Thanks for your kind review and it was pleasure to meet you both and take you for a "behind the scenes" peak at a working Hydro-electric power station. I know when you got back to your accommodation and flicked the light switch on you thought "I know how electricity is made". Good health and safe travels to you.

Hi Alison and thanks very much for booking this tour with me. It is an interesting hydro power station being in the heart of the Launceston suburb of Trevallyn and it is a significant part of the entire generating system across Tasmania. I know the civil engineer, plumber and logistics guests with you really enjoyed it also and all done and commissioned in 1955 without the internet or computers. Just fascinating.

Thank you for your kind review and I am so privileged to take guests on a tour of this amazing engineering feat. This is just one of around 30 hydro plants we have here in Tasmania with wind and thermal plants assisting with additional generation to meet demand.
