What an amazing experience, Altezza were superb from the planning stage right through. I cannot believe how professional and caring the guides were, they got us to the top. Big thanks to Rashid, Hamza, Uriol, Linus, Abdullah, the camp master, the cooks, the waiters Ibrahim and Feragi and the whole complement , hope I haven't missed anyone. We took the Lemosho route, it was awe-inspiring with the landscape changing each day. This is an experience that will be emblazoned in my memory forever. The Tanzanian people have big hearts, thanks for sharing your special mountain with us.

Incredible 1st time Safari Trip to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti with wonderful experience thanks to Altezza Travel. All smooth and well organized and always on time with very nice guides. Special thanks to our safari guide Fidelis who is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and always in happy spirit with lots of love for the animal and the places we've visited. He surprised us with an amazing picnic in Serengeti. It was all beyond my expectations. Will do this again in a heartbeat!

Definitely the trip of a lifetime made possible by the superb job of the team from Altezza! All of the pre-trip planning by Aya, our trip coordinator, had us totally prepared for the trek. From our arrival at JRO, transport to and from the airport, hotel accommodations, even a few last minute requests, Aya handled everything to perfection. As for the trek itself, the team of 28 that took the five of us to the summit was fantastic! Our guides were amazing! Bosco, Osman, Urio, Kova, and Zach were our "summit" guides and thanks to their vast expertise, we were able to reach Uhuru peak in very difficult weather conditions! While many other groups turned back, the experience and calm leadership of our team got us to the top! I can't say enough good things about these guides!!! A special shout out also to our camp manager Thomas and our waiter Edward! Outside of our guides, we interacted with these two the most and they made our stay in the camps awesome! Our experience with Altezza was the best and I would highly recommend them for any Kilimanjaro adventure!

We had an amazing kilimanjaro hike and safari tour with Altezza! Our guides were incredible for both the hike and safari tour. Our safari guide Aaron was excellent at spotting the wildlife and was so friendly and knowledgable.

We took a long time choosing a company that will take us to the top of the mountin, the roof of africa, the great kilimanjaro that rises to 5895 m. When you take this kind of decision you have to count few facts: 1. The succes rate reaching the peak. 2. The level of experiens of the guides and crue. 3. The level care of the crue to the climbers. 4. Being top profesional at all . 5. Having the best equipment. 6. Rating and satisfaction. At all of parameters altezza came first so we decided to book with them. Price was not an object but they were prety competitive. I cannot express how happy i am for choosing this company. The people of Tanzanya are nice, but the crue of altezza are pure gold!!! All of them!! We were 15 climbers with crue of 80!!! People. BTW, they don't do more then 15 per team. From the moment the driver of altezza picked us from the airport i knew that we are in good hands. When we arrived at the hotel Doris the team manager greeted us with her bautifull smile and gave us the complete and full explanation about what will be happaning to us for the next 8 days. After that she reviewed our equipment and we were able to rent from them some of the stuff that we were missing. Here is the time to mention that their rental gear is top notch and the best brands. The next morning we met our team. 7 guides and 73 porters and crue members. I don't remember all names of the porters but some of them i remember well. The guides of course are unforgetable. 1. Stanford - Team leader that comanded the whole operation in a most admirable way and made sure that 15 people went up, touched the uhuru peak and came back safely. 2. Ally - the prepy guy, was the leading guide on summit night. The most difficult night and day of all. He kept singing to us during the hard houres to make sure we are not falling asleep while walking. 3. Bachi - big and strong, along with the rest of the guides made sure that we will never miss a step and was allways ready to catch us if we fall. 4. Marwa - happy, happy, happy. The photograph men. Kept us all alive every step of the way. This guy has a genius memory and sings prety good too. 5. Lema - although a quiet one, ones you start talking to him he is a very good conversation person. 6. Kalvin - he might look small at first but he is actually a big big men. 7. Erick - this is the guy that was the first leadind guide and the one who thought us the meaning of pole pole... thank you Ericki. All off them together made a team that made me feel pampared and confident that i'm in the best hands. There are some more names like, david moshi, julius and villford camp managers, pius and douglas camp cheffs and many many others. At some points their are some steeps climbs and the guides use to spread around making sure nobody is falling down or something like that. During the long summit night the were singing to us making sure no one is falling asleep. Well, what can i say? We chose well. Altezza was good to us and a i can defianatly would recomend it on any given time.

We were a group of 9 people successfully reached Mt Kilimanjaro's summit. All communications with Natalie from Altezza were very prompt and informative . Everything went very smoothly from airport transfers to hotel accommodation to gear rentals to the trekking and after Kilimanjaro safari for some of us. I can't say enough about the support team on the Kilimanjaro hike, all 47 of them from guides, porters, chefs etc. Mosha, Goodluck, Godson and Nassouri were an amazing group of guides without them we certainly could not do it . They guided us and set the pace for the trekking and assisted us in anyway they could. The amount of logistics involved to put all the pieces together for a successful trek is staggering but very professionally done by Altezza. I would highly recommend Altezza for anyone interested in climbing Kilimanjaro or going on a Safari in Tanzania.

