Very knowledgable instructor, Malachi is a great teacher and got my teenager up on a board in no time! She is looking forward to surfing again!

We had a great experience! Had a surf lessons for a 7 and 8 year old at Okaloosa Island. Malachi was our instructor and he was so great with the kiddos. Both of them were able to stand up a few times during the lesson. They had a blast. Would highly recommend this company and Malachi to others looking for a surf experience in the area!

It was a great experience! I was a little worried about safety etc but those concerns soon disappeared once we got in the water. They were knowledgeable & patient- I think we got tired and quit before they did! Kai and the guys that came to back him up were GREAT! Would’ve liked to hang out with all day! Great experience! Would definitely do it again.

Malachi was an awesome instructor. He was very personable, knowledgeable, encouraging and my daughter felt safe and very comfortable with him. She had a great time!

The lesson was amazing and the instructor very cool, but I had problems booking through tripadvisor and I almost could not receive the lesson because of that.

AC and Cody are super passionate, great teachers. They obviously love what they do and their enthusiasm is exceptionally contagious! Our twin 14 year old daughters had their first surf lesson with these cool cats, and they absolutely loved it. We’re not sure how we missed out on previous Okaloosa Island trips, but will FOR SURE hit these guys up next year for at least one more lesson. One of the greatest endorsements: the locals at The Angler all know AC and had nothing but great things to say. Thanks so much to both of you - it was an awesome time!!

I was vacationing on the beach with my family and wanted something memorable to do with my 3 kids. Learning to surf was amazing and so much fun; all 3 kids got up on the surf boards and had a great time. The pictures and videos were the highlight of the whole trip. Braden our instructor was very patient and super knowledgeable you could tell he loved what he does. I highly recommend!

My 10yr old daughter and I both had a great time. AC was great in every aspect in showing us how to get up on a board. $ well spent. Anyone looking for a quick beginner surf lesson, this is a must. AC was a great instructor and him being a local from the area enhanced the experience. My daughter has not quit talking about it since the lesson. Looking forward to continuing to learn more for beach trips in the future.

My daughter absolutely loved her surf lesson with AC. He was very informative and lots of fun. He gave her a lot of guidance on the beach before hitting the water. Then lots of support to find good waves and technique support while in the water.

We were staying in Gulf Shores for vacation and daughter wanted to surf. So we looked for lessons nearby. Talked to owner about a month before visiting to get the details. Was told to call the day before to finalize times. The owner does work another job so it was a bit for him to get back to me. But we talked the night prior to their lesson for all the details. AC, the instructor was a cool guy and great instructor. Daughter and boyfriend both enjoyed it and was able to get up. They both were tired but also wished they had more time on the boards. They now want to rent boards and practice on their own.

Our surfing experience exceeded all our expectations. Our instructors A.C and Evan were very knowledgable and patient. It was the highlight of our trip. I highly recommend it for anyone at any age. They started with instructing on land before heading into the water. Their constant encouragement and instructions made us feel both safe and able. We appreciated their efficient communication with us before the experience, and their follow-up afterwards. We could not say better things about the experience we had with A.C and Evan through Gulf Coast Surf School.

We had a fantastic experience with Gulf Coast Surf School. AC had my teenage daughter up on the board on her second try. He was super fun and patient and a great instructor. The company had a full schedule, but still worked us in for the same day that I called and the lesson was a short walk from our rental on Navarre Beach. We had people stop us on the beach to get their contact info after watching my daughter’s lesson. We will definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

These guys are amazing! Great instruction and patience with making sure you get up on the board and have a great time! Came with my 2 teenagers. 2 hour instruction. A lot of fun. Would definitely do again when we come back.
