- Bogotarocks0 contributionsKids loved itVisited with our two kids. On going into the first part of the attraction - I was underwhelmed and thought this isn't worth it. But it got a lot better - as in a lot better! Kids loved it and was fun for Mum and Dad as well. We came mid morning - and was quite busy with school trips. However, when you buy tickets for the day you can return. We had dinner at The Pointe and came back late at like 10pm. It was empty - we had laser tag and the ropes all to ourselves. Great day and evening.Written 17 November 2024

- cynni330 contributionsGREAT dinner show and entertainment. We went to the "Comedy/Magic Dinner Show" last night and it was spectacular. Our server (Savannah, I think) did an outstanding job keeping our glasses full, plenty of pizza, etc. The comedian/magician was truly funny and very interactive with guests, inviting/coercing audience members to be part of his show. It was GREAT family fun. Before last week (last-minute decision) we didn't know anything about WonderWorks, and decided on the spur of the moment and so glad we did. Would definitely recommend.Written 12 May 2024

We had some time to kill and we have driven past the upside down house so many times that we thought wed try it. We got the tickets with the highwire and some arcade money and with the voucher for the 3 of it was just over $100 which I was dubious about but once we got in there it was actually really fun there was loads to do on each floor we especially liked the hurricane simulator and the earthquake one. My son enjoyed doing the bed of nails the most and there were loads of interactive things for him to play with when we made it to the arcade he went on the high wires they have going around the top and he did really well and enjoyed it lots there was laser tag but it didn’t look open and we couldn’t see any staff to ask but it was okay he enjoyed the arcade for a little bit. Once he had finished we wound our way back down to the bottom re looking at things he wanted to go on again and then we left. We spent about 3 hours inside and we could have gone back in if we wanted we parked our car in the car park right next door and I cant remember how much we paid but it wasn’t much. There are lots of other things to do in the area so you could make a whole day out if it if you wanted to Id recommend but make sure you get a voucher or you can buy online and I think there cheaper if you pre book

Today I took 5 grandchildren, ages 8-13, to Wonderworks. I started them at the Ropes Course before the lines could get long. It is on the third floor. Tip: Do not start on the first floor and work your way up. Everyone does that so avoid the crowds and do the opposite. Warning: Everything else on the 3rd floor costs money. It is an arcade with a concession stand. Those waiting while part of your group goes on the ropes will have nothing to do for what could be a lengthy wait in line. Once they get on the ropes, it is a riot to watch them master them or quake. Xavier belted my grands into the harnesses. The 42 inch grandson was permitted to use the course because he had an adult—the 13 year old with him. I saw plenty of smaller children in the ropes and they did very well. Xavier was an EXCEPTIONAL worker. He was very patient, kind and professional. We chose to do the ropes as are first and last events. Xavier was full of personality when we saw him six hours later. He maintained enthusiastic for all of the customers so I highly commend him. Oh, there is a free 4D movie in the same room so part of your group could watch it. There are 4 choices of movies so it could be viewed more than once. My older grands loved the 2 astronaut rides. They were definitely scary and spun them in every direction possible.

Really enjoyed our visit on Monday 12/05. A very interesting experience for two Seniors and I especially want to mention Charlie who was organising the 4D rides on the 3rd floor. This was awesome and he treated me to a second ride because there was nobody waiting. Thanks Charlie!
Just two small quibbles. The Restaurant is in a very grim area which is like a drab canteen. Some colour would help hugely. Also the 2nd floor is full of gaming machines and nobody warned us that these are an extra cost. No problem with that but a prior warning would have helped.
All in all, we did really enjoy our visit to Wonderworks and we would recommend it, especially for families with teens.

Thank you for visiting & we appreciate the comment on Charles!
We appreciate the feedback about our Works Eatery - could you email me some specific feedback about this area? I may be reached at guestservices@wonderworksonline.com.
As far as the 2nd Floor - there are only two small vending machines that are an extra cost (since you win prizes). Everything else is free and included in the price. Again, e-mail me if you have any questions?

I visited Wonderworks in Orlando in May. Several things: the kids loved the exhibits; it was too crowded and too hot; the food service was abysmal. The place is set up for visits to be 3-4 hours. With kids, you'll need a snack. We waited in line more than 30 minutes, and in that time, only 2 customers were served. This is just snack food like pizza slices or pretzels, so it's not easy to grasp that it should take an hour in line for that. And the food is outrageously priced. This has the possibility of being a great place, but the lackluster service, crowds and ridiculous food prices left us wondering why we didn't choose another of Orlando's nice attractions.

