Zoo Miami is a must see!
Amazing zoo experience for the whole family! The membership is definitely recommended as more than one day is needed to experience everything also you get to skip the ticket line and have park discounts. We plan on renting the family bike the next time we visit as none were available unless you had a reservation. To be fair, it was a busy holiday weekend.

Family fun
Bring your sunscreen and your walking shoes, this zoo requires lots of walking. I also recommend swimsuits for the little ones. There are a couple nice splash pad areas great for a quick cool off. The exhibits are beautiful and there’s plenty of shade and benches to sit and enjoy them.

It has been a very enjoyable day for me. It is a nice place for taking pictures and has a good atmosphere. I was amazed by the organization, hygiene and equipment to cool people in the heat. I think there can be no better place than this to spend a nice day with a family. Thank you to the Zoo team for everything.

We loved every second of it! it’s of course a bit hot but they have misters everywhere around the zoo to cool you off, no complaints other than that we loved seeing all the animals!

Great experience for all ages

My family and I visited Zoo Miami last weekend for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The park is well cared for and clean. We appreciate the consideration taken for small kids with the playground and splash area, my children loved both of these sections. The temperature was quite hot but we cooled down with the mist sprayers and next time we will definitely book a bicycle. My only criticism was for entrance safety, I expected a security check to check our bag but we never saw one. With the recent events around the country I would a expect a greater concern for safety protocol in regards to checking for weapons. Overall great experience, definitely recommend booking a bicycle (they are shaded) and bringing a refillable bottle of water for each person visiting, if you have small children I recommend a quick dry shirt to allow them to quickly dry off after the splash pad or a bathing suit like many of the kids had on. Looking forward to our next visit.

Beautiful Zoo; Virtual Easter Egg Hunt

We visited the zoo with a reciprocal membership ticket. Lines were short and fast. We attended on a weekday so it wasn't crowded at all. To participate in the Virtual Egg Hunt, you need to download a third-party app called Eventzee, enter the ZooMiami code, then scan each QR coded egg as you find them along your journey. Each egg comes with a hint which the kids enjoyed deciphering (even though the eggs are in order as you walk along the path). My only complaint was that the game says one treat per device but the attendant at the end of the game refused to honor that and said it was one per family. The zoo is beautiful and the habitats are natural-looking. You can rend surrey bikes to pedal around. They had pedal boats but no one was attending it that day. Lots of fun photo-ops.

Question about the rental bikes. Can you see the animals from the bike paths or do you stop and get out? Can you leave the bike briefly? Also to get something to eat? We have tickets for third week in March, not on the weekend! Thanks for any feedback!

¿De que tubo por debajo del agua estas hablando? En mi visita al Zoo en el sección nueva de los everglades hay un tobogán (deslizadera) pequeño por el que te deslizas y pasas por debajo del tanque donde están unas nutrias y al frente hay otro tubo por el que pasas agachado por el tanque de los alligators (cocodrilos o caimanes). Hacer eso es gratis yo no pague extra. Si quieres ve mi video para veas de lo que estoy hablando.

The zoo is open year round and enjoyable every day!
For an aerial view of Zoo Miami’s beautiful canopy and animals, board our air-conditioned monorail (elevated train). With four convenient stops throughout the zoo, the monorail is a great way to see and learn about our animals. This is a great and comfortable way to get from one area of the zoo to another.

The zoo is open all of February. The monorail is an air-conditioned elevated train that runs slowly through the park enabling visitors to view the exhibits aerially. It stops in each of the main sections so that you may walk to the individual exhibits. It is handicap and stroller accessible with large ramps leading up to the platforms.

Hola , la verdad es que existen lugares donde comprar y comer en familia lo que es genial ya que no necesitas llevar algo para alimentarse y los niños se entretienen con las ardillas que se acercan.