On August 5th I summit Kilimanjaro. Our group was comprised of 7 girlfriends originally from USA, Mexico and Greece celebrating our 45th birthday. I cannot say enough about how absolutely AMAZING Altezza is! We planned our trip for about 10 months and selected them based on the Tripadvisor reviews. A couple months before our trip, separately friends of friends had used the same company. This further reassured our choice. Leissan and the team in Arusha are running a very professional organization with incredible attention and care for their customers. We selected the VIP package, and I would do it all over again. Their team is over the top superb. At all times, our group felt confident we were in the hands of professionals and taken good care of; twice a day we had medical checkups and Diamox was supplied based on our needs and progress. The guides are very knowledgeable and shared on various occasions that Altezza was a great employer. They took the time to understand our strengthens and weaknesses to make sure 100% of our group would summit. And we did! The team that supported our group was also incredible. The food was delicious with multiple options every meal. Altezza has the most modern and high-end camping equipment, and their rental gear was all top of the line. Even our guides knowledge of the flora and fauna was extensive. We enjoyed Teatime at the most picturesque spots every day and felt truly like royals during our hike. A shout out to our guides Viktor, Jackson, Davide, and all the staff who was part of our excursion. You made this experience a memorable one for all of us. Thank you!

Our visit to Ngorongoro crater was the icing on the cake after our Kilimanjaro Climb. From the very beginning Sophie was the most patient and understanding representative I have ever worked with. We were able to tailor our journey based on our needs and time constraints, and it couldn't have been more perfect! Our stay at Melia Ngorongoro Lodge was spectacular--5 star service all the way around. THE best place to stay at the crater. We were only able to spend one day in the crater but Anold our game driver was spectacular. We were picked up early from our hotel, enjoyed a 5 star lunch at the hippo pool and then more exploring in the crater. Anold was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and overall fantastic host in this truly remarkable place. Julia also was responsive to our needs and questions while at the crater. The day after our safari Anold drove us back to Arusha where we had a wonderful lunch before he dropped us at the airport for our flight back home. This was the experience of a lifetime, we were sad it had to be so short, but look forward to bringing our families back here soon!

Altezza team really supports the hikers.They want us to succeed. Many times I felt like quitting especially when the altitude was >5000 m , but the team could see some thing in me and wanted me to keep pushing. That constant encouragement made my summit possible! The team lead Albert, and other guides, Emmanuel, Jackson, Honest, they were all amazing! The accommodations were comfortable, food was excellent, health check twice a day was very reassuring. My main goal when selecting Altezza was that i should return back safe and they definitely delivered. Highly recommend this team and many thanks.

Everything was just perfect. Thanks to Irina, our itinerary was very well organised, every detail was taken care of. Upon arrival, we were given very nice welcome gifts, and we stayed in contact through the whole trip. We had a chance to have the great safari guide, Hussein. Professional, full of knowledge of animals, passionate of his work. He gave us the best possible sighting and unforgettable memories, tracking the rarest of the animals. We were able to enjoy leopard chilling in the tree in Ngorongoro crater, lions feeding and playing with their cubs, a cheetah trying to avoid a group of lions, and incredible wildebeests' river crossing in Serengeti. It was definitely the trip of a lifetime. We will definitely recommend Altezza Travel and please, ask for Hussein! He is the best safari guide ever.

Kilimanjaro has been on my bucket list for the last year or so. However, I was extremely nervous about setting forth the journey being a solo traveller. With so many options and providers it was important to make the right decision in choosing a crew that will make this trip not just successful but safe as well. A friend recommended Altezza and I must say that it was one of the best decisions I made in my overall planning. The crew were fantastic whether that be the guides, supporting guides, porters or planning team. I received complete details of my itenary, they were spot on in terms of execution and overall delivered an amazing experience. A big thank you to my guides George, Exoud, Paul, Mmari and the rest of Albert's crew. Not only were they particular about our safety but also very extremely supportive throughout the journey. There were times I thought I'd give up with the exhaustion and strain of the altitude, trails, weather etc but the guides would watch over you like angels and made sure that our safety was priority followed by a successful summit experience. They constantly motivated us and supported in every possible way they could. Despite many challenging conditions and exhaustion, I felt a warmth of support from them at every step of the way. From arrival in Tanzania at a luxury hotel to the 6 day safari all details were without any complication. We worked primarily with an associate (Victoria) to complete planing with prompt responses to many questions. Our guide (Khalid) was exceptional and could not only get you to the animal sittings but anticipate animal movements for best photos. We are seasoned travellers and I have never taken so many photos. Accommodations and meals at each of our destinations were exceptional (included two different tent camps and another luxury hotel). We can see why Altezza is so highly rated by travelers.

Fantastic trip . Superb organization and flawless execution . A super knowledgeable guide . All the accommodations were of very high standard with great staff and high quality food and service. We recently completed a 9-day custom safari with Altezza Travel, visiting Lake Natron, Serengeti, Lake Manyara, and Ngorongoro Crater, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From start to finish, the trip was impeccably organized. Communication from the Altezza team was seamless from the moment we began planning until the day we were dropped off at the airport, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment of our adventure. The wildlife sightings were simply extraordinary. We were fortunate to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, wildebeests, Cape buffalo, lions and so much more—including a lion after she triumphantly wrestled a wildebeest in the mud, a cheetah live hunt, and precious leopard cubs. Our guide, Cathbert, was kind, thoughtful, and SO knowledgeable about the wildlife, plants, terrain, history and peoples. Thanks to his expertise, every game drive was filled with awe and wonder. We always felt safe and cared for. We appreciated his great driving too! We also had the privilege of meeting members of the Maasai tribe, and one of the highlights was hiking to a waterfall at Lake Natron with a local Maasai guide. It was a unique cultural experience that added depth to our safari. Every place we stayed - including the tented lodges – exceeded our expectations in comfort and luxury. We loved the food and ate too much! The staff everywhere we stayed was warm, attentive, and professional. Altezza delivered the safari of a lifetime!d (My husband successfully completed the Mt. Kilimanjaro climb with Altezza; like our safari, his expectations were exceeded!) P.S. Our only regrets are that we didn't bring a "real" camera with a zoom lense and our fancy Swarovski binoculars.
