Wow is all I can say!! This was an ADVENTURE!! We LOVED it!! The zip lining was one of the most amazing experiences. We will never forget it!!! Our drive and guide was George and we loved him also. He was fantastic!!!! The tubing was intense but such a blast. The hot springs were beautiful even in the rain. This is a MUST DO excursion!!!

This was a great way to do many adventures. It was well planned. We started on horses and that was a nice walk through the woods. The tubing was pretty extreme! The guides are there to help but expect to flip over on some rapids!! The zip lining was my favorite. All the people working are very helpful and knowledgeable. The views were incredible and it was a great way to experience Costa Rica!

This was such a wonderful experience! We did the horseback riding, tubing, and zip lining tour, and we had the best time. The staff did a wonderful job making us feel safe and taken care of the entire time. The lunch was also very delicious. Would definitely go back! And I highly recommend staying at the hotel -- it was so nice to be able to go back to the room between events.

The all day adventure pass was the best deal! Fio at the front desk was amazing and took care of us! Our family of four loved the waterfall canyoning tour we added to the pass, tubing and ziplining were both such a great experience. Oliver, David, Andy, Randall, Mario and Pablo were our guides, they are all so friendly and make the experience so much fun! We also bought the photo package which captured all of adventures. Thank you Christian, Jeffrey and Harold! The hotel is also the best choice to stay so close to the national park without the need for shuttles while exploring the waterfalls and hot springs! Big, clean rooms with the most beautiful scenery. Pura Vida!

The zip lines are great here through the canyon it’s beautiful. I highly recommended the tubing. I’ve actually done this a few times with friends and family and love it every time. Horseback riding I can pass on, it’s hot, the horses are hot etc. but the waterfall you go to is pretty cool.

I wanted to give this day and all the adventures 5 stars as there were several pieces that were indeed 5 stars! The guides for the tubing and zip lines are incredible! Knowledgable, patient, friendly and made you feel very comfortable and safe, coming from Boulder, Colorado I can say they use solid equipment. We felt very safe on both of those activities. The horse back riding however was not well coordinated, there was very little instruction and not much time spent on checking that everyone was safely mounted. Noone knew what to do if a horse went rogue which did happen. The environment is very pretty though I had hoped for more colorful landscaping. The HotSprings are a bit over hyped, and the Mud Bath is a definite "pass". The food at lunch was basic though there were good choices for a variety of tastes. The most unfortunate part was you get mixed information from staff, some say do not bring anything with you, no camera, no phone, no snacks etc. This was not the case as several other people had their phones, Go Pros and cameras to capture their experiences. It was upsetting that the only photos you could get of your day is by purchasing them from the dedicated photographers for $50-$60 US dollars. That actually would have been ok if you were allowed to preview your photos (they do show you some from one activity) but if you do not like those they pretty much move on to the next person who is willing to pay sight unseen. All in all it is worth the price to do the all day adventure.

A great way to have a full day of adventure with multiple fun activities! At the end of the day, as a family, we couldn't agree on whether we loved horse riding, or tubing, or zip lining the most and that's a great thing! This was the best value of money for us on our one-week trip to Costa Rica! The lunch was fresh and tasty, and our kids who have gluten allergies could pretty much eat everything on the menu. The pictures were great, and a great value as well.

Hacienda Guachipelin adventure combo packs a punch with an all day and busy schedule. The river tubing was our fave. They run a tight ship so ensure you are on time! The only complaint is we wish the groups were smaller. Highly recommend adding this to your CR trip!

The horseback riding was just okay. The guides never really interacted and the horses kind of did their own thing and my party was split up. Seemed a bit unorganized. The tubing was great. I unfortunately lost my GoPro along the way but that was my fault. Lunch was a buffet and was fantastic. Zip line was good except for the fact that it seemed super rushed which made it a bit uncomfortable and hard to take pictures and enjoy what we were doing more. Seemed like photos were discouraged because they were trying to get take their own photos of us to get you to purchase the photo package. After all that we were on our own for the waterfall and hot springs. Waterfall was $10 extra and was cool but there was a security guard at the fall that did not want us exploring. The hot springs were a bit dirty and water was not the temperatures that were posted. It went from warm (posted sign said 104) to scalding hot (113). It would have been great to have an in between. Most of my complaints are minor but worth noting. I think it was a great time overall.

Eighteen winners of a sales contest traveled to Costa Rica for a week. We had a great time on the tour! A full day of fun in the sun. The tour crew was the best of the best! Safety conscious, fun and very personable! The ziplining area was gorgeous while thrilling to fly over the trees and down the beautiful canyon where the river flows. The time spent ziplining was just right! The horseback riding was slow and low key. The horses were a delight and waterfalls beautiful! The hot pools and mud bath were fun even if it was 98 degrees and the hot pools were 98-104 degrees! The mud bath isn't really a "bath", but smearing mud all over yourself was a new experience. The river was refreshing to cool off in. The lunch buffet was good-get there early to avoid the lines. Our tour guide gave us great tips, historical information and provided much needed cold water. We highly recommend this adventure and buy the photo package! They capture all of the fun for you.

We did an adventure day. Did not stay at the hotel. The adventure day was great. We started with horse rides. Slow and not too long. Then Tubing. The water was great. our trip was cut a little short due to bee swarm. The guides efficiently took us on a short hike to the finish line. We love hiking, so this was also fun. Funny since we were wearing life jackets and helmets. The buffet lunch was plenitfu.l Our friend was looking forward to the chocolate lava cakes but they did not have them that day. They did have pineapple in milk. We were skeptical, but it was good, try it if you can. After lunch was zip lining. I had never done this. it was fun. The team kept busy securing us and sending us off. Then on to the hot springs and mud bath. Lastly we added on the waterfall. So sweet.

Can’t say enough great things about this experience. Amazing value: horse back riding, river tubing, zip lining, hot springs and great local lunch. Staff are fantastic, friendly, efficient and very safety conscious. We have been travelling for twenty years and this is the BEST tour we’ve done, hands down.

This was a great start to our family trip. I felt like the zip lines were family friendly and fun. Staff was great. Zipping down the canyon over the river was very memorable. Horses were lively, mine wanting to be out front. The tubing was a blast! Very fun and a long run. We stayed at Hacienda Gatchipelin so we drove to the big waterfall after lunch, open to guests. So worth it! Then we ended with the hot springs with the group mostly departing so we had plenty of room. So glad we did the whole day tour.

this was my first time zip lining and i was really afraid. but the professional staff welcomed you every step of the way, ensured your safety and made the experience thrilling and yet pleasant

Wow, what an experience! The spectacular setting (in a canyon with a river below, within a forest) makes this a must-do if you are in the area. Luis and his team were professional, patient, and put safety first. We booked the 3pm slot which luckily turned out to be a small group of four, which means that we got a private experience. The tour started with zip lining over the forest canopy and then into the canyon. Within the canyon we did the rappel, rope swing, natural rock climb, and more zip lines, ending with walking a hanging bridge. Throughout, Luis and his team were friendly, calm, attentive to our safety, and explained and reminded us what to do. One person in the group who is a rock climber said that this is one of the best setting he has ever had for ziplining. Excellent, highly recommended!
