- 1I demonstrate how to get on and off, go forwards and reverse then turn. I then help participants to start to use the segway as above individually. An obstacle course to refine these skills and competiting against each other in stopping akin to musical statues.. Then i demonstrate and accompany participants up and down a hill and this is rehearsed. We begin the tour down our drive, stopping to give some local history. The lough path is next. I video participants following behind me. This is rotated. Participants go on and off jetties to refine skills and pose for photos, observing the scenery and wildlife and historic sights. Challenges await at the 'island', beach and slipway. Part 2 is thru our wooded path. Chicanes, tree roots and bumps await. Photos and videos here also. Part 3 is subject to ground conditions.. A race up the rose garden, returning to the treehouse. A group photo is taken without helmets and segways at the close of the tour with lakeview.

- Shriek30 contributionsGreat MorningWe had a great morning with Caroline as a family on the Segway tour. Despite the heavy rain, it could not dampen our fun or Caroline's enthusiasm. Her knowledge of the local area was second to none, relaying the local history and the wildlife on the 2 hour tour. We had never used a Segway before and the initial instruction gave us the confidence to tackle the lake and the forest terrain. Thoroughly an enjoyable morning, and a nice coffee and home baked bread after the tour only added to an exceptional morning. Great family day - thanks again Caroline,Written 31 October 2021

We really didn’t know what to expect: not familiar with segways, and not familiar with this beautiful part of the country. From the moment you arrive, however, you’re in the capable hands of Caroline and the beautiful surrounds of the Old Rectory. Caroline is patience personified - she’s great with kids AND adults, and makes the Segway pre-training a fun activity in itself. She then guides the 1.5 hour tour with energy, wit and an easy friendliness that makes you feel like you’ve known her for years. I highly recommend this experience - you get to meet Caroline, you get a first class course in segwaying, and a genuinely interesting tour of a hidden pocket of the Fermanagh countryside.

The whole experience was great from start to finish. Caroline our guide was very encouraging and made sure everybody was comfortable and competent on the Segways before we began the tour. On the tour itself we found Caroline to be very knowledgeable on the local wildlife and the history of the area. Unlike other Segway tours we have done Caroline encouraged us all to use the Segways to their full potential, bringing us out on jettys around the lake, paved roads, rough tracks and finished off with a trek through the forest over rough ground which was really fun. Throughout the tour Caroline also made sure to get great photos and videos for us, all of which she then sent onto us after the tour. Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

Our family had such an amazing experience and lots of fun surrounded by beautiful views. My daughter is 9 and was a little nervous at start. Caroline (tour guide) was so kind and helpful and made out daughter feel very safe and confident. We will definitely come back again next time we are visiting Fermanagh. Thanks Caroline

Natashka, it was lovely to see your familyh grow in confidence through the careful obstacle course, uo and down hills, around the lake and even the forest path with bumps! I hope you liked the pictures and look forward to seeing you again in the future.

Caroline was a super host/guide and teacher to complete novice's. In less than 10 minutes she had us all confident enough to hit the trails. Our youngest (11) was a little nervous but she re-assured her and us throughout the tour and was full of encouragement throughout. She took loads of pictures and videos of us all which was a great addition and she kindly allowed us to eat our picnic on her sun deck ! Thoroughly recommend the Segway tour if you haven't tried it already.

This tour is a must do! Caroline our tour guide was outstanding and astutely tailored the route to and level of challenge to engage both parents and more importantly 3 teenage boys - 17, 15 and 12. A good balance of information was provided about the history of the area, its claims to fame and lots of funny stories.
The tour combined a scenic lake tour with amazing views, an great off road forest trail and also a bit of healthy competition with a few races. My boys loved it and special family memories were made and kindly captured by Caroline who took loads of videos and pictures which she quickly forwarded on to us.
This activity is suitable for all levels of ability, Caroline expertly identifies the level of tour required and ensures great health and safety throughout.

Caroline was an AMAZING tour guide ☺ she told us loads of interesting random facts about fermanagh and the lake and has us all laughing. Make sure you know your 80s hits and prepare for sing alongs during the tour as caroline takes any opportunity to sing to you.

We arrived for the segway experience without a booking but Caroline accommodated us despite a large group. We were given lessons initially and then a full 90 minute experience around the lake and in the woods. The views were breathtaking.
Caroline was very patient with us and took beautiful pictures and videos.

This was the highlight of our family weekend trip to Enniskillen. Caroline gave excellent instruction on how to use the segways allowing practice to build confidence before taking us on a fun and informative tour around Killymore lake. My husband, myself and our 10 year old son all equally enjoyed this activity.

We had an amazing day today on our tour with Caroline. She began by giving us a thorough and enjoyable lesson on how to drive/manoeuvre our segways and then took us on a fun filled trial around a beautiful lake, showing us the remains of a crannóg, and lots of beauty spots along the way. We then moved on to the next part of our tour in a whimsical windy woodland . Here, we were challenged with some bendy paths that put our driving skills to the test! Caroline was very friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly full of enthusiasm to ensure we had the best experience possible- and, that we did!
I highly recommend a visit to Caroline’s beautiful house for this tour - you won’t be disappointed!

We have been segwaying before but highly recommend using Caroline’s company. She was friendly and sensitive to our 10 year olds needs.
The segways were the best fun and great value. Our daughter still talks about how good it was. Caroline really connected with her.
My husband loved the wheels and freedom to get close to nature.
