    Little Havana food tour
The tour was very good. We had a small group- about 5 people. Danny, our tour guide, was very polite, funny and had extensive experience in little Havana. The food was excellent as you would expect, and this tour has struck the balance of the quantity of food that you would taste, very well. We didn’t leave hungry and we weren’t so full to bursting either. We would definitely rebook this tour.

    Little Havana History Buff Tour
Faruk was an excellent tour guide who shared interesting historic information with us. He knew many of the locals we passed on the street. You could tell that Little Havana is a close knit community. I highly recommend this tour.

    Little Havana- so fun!
We spent a beautiful Sunday afternoon with Danny as our tour guide in Little Havana- what a delight! The neighborhood is all bright colors and happy hip-swinging music. Danny knew so many people on the street who stopped to speak to him. Sure, most of those people had something to sell and they hoped we would be their customers- but it was a joy to be exposed to it all- a person with parrots for photographs, a man selling peanuts for a dollar, and all the people in all the shops we stopped in . We ate cuban sandwich (amazing!) , guava pastries, empanadas, and churros- it was basically two meals!. Danny also told lots of stories and we learned about the hobby of dominos with a Cuban twist, and the history of the Bay of Pigs. This was not a serious history tour, but it was super fun and I highly recommend it. He pointed out a jazz club on the tour, Ball & Chain- we stopped there for a cuban mojito after the tour and listened to the band. It was a wonderful afternoon.

Wonderful food and interesting cultural info
Faruk was a great guide to show us around Little Havana, providing lots of details to inform us about the origins of the area and Cuban culture. Come hungry because there is enough food and drink tastings to fill you up. I don’t drink coffee but totally enjoyed the Cuban coffee! Easy walking for all ages, BTW.

Waste of time. Food bad and guide worse
Boring. Couldn’t hear anything the guide said-/nor could others. Opted for the 4 pm tour. Bad choice. Everything was closing at 5 pm So no visit to domino park and other Places Food. Meh. Skip This and if you want Cuban food go To Versailles. Out guide didn’t know much about the 5 blocks of little Havana considering he was Cuban. Total waste of money.

    Super!!!!
I had an awesome time on the Little Havana food tour with Danny! He really knows his stuff—not just about the food, which was incredible, but also the history of the area. It was so cool learning about Little Havana while tasting all the amazing dishes. Danny made the whole experience super fun and interesting. If you're looking to eat great food and get a real feel for the neighborhood, this tour is a must!

    Extremely disappointing experience
My experience with the little Havana walking tour was extremely disappointing. I had scheduled the tour for 12:30 on Mother’s Day, which also happened to be my birthday this year. Unfortunately, about 2 hours before the tour, we realized we would be late due to a delay at the restaurant where we had a reservation. We tried to communicate this to Farouk, the tour guide, in advance, hoping to find a solution. However, despite being the only ones on the tour and the tour lasting 2.5 hours, Farouk refused to wait for us or even meet us at a different spot along the route. He mentioned that he could only wait for 10 minutes at the pick-up location, and if we were not there within that time, he would leave and go home. We were going to be 30 minutes late, but Farouk insisted that if we were not there within 10 minutes after the scheduled time, he would go home instead of running the tour that day. This lack of flexibility and understanding was quite disheartening, especially considering the circumstances. When we tried to cancel, we were unable to do so, resulting in a loss of money for us. Overall, this experience left us with a very negative impression of both the tour and Farouk as a guide. It’s unfortunate that what was supposed to be a special day turned into such an unpleasant and frustrating experience.

