To begin with, this experience takes place in a non-profit centre where all profits go to people in need. There, you will learn all about greek virgin olive oil and much more concerning the greek mediterranean diet, as well as, other greek traditional products. Then, together, we will cook traditional recipes passed down to us by our grandparents. The cooking experience starts by making tiropitakia (small greek cheese pies), then filo pastry from scratch to use for a greek spinach pie and of course for the main dish, moussaka accompanied by a fresh, colourful, greek salad. Every food element will be cooked individually by every participant with their own ingredients and cooking utensils, following written recipes that we will also provide, so that when you return home, you can still make our delicious delicacies and thus keep a part of your travels alive as a souvenir. We will also provide greek wines and great company. Inside the centre you will find many high quality products of greek origin to buy, like wines, extra virgin olive oil, spices and many more. Groups are formed with 3 to 12 people but there is an option for larger groups upon request.
