- shawnp5440 contributionsBest sunset cruise experience in ClearwaterThe crew was very friendly, laid back, and made sure everyone had a great experience. We saw lots of dolphins and the captain sped the boat up in time to have the dolphins jump in the wake of the boat forever. We had an awesome view of the sunset in the gulf and the champagne toast at sunset was a great touch. Other cruises are packed elbow to elbow and too crowded. This cruise allows you plenty of space to move around and have great views. Highly recommend these guys.Written 10 November 2023
- 623delaneym0 contributionsHighly recommend!!!We had so much fun on the boat cruise! The captains were fantastic, so friendly and funny! The sunset was beautiful and getting to see so many dolphins was a nice bonus! I would definitely come backWritten 1 May 2023
- N8730GOjuliad0 contributionsAmazing sunset cruiseSuper friendly and personable staff, made great connections, this is not a dolphin cruise and they still went out of their way to have us see dolphins!!Written 7 January 2023
- Jorge S0 contributionsDescription a little bit exageratedIt described a stop in an island but it was a sandbar. To do anything else than snorkel was absurd... there was no space, no shade and the snorkel itself wasn't very good. The trip otherwise was nice and entertaining.Written 15 October 2022

This was our first ever sunset cruise. I wasn’t sure what to expect. Jordan and Tracy were amazing. They had drinks for sale that were super cheap and they also gave you a complementary glass of champagne to toast the sunset to which is awesome!! We saw dolphins several times and the two hosts made sure that everyone was able to see the dolphins. Very clean boat and very spacious. Definitely make sure to get there early to get the seat of your choice. We sat on the lower level which I believe was better than you were put closer to the dolphins and still had absolutely amazing reviews. There is a bathroom on board and the hosts are very knowledgeable about the boat if you have any questions. Would definitely recommend and ended up booking two days in a row while we were there!

My family and I went on this sunset cruise with Tracy and Allison. They both were very friendly and personable Captains of the boat. They pointed out areas of interest in Clearwater Bay, made sure everyone had the chance to see dolphins whenever they were spotted by anyone on the boat, went to calmer areas of water whenever we encountered larger waves, and made sure everyone got to see the beautiful sunset. We had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend this cruise! Thank you Tracy and Allison!

Captains Pete and Tim were awesome! We had a beautiful evening for a sunset cruise and saw the most gorgeous sunset!!! We even got to see the green flash! In addition we saw multiple dolphins diving, flipping, jumping, and playing in the wake from our boat and the other boats around us! It was so cool! It was a wonderful evening. Both the captains shared some interesting stories of the Clearwater area, told some jokes and played great music! We ended the evening with a champagne toast at sunset. Such a great way to celebrate! I highly recommend this sunset cruise. It was fantastic!

Over the years my family and I have taken several sunset cruises from Clearwater and have enjoyed them all, However the best by far was tonight trip on ‘The Orion’ with Captain Tracy and her crew mate Hank.
They both made my family and I very welcome on board what was an amazing boat.
I’m disabled and Hank ensured that I got on and off safely.
Out in the bay it felt like Captain Tracy went out of her way to find the dolphins and sped the boat up to encourage them to swim in the surf. Several times she slowed the boat so that everyone could get a great look at these beautiful creatures in their own habitat.
There were drinks to purchase for a reasonable price and we had complementary champagne at sunset.
This trip is very well priced compared to other boat trips in Clearwater and I’m my opinion the best.
Thanks Captain Tracy and Hank for a wonderful evening. Will definitely be back again.

There are around 4 sunset cruises in Clearwater Beach, but one the them is a floating Tiki Bar that barely looks like it floats, another looks like a pirate ship, which might have been good if we had little kids with us, another is a green very touristy-looking boat that looks to me like being on a local city bus packed in like sardines, and then there is this one. So glad we picked this one. Captain Good is an Air Force veteran, and he handles the navigation and narration upstairs while his shipmate Hank handles the bottom floor. The boat was awesome, the champagne toast is nice, and we had a great time learning about the intercostal and the adjacent properties waterfront. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful time my friends and I had on this sunset cruise. The crew was so helpful, anything we needed they took care of us. We Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a similar cruise to watch the sunset and enjoy the night. Also Captain Pete is literally the coolest guy I’ve ever met!

Six of us picked this tour mainly because we wanted more of a chance to see dolphins or manatees. Other tours started later and ended later.
We had a great experience with our captain, Pete and mate Will. The tour was more than a boat ride, we also got a free comedy show from Pete. His narrative of some the local landmarks, life around Clearwater added so much to the tour. This tour was one of our biggest highlights to our stay in Clearwater. I recommend this tour highly.

We started out with about 20 people on a boat that could definitely be used for deep sea fishing or diving. This wasn't narrated, iteft you to enjoy the waves, dolphins and skyline without incessant chatter. Our Captain was Seth and first mate, Arthur.
The dolphins were out to play and Capt. Seth gave them every reason to tag a long. He circled around to create waves which the dolphins delightfully play as you're going along.
The sun was a huge simmering orange up in the sky. We sailed around quite a distance on the Gulf as the sun slowly slid to the horizon and disappeared. The colors of the sky were gorgeous. Multiple sea crafts came out as the sun got closer. The photo of the horizon shows a pirate ship passing along at just the right time.
Keep in mind that this excursion is a little less touristy. We went away from Clearwater marina to catch the boat as another boat launch pretty close. If you don't have a car, consider this in your plans.
Arthur get that tip part up to snuff. You gave us a great time, remind folks that you work for tips, really! 😀

Tracy and Tim were awesome on our evening cruise from the moment we arrived until the time we docked. Both were super friendly and attentive to the passengers. The Champagne Toast at Sunset was a great part of the experience. A variety of beverages were available for purchase. During the cruise, we got to see amazing views of the coastline and sunset. I loved the tidbits about the homes, celebrities, and local stories. On our cruise, there were some "party-goers" upstairs but Tim and Tracy did an amazing job with keeping safe and orderly so they didn't interfere with the experience for the rest of us. My husband and I were looking for something fun to do that we could get the Clearwater experience even though we were on a tight time frame and this was exactly what we were looking for.

We thoroughly enjoyed our sunset cruise with Captain Tracy and First Mate Will. It was a smooth ride with Captain Tracy at the helm. We enjoyed the spots she took us to including several locations where the dolphins were in abundance and active. First Mate Will was very knowledgeable and provided an entertaining narration about the lovely homes along the shore. It was a beautiful sunset complete with a champagne toast. We would definitely come back for another sunset cruise with these two leading the way.

The ticket was 35 dollars. I did not see anything that listed an age requirement when we reserved, but I would check to be sure. There were teens and it looked liked family groups so it was not adults only. They did an amazing job.
