We had a great time on our tour with Barb. She was knowledgeable about the area and great fun. The bikes were easy to use and made the whole trip a breeze. Highly recommend doing this tour, it’s a great way to explore the area and learn about some hidden history that you’d otherwise never know.

Fun bike tour

Barb and Molly are wonderful. Molly was our tour guide for the day. It was just a small tour with my husband and me. We biked around Santa Monica beach and Venice beach area and learnt some great fun acts about those places. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice chill bike tour with a friendly staff.

Fun Experience, Would Do It Again!

Due to covid, we had to change our original plans to celebrate our anniversary. We decided to stay close to home and after seeing the positive reviews for Pedal or Not, we booked a tour. Although we both are born/raised in LA, doing this tour was so much. We learned about things about our city we never knew and even explored some areas that we've only ever quickly driven by (e.g. the Venice canals). It's also the perfect activity to do during a time like covid. Biking is socially distanced already by nature and wearing masks while riding was not an issue for us. The fact that the bikes were electric (you can switch between manual and electric at anytime) made the experience that much more fun. We want to do it again with our kids and plan to book again. Thanks to our tour guide Barb for a memorable, fun experience!

There is no marketing department or budget for 2020 due to Covid. You hit many of the points I would like to share with future riders. I so glad you decided to be “tourists in your own town”. It can be a blast. Being the beach cities for Hollywood, & L.A., these areas of Santa Monica & Venice are full of pop culture and fun stories that we love to share, and beautiful places like the canals you mentioned. We are proud to be part of the slow and careful reopening and are focused on your safety and ours. So glad you loved the bikes they are a big hit for riders. MUST DO ELECTRIC BIKE TOUR OF Santa Monica AND VENICE

We had a fantastic private tour with Barb yesterday (three of us - a 62 year old and two 15 year olds). Lots to enjoy for all of us - Barb is a fount of knowledge and it was really fun and interesting. Highly highly recommend this as a way to get to know more about Santa Monica, Venice, history, architecture, skateboarding, Muscle Beach (old and new) and current goings on.

This bike tour was (by far!) our favorite thing of the weekend. Barb is great, really knows the area, and so many bits and pieces of the history. She's super fun, laid back, and just a great guide! HIGHLY recommend this bike tour. (We technically signed up for a small group, but ended up being the only 2 on the tour, lucky us).

Barb is the best! The tour was beautiful and very informative. She mentions everything from Marilyn Monroe to machine gun Kelly. The graffiti in Venice is awesome and the beach in Santa Monica is picture perfect. Learned a lot and saw even more! Definitely make time for this tour.

I had so much fun on this bike tour!!!
I didn’t realize how much I would learn about the area on a bike tour! All the history and little tid bits about the area. I liked going first to Santa Monica and then to Venice beach. I really feel like I know the area well now. The bike was so much fun and really easy to ride. Clearly Barb loves what she does and has a unique tour. I highly recommend this!

A wonderful bike tour!

My husband & I did this fun bike tour during Covid, and what a treat it was to have Barb as our guide! Barb had our bikes set up out front, all sanitized & ready to roll! She showed us how to work the electric throttle on the bikes, which turned out to be amazing! We used it occasionally when we needed a break from pedaling. Along the lovely, spacious, ocean bike path, we stopped at intervals to learn the history of many fun movie/TV/Pop culture facts. We never realized how many Pop culture references were born in that exact area! Barb is fun, personable, and kept a steady, easy pace throughout the ride. We called our kids right afterwards to tell them all about it! Would definitely recommend this tour at any time---and what a safe break it was during Covid!

What a great experience! First time on an electric bike and I loved it. Pedaled most of the time, but love the electric part too. Barb was AWESOME! She was very informative about the areas we toured and information was geared for all ages. Highly recommend this tour.

We rode with Barb as part of our company team offsite and it was a highlight of the entire week! Filled with fun historical facts, great directions, and a few great stops along the way. Barb took care of our 8 person group with ease. Would highly recommend.