Repeat performance - I have done this tour 3 times and continue to discover new places
Faruk was wonderful. Arrived on time and we immediately were at our first stop. Gave a wonderful history of the influence of the Cuban community, culture, traditions, struggles, and most importantly, their success stories. Realizing the American dream. Approximately six stops on the tour which lasted 3 hours. Highly recommend him

Wish we'd done this tour the first time we visited Miami.
I wish we'd done this tour the first time we visited Miami and tried visiting Little Havana because after our tour with Danny we have a much better lay of the land, where to go, etc. Danny has got to be one of the most well-known people in Little Havana as we were greeted warmly everywhere we visited with him on the tour. People call out to him on the street so he's obviously held in high regard in Little Havana. We tried tons of food and drinks so be ready to get full on this tour. Highly recommend doing this tour with Danny. We truly enjoyed Little Havana and that's in large part to this tour.

Excellent street food from small local entrepreneurs, all from a different country. Good explanation about the country specialties, especially the empanadas and the ice cream rolls with mango and passion fruit were world class.
The Tour took us to special places that you cannot discover on your own. Details about quaint (Art-Deco) hotels and buildings were very interesting.

Come hungry! Plenty of food with 3 types of sandwiches, a smoothie, and ice cream at the end. Our tour guide took us inside hotels and had awesome stories about what influenced the art deco vibes of South Beach. We really enjoyed our tour and would recommend to take this towards the beginning of your trip. Espanola Way is very lively and all the food looked amazing!

This tour was a fun way to see some of Miami while sampling food from a few local, ethnic restaurants. Our tour guide Srishti was friendly and informative, and we enjoyed chatting with her about the local art and architecture in between our stops to eat at the five restaurants on our tour.
The food was delicious. The walks in between restaurants helped to “build” our appetites up!

The only reason I didn’t give this tour five stars was that we stopped at a sandwich place and got huge sandwiches - but didn’t have a table to sit at to eat. They would’ve been very messy to eat standing, so we took them to go. But we had to throw them out because we had taken a train and Uber to get to Miami, and we were afraid the sandwiches would go bad.

But still a worthwhile tour!

The tour guide is incredibly knowledgeable about Miami’s history, architecture and current going’s on. He’s great at sharing information and answered every question asked. The food sampling was fun and there was so much to taste that we couldn’t finish it all by the time we arrived at the last place. Pace yourself!!! We ended the tour as it got dark so we saw Miami Beach glowing in neon lights which was beautiful.

Faruk was a fantastic tour guide!
The knowledge he has of the city is impressive, and the places he takes you are amazing.
Each restaurant he takes you to is so welcoming, the food is fresh, and delicious!!

He is funny, endearing, and very personable!

10/10 reccomend, and we will be back for another one of his tours in the future.

DO NOT eat beforehand!!
We were SO full that we ended up taking some of the food home, we couldn't finish it all.

Food is included in the cost.

Thank you Faruk!!

Farouk was very knowledgeable and answered all questions. Throughout the tour he shared many facts about Miami, the culture, and the food sprinkled with several fun facts as well. My husband and I really really enjoyed the food tasting incorporated into the walking tour. Be advised that this tour is approximately 3 hours, but it is at a leisurely pace.

Our guide, Faruk, is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Miami, as well as the stories behind the neighborhoods and even the individual buildings. Even as a native of South Florida, I learned so many cool things and visited really interesting parts of South Beach I never knew about. And then the variety of places we stopped to eat felt like a trip around the world - and so much food. Unlike a lot of tours that hit the same spots on the main drag, this tour is full of hidden treasures. When the tour was over I asked him where to go for a drink, and he led us to a somewhat secret and really cool rum bar in the basement of an old Art Deco hotel on the strip. It felt like miles away from the crowds, and we felt like insiders. We would’ve never known it even existed.

This tour was our first event after arriving at Miami Beach and it was the perfect start to our girls getaway. Jennifer was a fantastic host. Her love for food and Miami Beach was evident; we loved her stories and all the history she shared. She wove the history of Miami Beach with her personal stories of living here for 30 years which made the tour informative and intimate. The food was excellent and we got a great taste of all things Miami Beach. The sandwich and coffee our first stop and the empanada at Charlotte Bakery were our favorites. We had a great group in addition to a wonderful host. Thank you, Jennifer!
