Beautiful old lifeboat, wonderful crew, was made to feel comfortable and safe and at ease at once
Was told lots of interesting facts and history about lifeboats, wells next the sea and Dunkirk.
The boat is beautiful, just being on her was a pleasure in its self, with the beautiful views of the quay, and the marsh and along the beach huts, where we was welcomed with a continental breakfast, more like a feast, supplied by beautiful brunches.
Was a chilled relaxing tour, on the sea.You could see how devoted the son(captain) and mother (tour guide)team are for their love of sea, boats and knowledge. And very experienced.
We will definitely be going back different time of year so we can feel the sea breeze and the nature around us in a different season , worth looking on their Facebook page and website as they do different trips, With different refreshments and they do get booked up fast.
Highly recommend anyone to take a trip to sea on this beautiful boat

We did the sunset tour on Wednesday 15th July the people who run this tour are locals who are really well organised and from buying a ticket to getting on to the boat it was faultless.
Dave and Liam took us out - Liam expertly took us out to sea and along the coast of Holkham beach. Dave was so good with telling us about local wildlife and the environment, also loads of information about this beautiful little Dunkirk boat and her history and how she arrived in beautiful Wells. Really great evening totally worth doing if your in Wells - thanks again Curlew

We thoroughly enjoyed our sunset cruise of Wells Harbour. The boat was beautifully restored, it’s back story so exciting and almost melancholy, the guys who run the tour were great, informative, funny and knowledgeable - both are still serving RNLI volunteers and as the cap said Real Norfolk Superheroes - the fish & chip supper was actually a surprise as the listing on Trip Advisor didn’t mention it, but they were perfect! It was a great 2 hour trip, we saw seals and lots of sea birds, we saw a number of retired RNLI craft, the new Life Boat station, CoastWatch, the off shore wind farm and so much more. We would highly recommend the trip and thought it great value for money.

A short trip aboard the beautiful lifeboat Lucy Lavers with 81 years of fascinating history including her part in the Dunkirk Evacuation in 1940. The Skipper Liam is skilled, friendly and well informed. I didn’t have the food offered on some of the trips but it looks delicious. The setting in the historic port of Wells is amazing too- Wells looks great from the water!

Our very welcoming crew (David and Liam) took us on wonderful tour of Wells Harbour providing loads of local information on the way out towards the sand bar. On the way back a wonderful packed lunch was broken out by the beach huts, courtesy of Blakeney Deli. (More than enough for everyone)
One of the passengers jokingly asked about the rum ration and amazingly it was provided for those who wanted it!
On the return trip we learned more about Lucy Lavers and her amazing history along with information about the work of Restore Wooden Boats.
As regular sailors in Wells Harbour, it was great to see it from a different perspective. All in all a brilliant experience and great value for money.
Would fully recommend.

Friendly crew, clean boat. Trip was OK but be advised that you don't actually go beyond the harbour entrance. Having said that the 1.5hr trip went pretty quickly so I guess we were entertained by the two guys on board.
Not sure if the free drink quite makes up for the rather steep ÂŁ30 fare per person and my bum was a little flat by the end as there was no padding on the hard wooden seats. I would have been happier if the 20% donation to the wooden boat preservation society was done per group/booking and not per person as ÂŁ6 x Number of family members can add up to an awful lot of fish 'n' chips.

My daughter booked this for my 60th birthday treat. She said Liam and his team were so helpful through the booking process and in regular contact answering questions and being really helpful!
We had a fantastic trip. Liam and his team were very welcoming and knowledgeable telling us all about the boats history. Picnic provided by Blakeney Deli delicious.
Would definitely recommend to both locals and visitors as such a lovely way to see Wells and the coastline. We will be back!

We loved our boat trip. It was a beautiful late afternoon trip in warm weather. Both the two crew on board were excellent, one captaining the boat and the other commentating. The history of the boat is fascinating, the descriptions of things we were seeing were interesting and the boat itself was amazing to see. It was sturdy and safe and beautiful at the same time. Even in colder weather it would be an interesting hour and a half trip. Seeing Wells from the sea with its colourful boats and interesting buildings was enough, but we also saw wake boarders further out, and of course all the birds. Thank you so much to the crew. This New Zealander visiting family with the dog Monster who came along on the trip with us, really enjoyed it.

On a beautiful sunny morning we were given a warm welcome aboard Lucy Lavers by the friendly crew. We soon set off for a leisurely cruise past the bobbing boats in the harbour and out to sea.
As we journeyed along Liam and Dave shared interesting facts and anecdotes about the area, the boats and the wildlife around us, both speaking with passion, enthusiasm and humour. We saw a seal pup, a spoonbill and lots of various seabirds. With a lovely view back to the eclectic row of beach huts, the sparkling sands and the open sea we felt that life doesn't get much better.
Everything about the cruise was efficient and well organised, Online booking was easy, confirmation and a reminder were sent. Cruise timings were kept and everything was exactly as described. The brunch we had ordered was very tasty and good value and a good variety of drinks were offered.
A unique experience that surpassed our expectations and one that we will return for. Definitely a trip that lifts the spirits and is good for the soul.

Loved this trip, such a beautiful boat lovingly restored and enthusiastically operated. We were warmly greeted in the morning and the crew were knowledgeable and engaging throughout the journey. We also managed to see a seal and a variety of sea birds. Would highly recommend for an interesting sightseeing trip coupled with a touch of nostalgia.
