What to Expect
As the largest country in East Africa, and probably one of the oldest continuously populated areas in the world, Tanzania is a country like no other! You can spend a relaxing time walking along world class white sand beaches in Zanzibar, then 4 wheel over to the Serengeti and spot the cast of the Lion King in their natural habitat while connecting ancient Maasai warriors, or challenge yourself to new heights as you trek up the famous Mount Kilimanjaro!

The Lemosho route is one of the newer routes on the mountain, and a superb choice for your climb. It is our preferred route due to its ideal balance of low traffic, beautiful scenery and a high summit success rate.

The route approaches Mount Kilimanjaro from the west, beginning with a long drive from Moshi to Londorossi Gate. From there, the first two days are spent trekking through the rainforest to Shira Ridge.

Unlike the popular Machame route, which simply intersects the Shira Plateau, the Lemosho route crosses the entirety of the plain from west to east in a pleasant, relatively flat hike.

An added bonus is that climbers will encounter low traffic until the route joins the Machame route. Afterwards, Lemosho follows the same route through Lava Tower, Barranco and Barafu, known as the southern circuit.

Descent is made via the Mweka route.Lemosho is considered the most scenic route on Kilimanjaro, and grants panoramic vistas on various sides of the mountain. Thus, Lemosho is highly recommended.

My Voyage Back!
I'm originally from Ghana, but have not been there in a while. I booked my flight with Voyageback and it was a lot more affordable than with other booking companies. While in Ghana, I wanted to do some touristy things so I booked a few excursions with Voyageback and I must say that they were amazing! I visited Cape Coast and Elmina Castles, and discovered a lot about the slave trade. I also did a city tour in Accra and discovered more about my country of birth than I ever thought I could. I highly recommend taking your next trip with Voyageback.

Exciting trip!
We had no idea what to look forward to on this trip. My sister had just done the Matriclan DNA Test from African Ancestry and Nigeria was the largest percentage we got on the list. So we decided to visit Nigeria. This trip turned out to be an adventure, at the end of the trip we almost didn’t want to leave. From the pick up at the Airport, the ride to our hotel and the welcome dinner at Sheraton Hotel (I low key didn’t know there was such amazing food), plus they had live music! The team worked tirelessly to ensure we were well taken care of. Our guide Samson and driver Papin - They were friendly, funny, and they really made the trip for us. The Badagry Tour was very informative, we got to see Slave Barraccoons, the chains that were used back in the day to hold slaves. We went to the point of no return, and saw first hand the treatment of our fore fathers. We also went to Ile Ife and Olumo Rock. These locations were mind blowing. You learn about these places in books, and everything seemed to come to life. From the palace of the Ooni of Ife, to the Oranmiyan staff, and all the priests clad in white, this was definitely worth visiting. The independence festivities were so much fun. We went to the beach on a yacht, had an awesome night party at Quilox Night Club. We also went to the Lekki Conservation Center, in fact I don’t think we could list all the attractions. You have to take this trip. Hotels: Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been to Hotels in Virgina, honestly the hotel we stayed at could easily pass for a 4 star hotel out here.

We did the monthly Nigerian historical and cultural tour and visited unfogettable places like Badagry & National museum
Our trip was close to the holidays so we arrived to meet Nigeria in a festive mood.We visited so many places of interest both indoor and outdoor. In addition to the previously mentioned attractions, we also went to the national arts theater,Nike gallery and Lekki beach resort. All this was achieved with a reasonable price point. Voyage back provided great customer service by checking naking our settling in smooth and checking in to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. I would recommend them to friends and family.Bonus tip: Make sure you get souvenirs!!
