What to Expect

This 3-hour food tour kicks off with a bang at 1pm in the stunning lobby of the Indigo Hotel situated in the new Union Station neighborhood. After a warm welcome and a brief introduction to the group, your adventurous local guide will share the lineup of the five exceptional tastings scheduled for the afternoon.

The tour begins as you savor delectable wood fired creations from Denver’s critically acclaimed modern-day saloon. Here, you’ll travel back in time as your guide brings to life the rich history of Denver’s gold rush days and hear fascinating stories from the golden age of the railroad.  At each tasting you’ll experience an insider's view of how the chefs and owners are elevating the food culture in Denver. In addition you’ll learn about their positive impacts within the community #Denverlikealocal.

Your flavor journey continues as we stroll toward Union Station. Next, you’ll relish in the flavors of the south. Southern comfort food is all the rage in Denver right now and you’ll indulge at the hottest SoCo spot in LoDo. With two tastings under your belt, we’ll mosey our way into Union Station and gain insight on our iconic landmark. As you walk to the next tasting your savvy local guide will point out must visit hot spots and share fascinating history of Denver’s oldest neighborhood.

Your food adventure continues as you feast upon the premier New American cuisine in the city. We wrap up the afternoon with our final two venues, where we share a fresh perspective on locally sourced organic products, and learn about the local farmers and ranchers in our community. The LoDo Food Tour is a fun filled flavor journey throughout lower downtown that will leave you full of delicious food, and full of local knowledge. We can can’t wait to meet you!

When we arrived for the tour the guide asked about food preferences and allergies. There may be a place for comments on the tour registration page too.
