ended up with two couples from Liverpool, just their presence enhanced the experience. Regarding the guide and the guide's knowledge and ability to deliver interesting and relevant information, it was magnificent. He captured our attention, without being too intense. Just taking us up to the heights on those roads, would make many hesitate, but with a sure hand the guide drove us up in a very pleasant way. The walks through the different villages, how the small-scale wine production is conducted and the wine tasting afterwards, were all an incomparable experience. We are so grateful for this tour and have already thought about the next tour, when visiting Nerja. Thank you so much!

This is a top-notch experience in which I highly recommend!

Interesting and well planned tour with a professional guide with great knowledge about olives and the area. We enjoyed every minute of it! Small group, nice views, tasting olive oil and some good food at a good restaurant with very nice surroundings. Also nice visit to family cottage. Can absolutely recommend!
