Our guide was excellent, thoughtful & humorous. The scenery was stunning. I would highly recommend this tour, we also got to know more about the history & culture of Iceland.

Absolutely great day! We were able to visit all the main sites of the Golden Triangle. Our guide somehow managed to time each visit to avoid big bus crowds. We even saw a few extra stops. Guide had wonderful knowledge about everything and was extremely interesting. Especially loved hearing about some of the bizarre Icelandic fairy tales. His English was excellent and he had a microphone so everyone could hear him while he kept his eyes on the road. Awesome day with a great guide.

Beautiful experience. Our guide went above and beyond to make the trip as pleasant as possible. He took the time to add some extra stops and told amazing stories along the way, ensuring we got to see everything while getting a nice background of Iceland and its people. Simply a must do!

Amazing crater, many waterfalls, geysers. Bjarni Thorsteinsson was the best ever guide. Calm, careful driver. Pleasant and knowlegeable. He gave us options on how much or little to hike at each stop. Bjarni was considerate of our needs and chose a good restaurant for our meal break. Pick up at airport and drop off at our hotel went smoothly. It was expensive to have a private tour, but well worth it to fit the Golden Circle Tour into the time we had in Iceland. Would have been nice , if a snack our meal was included in the price of the tour.

Bjarni was an absolutely fantastic guide and driver. With only 8 hours in Reykjavík, we had a lot to see. Bjarni arranged a custom tour for us including Thingvellir, Halldór Laxness’s house Gljúfrasteinn and museums in the city. He included an amazing scenic drive out to Thingvellir too - on a road less travelled. Nothing felt rushed. He is charming, highly knowledgeable and a great driver. We could not recommend him more highly!

An absolutely fantastic 2 days of touring! Thank you so much Bjarni for being such a outstanding guide and a master storyteller. We saw so much and never once felt rushed. The tour itinerary was perfectly planned and we enjoyed every single place. It was great to get so close to the glacier and see many places that standard coach tours don’t go to. My twins aged 12 were riveted by your stories of elves, trolls and hidden people. Your driving was always safe and we felt extremely relaxed in your car. We would 100% recommend this company to everyone wanting to have a private tour of Iceland. We feel so lucky we found your website!

We were fortunate (and surprised) to have ideal weather for this tour—sunny and mild. As a local, Bjarni provided an excellent summary of the planned trip stops plus some options. We were impressed with his extensive knowledge of his country plus his sharing of personal experiences growing up in Iceland. He is an excellent storyteller which complemented the factual information. We totally enjoyed spending the day with him.

We had booked a transfer from cruise ship to hotel with south coast tour, however during drive from cruise ship to hotel we realized that the tour he was going to do was to South which we had already seen with a previous tour. Bjarni quickly adjusted our tour to go to area of Iceland we had not seen. He took us to a few places that only locals visit. It was a great tour. Thanks Bjarnij for showing us around Iceland

We booked the boat tour of the glacier lagoon! It was really amazing and worth it! 10 persons could get in a boat and the tour took around 70 mins! Guide was nice and informative!

Viktor was a superb guide. Weather cleared up just in time for us after heavy rain. The tour is up close w the icebergs, seals, and glacier. Will do again with Zodiac upon next visit to Iceland.

My husband, myself and our 9&8 yr old kids have just got back from Iceland and want to thank Bjarni for wonderful memories! He was so knowledgeable and interesting and enjoyed his stories immensely. We did the golden circle tour and then the south coast tour. The tomato greenhouse and ice cream cow lunch stop were super! The stunning sights of waterfalls, crater, glacier and geyser were so awesome! Our son fell at the glacier and cut his knee open and Bjarni to the rescue w his medical kit:) He was so patient with all of us and stopping for bathroom breaks, snacks etc and can’t recommend him enough! The 9 and 7hr trips flew by, his vehicle was clean and he was so informative. Highly recommend to see Iceland when one is on a time crunch!

Pierre it’s an awesome guide, he is from Iceland so he know the culture perfectly and has a great sense of hospitality and also he is the best storyteller, he gave us the best experience in our golden circle trip. He also took us to an amazing farm to have lunch

Though Iceland is overall incredible, this excursion was more than magical! Its a must.for anyone traveling to Iceland. It took a full 14 hours rountrip in a bus from the city but it was worth every moment once you arrived at the Lagoon and beach. The mystic views and natural wonders are beyond words. Your photos will tell the tale of your visual experience.

The tour with Greyline in Reykjavik was excellent. The guide was so knowledgeable and entertaining. The whole tour was well planned.

We had a very interesting tour which we booked through Viator. Road closures on the way back meant we had to use a detour which was incredibly scenic and we all thought should be on the official ‘route’. Our driver, Ian, was an exceptionally good guide and a very interesting person to talk to. This tour, including waterfalls, craters, geysers and lakes, exceeded our expectations. However, perhaps the company should pay a little more attention to detail. Ian was asked to be our driver/guide the previous evening and was not told that we had a booking for lunch at Fridheimar tomato farm and indeed, when we arrived they were fully booked with no record of our booking. Somehow, Ian managed to save the day and persuaded them to give us a table for what was an amazing experience. As I have some mobility issues I needed to use a small folding step to get out of the high vehicle. At our first stop, to save getting my own step out I used the one in the vehicle, provided by the company. This was unstable, didn't lock and resulted in a fall. Ian could not have been kinder and even managed to find, in the car park, a physiotherapist colleague of his wife who was able to reassure me that my ankle was sprained and not broken.