Sadly this place leaves a lot to be desired. As the comparison is easy, if you’re choosing between here and Ripleys, go to Ripleys!
We visited as a family of three with our 6 year old daughter and paid $100 to get in, so obviously we expected good things. From the very get go, we were met with apathy and a lack of service. The cash desk attendant didn’t even look up from the desk to greet us and when we said “hello?” he looked annoyed to have to sell some tickets.
We went in anyway and found a deteriorating museum of three floors. The first two house some old exhibits, several not working, some taped together tattily, some out of date and no longer deemed up to date technology. The third floor is purely paid for arcade machines. So we already paid $100 to enter and then they want another load of cash off us to use the arcade games that take up a whole floor of the museum. The air conditioning wasn’t working so the whole place was like a furnace.
One of the exhibits is a photo op with a dinosaur cut out made of metal. My young daughter wanted a photo. When she got off, the whole thing ended up on top of her foot. It wasn’t bolted down or anything, extremely dangerous. She was screaming in pain and not one employee came to check she was ok. Thank goodness she didn’t have a broken foot.
We complained and were told that yes, some of the exhibits were broken, told that one wasn’t even plugged in hence our disappointment. It was confirmed that the air conditioning wasn’t working either (something other reviewers have also pointed out a long time ago so this is clearly an ongoing problem) and told that as we’d been in the building for more than 25 minutes, we couldn’t get a full refund but they would refund one adult and one child ticket cost.
Bear in mind that this offer is after they confirmed that things were broken, unplugged and just plain not working that day. We still had to pay for one ticket. My advice is if you’re considering a trip to Wonderworks, avoid at present, go to Ripleys and wait to see if Wonderworks take anything all these bad reviews say on board and update their old exhibits, the building’s amenities and their lacking customer service.

Dear KazukiNakajima,
Thank you for visiting WonderWorks. I am sorry you had an unpleasant experience. I don't know what date you visited, but our entire 1st and 2nd Floor have been updated with new experiences. Also, the Dino Photo Op has been bolted down for about a month now. As far as Exhibits down, we only have one Coaster and our Mars Mission not operating at this time. If you could send me more information about your visit (along with visit date) I can help address some of these issues. I can reached directly at guestservices@wonderworksonline.com.

My family and i visited this location during Spring Break 2021 and I would definitely say it's truly not worth the money. It is full of knowledge, but the kids found it to be boring and only enjoyed the bubble room, VR game, and the rope course. Some exhibits were closed and it took over an hour to get in. Spring Break is to blame for the wait, but the cost outweighs the fun.

My family and I went to see the Dinner,Magic, Comedy show here. It started off a bit nerve racking as they sit you right net to strangers like a school cafeteria style seating. You have to share the pizza dish, because there are only three pizza and salad dishes per table. I personally think that each family should have access to their own, especially with Covid and germs being a concern these days. The families we sat next to were nice, but I did not enjoy watching them rip apart my pizza with there hands. The pizza was pretty good, and the salad was your normal salad. The comedy/magic show was amazing. The performer was very funny and engaging with adults and children. The tricks were great and left my family guessing every time. My son even got to go up on stage. Overall I would recommend this to any family looking for something fun and different. The serving staff were great! The bathrooms could have used a bit more care, as there was urine all over the floors under the urinals, and I don’t like standing in urine and then walking around everywhere after I’m done using the bathroom. Hopefully management will get the bathroom cleaning schedule under control. Overall a good experience.

First of all, I liked the upside down building design. This is a fun hands-on science museum and I enjoyed the hurricane and earthquake simulations. The museum is small and gets really crowded so go in as early as you can. It’s fun for kids and adults.

Great place with lots to do for the family. Kids had a blast. The rode the roller coaster, played basketball, did bubbles and arcade games and more. We also are going to the comedy show. You can also get discounted tickets on Groupon through the go city Orlando passes. I recommend it

So crowded and just run over with little kids running underfoot with no parental direction on actually learning something about the displays. Some of the big attractions were out of order and shut down which resulted in huge lines and waits to do the remaining things. I felt like I was in a Petri dish of disease with stuffy, crowded, dark, damp conditions. Our teen who we brought to see the displays asked us to leave. The outside of the building was the best thing. Go to the Science Center…way more fun and sanitary conditions. Interactive displays and lots for kids to do.

Hi barrynpaulat,
Thank you for visiting. I'm sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience. We only have one large attraction down right now, and that is one of our Wonder Coasters (we are unfortunately at the mercy of the manufacturer for maintenance/repairs). Could you let me know what other attractions were not working? I would also like to collect more information about your visit. I can be reached directly at guestservices@wonderworksonline.com. Thank you!
