We were looking for something fun to do in Malibu and came across this amazing mountain bike adventure. Jason was very focused on keeping us safe and ensuring we had a great experience. The trails are awesome and the views are unbelievable. Would for sure repeat this ride if we were in the area again. Cannot recommend it enough!

This experience was EVERYTHING! Hands down five stars. My husband and I were spending our anniversary in Santa Monica and wanted some fun. It was all new to us which is why we appreciated Jason so much! He was seriously concerned about our safety, but that never got in the way of our fun. Patient, personable, and entertaining are just a few ways to describe him. He went above and beyond from the first moment we talked until the time we left. The bikes were top tier and in great shape. The directions were clear throughout the ride and I felt confident we booked the right trip. The only issue was not having enough time to book another tour with LifeRush Adventures. But we sure will be back!

Such an amazing experience with Jason. Firstly really good communication before on where to meet, and he was there waiting for us with the bikes. These were awesome - clearly well used, but in such good condition and very good models (not just cheap ones!). Jason went through how to use the bikes and set us up with all the safety equipment we needed, and then we were off. Jason was great, showing us loads of things and taking photos and videos while we cycled. He made sure that each of us were happy, from the aged parents to the excitable teenagers. Plenty of stops when we needed to, and views to die for. I'd definitely look to do something like this again, and would seek Jason out as he was just so cool. Thank you!

What an epic experience, Just the workout needed after two & half weeks doing Route 66! Jason was an awesome host, taking lots of pictures & videos whilst on the go catching a most memorable event! If we had the time we’d love to have done more tours on offer! Thank you very much! 👌😎

This tour was adventurous and amazing. We were all first timers, our guide was great, made sure we were having fun and staying safe on the bikes. And of course the views were wow.

I booked an intermediate tour and was impressed with Jason's pre-ride evaluation and subsequent route selection. In the UK I ride red trails and these compared well. I think my performance may have been enhanced by the quality of the bikes and the weather. Thanks Jason and Diego for the trip. If I can I'll go again.

Fun adventure for a family of five with teenagers ages 14, 16 & 18. The views were beautiful and the ride was super fun especially for the kids. The e-bikes were perfect for the dirt path and easy to use. Jason & Diego were professional and experienced tour guides. They took amazing photos of our family. We definitely recommend this fun tour!

My husband, brother and I all agreed that this emtb tour was one of the highlights from our trip while in Cali. It was definitely worth it to book a tour. Jason and Ben are great guides and really went above and beyond for us. While on my way to our meetup point (~11 mins away), I punctured my front tire on my car and was stuck waiting for road assistance to come out. I called Jason to inform him that we wouldn't make it. He immediately volunteered to meet us and to replace the tire for us. I'm forever grateful to Jason and Ben for going out of their way to assist us. They're good people and just a blast to ride with. Jason and Ben both knew the trail (and surrounding trails) really well and helped us navigate through it with ease. I definitely recommend doing a tour with LifeRush. You won't regret it and will be smiling ear to ear the entire time you're on the trail

While we had fun and the assistant tour guides Ben and Diego were patient and helpful, the main guide Jason had no empathy or patience for the few inexperienced riders in our group. He was condescending, rude and a downright jerk to people despite telling all that we could ride at our pace and just have fun. Jason rode ahead of everyone with his dog and yelled back instructions that maybe the one person behind him could hear. He berated people before the tour even began for looking away for even a second. He almost kicked someone out when first starting the ride (despite starting on a hill)… two people crashed (one into the bushes off the edge of the mountain and one trying to help her), and just stood on his bike 100 yards ahead and yelled for people to hurry up… he never moved to check on anyone … luckily his assistant Diego helped all and was very empathetic despite Jason’s yelling. Diego was great, as was Ben who aided another slower rider. While we did have some fun (thus the second star), Jason did not let us bring cameras, took no scenic shots (most pics of his dog on a rock, who looked miserable and not happy to be there). If you are comfortable with e mountain bikes and need no instruction or help, it could be fun for you … or just wait until Diego and Ben eventually get sick of Jason. Jason, if you are reading this, show some empathy, care about the safety and health of your riders, advise of a skill level required and don’t accept first timers, or just stay out of it and let your assistants go on the rides.

We booked this experience for the three of us: two adults and a teenager. It is an amazing outdoor experience for anyone who loves hiking, nature, adrenaline. It’s definitely not a plain vanilla tour. Jason is a professional mountain biker and a great coach! He keeps fun and engaging the entire trip and he comes with the gear and professional electric bikes. We loved the bouldering and the caves tour. If you’re in LA this summer, it’s a must to try. Wear boots or athletic shoes.

This was our first experience in Malibu with LifeRush Adventures. It moved us emotionally and mentally, and we certainly enjoyed the comfort of nature views, rock formations, clouds, sun, mountains, and even the little bunny rabbits crossing our path. Jason was fantastic! His attention to detail, the desire to look out for our safety, and the technical exploration of the terrain brought us an escape like no other. In our 50s, it didn't matter; the electric bikes and Jason's coaching helped us navigate the elevations and every part of the path. The best experience I did my first drop jump learned how to maneuver and manage the trail to maximize joy and maintain safety. This first e bike tour has made me want to really invest in this sport and I will definitely be booking with Rush again.

We did the Malibu Overlook backbone trail. It was our first time on electric bikes and my wife's first time mountain biking. There was a bit of a learning curve with the functionality of the bikes, but we got through that quickly. Jason took great care to make my wife comfortable with the trail, as it was more challenging than what she was accustomed to. The power and agility of the bikes made the steep climbs fun and easy for both of us Additionally, she could descend at her own speed while Jason and I could zoom down the "no break" zones. Near the end, we put the bikes down while Jason and I did a great rock scramble. We had a lot of fun and got to ride some bikes that we would never buy for ourselves.
