Begin your day of adventure with convenient hotel pickup around 8:30am. With your group, climb into a safari-style truck and take off into the Dominican countryside, bound for the zipline facility. The ride takes about 45 minutes. Listen to the zipline guides as they give a safety briefing and orientation, then get fitted for your helmet and harness. Test out your skills on a practice line, then climb to the first platform and take off. Zoom down 12 lines stretched between 18 platforms in the forest canopy. After your zipline adventure, continue to the Coconut House, where you'll learn how coconut oil is produced and taste some local products such as cacao, coffee, and tropical fruits. Then, take a guide tour of Monkeyland, a sanctuary run by a Canadian couple with more than 35 years of experience working with animals. Watch the squirrel monkeys play and feed in a 5-acre (2-hectare) enclosure. Refuel with a traditional Dominican buffet at the Mountain Ranch before returning to Punta Cana for drop-off.

I don't remember platform 1 being very high. Based upon the map, that I took a picture of, it looks like lines 1-4 can be done with out going to the ground to walk to the next platform. Between 5 an 6 there is some walking and 7 to 8. The tallest platform which I think was for zipline number 9 is probably 40-45 feet of stairs and ramps to walk up, plus if I am remembering correctly the walk to the platform was a good distance. Also if I am remembering correctly the exit after line 8 was a good walk, up slopes, away from the end of the zipline. No one rushed us through the ziplines, so taking it slower might make it work for you, others will pass you if you are not moving as fast as they want.
