During a very short stay in Chablis we walked into the shop in the center of Chablis and had a wonderful tasting experience with a lovely young lady, who was passionate and very knowledgeable. We were treated to some excellent wines.

We booked a tasting experience in this domaine. This has been perfect, most of all because of the fact that we were just two and for the quality of wines tasted and explanations about them. The guide (Clotilde’s son) let us try about ten different kind of white wine, such as aligotè, petit chablis, premier cru, cremant de bourgogne rose and Irancy, the only red wine of chablis. During our tasting, he has been absolutely great, accompanying us with a superb explanation of the history and the main characteristics of chablis region and of the wines we tasted. Absolutely recommended!

Very good en quality wine tasting. English spoken, very good by the way. We tasted 9 wines in total. Very diverse in taste. No obligation to buy but we couldn’t resist!!

Clotilde Davenne is a personality, a feminist, a very clever winemaker and much more. We were a group of 18 visiting, with good English we were shown the cellars, learned about the wine making, tasting a lot of different top quality wines, mostly from the area. And being served a lunch: She mailed me as organizer: we also can prepare a lunch with spécialities of Chablis. Charcuteries and cheeses. I had expected a simple but ok lunch, what we got was high class. Absolutely top. All the time friendliness and Clotilde also came, and she is really something different. Summarized: I doubt you can spend a better part of the day in the area.

Upon arrival just in time for our tour+tasting included in our airbnb offering we had to wait for quite some time and were provided little information. However apart from this we enjoyed a beautiful, welcoming stay with an elaborate and well executed tasting with the son of owner Clothilde Davenne. Strongly recommended to experience nice Chablis wines in an authentic and beautiful setting with good value for money. We were even offered a bottle of the bubbly (crèment) free of charge. I tips is to buy food from local stores in Chablis and prepare your own dinner in the fully equipped dinner.

We spent NYE at the holiday home on premise, which was modern and comfortable. As we arrived, Clotilde welcomed us and showed us around. The wine tasting was great, she explained everything to us in detail and there was a good variety of wines, all of excellent quality. The wines are also on sale and cheap compared to prices in the Uk. I suggest coming by car and stocking up!
