Vail Guided Flyfishing Tour
US$355.00
Overview
Discover the best fishing spots throughout the Vail Valley on this private, 4-hour, fly fishing expedition. Explore the Blue River, Colorado River, Eagle River or Gore Creek with the help of a professional guide. Learn the proper techniques for fly fishing and how to pick the right flies on this walk and wade trip. Then prepare to catch the trout of a lifetime amidst a backdrop of spectacular Colorado scenery and wildlife. It’s an unforgettable experience for both the novice and experienced angler alike.
What to Expect
Departing from either Vail or Minturn, Colorado, this tour is the perfect opportunity to experience the beautiful Colorado scenery and your flyfishing guides are top notch professionals. Wade fishing, as opposed to float fishing, allows more hands-on instruction from your guide, since he or she doesn’t have to row a boat simultaneously.

Your guides fish (primarily but not exclusively) the Blue River, Colorado River, Eagle River and Gore Creek and have exclusive access to the best 4-mile stretch of river in the Vail Valley. Your target species on this trip will be Rainbows, Browns, Cutthroat and Brook Trout!

Could not have had a better first experience fly fishing!!!

I can not say enough good things about Minturn Anglers. We did 2 half day trips with them during our week in Vail. Scott was our guide both times and he taught us way more than I expected in those two days. He also kept...More

Depending on where are you fish, you might find a spot where you wade in water that’s only 1 foot deep and cast out to more current, but there definitely are rocks in the water and it can be slippery. If balance is an issue... More
