About
Chicago offers amazing historical and culinary adventures, and this bike and food tour allows you to experience both while leaving the navigation to a guide. Hop on a provided bike and pedal around 13 miles (21 kilometers) at a moderate pace through Lincoln Park, Gold Coast, Wrigleyville, and Old Town, stopping along the way to refuel at hidden gems for Chicago-style pizza, hot dogs, cupcakes, and beer.

Bike around Chicago without worrying about equipment or navigation
Steer clear of tourist traps with a guide
Learn about the city's culinary history through commentary
Visit neighborhoods that many city visitors don't get to
What to expect
Meet at the tour’s bike-shop departure location along Lake Shore Drive, where you’ll listen to a safety briefing and get set up with a properly sized bike and helmet. Pedal through local neighborhoods, leaving the navigation and planning to your guide. Just follow along for the roughly 13-mile (21-kilometer) ride through Wrigleyville, Old Town, Lincoln Park, and Gold Coast, enjoying the scenery and refueling with intermittent tastings at some of the city's best food spots. Learn what makes Chicago deep-dish pizza special, why you’ll get dirty looks if you ask for ketchup with your hot dog, and where to find the best local craft brews. Learn about the history of each neighborhood, and finish with a cupcake at one of the city’s best bakeries. Your guide will be happy to provide you with more suggestions on where to eat and drink in Chicago during the remainder of your stay.

Great time, excellent tour!
Wow, is all I can say! This tour was amazing. Brooke did a phenomenal job and was so professional. We made several stops that hit all the Chicago musts. Brooke did such a great job explaining the history of different sites along with some thrown in humor. Definitely take this tour and if your lucky to get Brooke, you will be delighted. Thanks again for an amazing tour.

Chicago bike tour is the way to go!
What a fun way to see the neighborhoods of Chicago and get a little exercise at the same time! The beers and food were delicious. We especially liked the hot dog, Chicago style of course, in wrigleyville! Our guide, Brooke, did a fantastic job. She was super friendly and full of good info about the area! Thanks!

As great as everyone says!
Sep 2021 • Couples
It really was as wonderful as all the reviews say. Our tour guide, Julia, was absolutely the highlight of our tour with a winning personality and strong leadership skills for our biking group. The pizza actually was delicious, and the Chicago dog was, too! Yummy beer, cider, and brownies to boot. The tour is 99% flat ground so is doable by those who are not regular bikers. I will say that both my husband and I were exhausted by the end of the tour. Not a lot of history on this one, just a great way to get a really good handle on the expanse of this beautiful city.

You won’t be disappointed!
The tour was cool and our guide Julia was fun, super informative and had great energy. I would have like to take a little more time riding past the mansions, but all-in-all was a very pleasant experience.

A day of clean fun!
This is a must do while visiting in downtown Chicago. We were able to see parts of Chicago neighbor hoods and ride along the waterfront of Lake Michigan . If you don’t want to drive around or take cab services all the time, this is the way to see some of Chicago , and next day you can rent one of their bikes at a very discounted rate if you have taken the tour, then ride all day yourselves!

Cruising Bike Style in Chicago
Aug 2021
The Bikes, Bites, and Brews Tour is a fabulous way to experience the true Chicago. From food to drinks, and all the historical information, Nate our tour guide was amazing. Navigating the busy streets he protected us and ensured our safety during the entire adventure. I will absolutely be doing future bike experiences on our next visit to the city. Thank you Nate for making our day so enjoyable with your wit and storytelling.

You WILL have fun!!!!
Fantastic time! We (3 of us) took the evening (5:30-9:30pm) bike tour and had a wonderful time. Julia, our guide was informative, fun and entertaining. We visited iconic Chicago establishments and sampled classic local specialities plus beers at 3 stops. Our 9 mile tour over 4+ hours flew by. We saw so much of the city and learned a lot about the history. None of us wanted the night to end. One of the best city tours/experiences that we have ever taken. Very highly recommended!
