- FarAway6728840 contributionsAmazing! The whole experience was amazing. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous (although, I would assume one might want to go when the trees have leaves on them to make it even more stunning), the course is so much fun. But what made it the best experience, was the staff. Jade and Allie were the best!Written 25 March 2025
- alanfL5111HT0 contributionsGreat funGuides James and Peirah were fantastic and did a great job making it a fun adventure. The views of the limestone cliffs surrounding Boone Creek were amazing!Written 23 March 2025
- ljoland0 contributionsIncredible Experience! What an amazing experience! We wanted a challenging zipline experience that also taught us something about the local ecology and we weren't disappointed. James and Drew started on the ground with a thorough but amusing equipment intro and then made sure we had the skills right. The course was a blast and lasted almost an hour, and we were a small group! We all felt safe every step of the way, with a great feeling of accomplishment. We drove over an hour and bypassed other options and will definitely come back! The great jokes were worth the price of admission.Written 23 March 2025
- Safari205684804630 contributionsHad a great time in the treesWe had an amazing time. We were fortunate that my wife and I were the only ones during our time frame, (midweek at 1:00 pm) so we had a private excursion. The guides were very thorough with their instructions. We had a blast. The dad tree jokes were given along the way. I wonder if they should branch out into more jokes. They may be barking up the wrong tree. Perhaps they should leaf those alone. Nah, I loved all the dad jokes. The lines were long and gave us quite the thrill. They did provide a practice session on a zip line prior to engaging from tree to tree. I really appreciated that as this was just our second time zip lining and our first at Boone Creek Outdoors.Written 15 November 2024
- TR5180 contributionsA great zipline experienceWe had The Best Time!! Our Guides James & Jackson were great, and did a wonderful job with instructions & safety. Lots of thrills & entertainment.Written 31 October 2024

- daniellemD4444UM0 contributionsThe best!I went with my 7(almost 8) year old(who was right at the weight minimum), my 11 year old, and another adult family member. They made us feel super comfortable and secure, made jokes to entertain us, engaged well with everyone, taught us very well everything we needed to know. They taught us some botany tree knowledge and did an amazing job. It was our first time and we loved it—beautiful views. Thank you!Written 12 October 2024
- jennifergE5405KR0 contributionsDo it. You won’t regret it!We had a great time! The suspension bridges are the scariest part! The zip lines are long so you get to enjoy the views! The guides are very fun and work very hard to keep everyone safe! 10/10Written 3 October 2024
- hellok8540 contributionsFlying through the trees with great companyThis was exhilarating! My husband and I had a wonderful time in the trees with Drew and James. They did all the work. We just enjoyed. The history James imparted to us while flying over the pallisades was interesting and funny. Drew took lots of memory photos of us. I knew my husband would like it, me not to sure. But I loved it! I would do this again!Written 19 September 2024

The Boone Creek Adventures team is a pleasure to work with and offer a range of great activities for a variety of ages and skill. We initially had some issue with our timeslot and the team was very responsive and resolved the item immediately. We had 9 family members, ages 6 to 69, participate in the Daniel Boone Challenge: An Adventure in the Trees. This activity involves an hour-long obstacle-like rope course, with a easier level and a more challenging level. While not a true zipline activity, kids (young to teens) had a great time being anchored into a guide line and navigating a wide set of different obstacles up in the tree canopy, with a brief zipline experience at the end. The staff was knowledgeable and focused on being safe and having fun. We brought a picnic lunch and enjoyed relaxing on the grounds after the activity.

Right from the beginning my grandsons, ages 7&9 loved it. The upper choice was a bit too much for my 7 year old but he had a blast on the lower deck, and was even running parts of the course. My 9 year old did both slowly at first and then was running and smiling and totally enjoying it.
They both said they wanted it to do it again, but wanted us to buy the package with more zip lines.

We were not there for a zipline tour. I had to select that in order to submit a review.
We stayed at the property on Grimes Mill road. It was a beautiful location overlooking a creek with wildlife to watch from the patio. The house was a very attractive modern design with lots of windows and artwork on the surrounding grounds. Very comfortable.
Our general complaint was that it seemed obvious that higher end property rental was not the focus, or experience, of this company. We felt like we (and the property) were more an after-thought, or a nuisance, when calling to get service that was expected.
Examples:
> No firewood for the fire pit and no offer to bring any.
> Everything was buried under a layer of leaves. So nobody had prepped the outside of the property recently for guests.
> A guided hike was expected, but was denied because they were short staffed for their zipline business. Obviously, they knew we were coming, and were expecting that hike...
Seems strange that a client paying for a rental worth thousands of dollars wouldn't warrant at least as much attention as their zipline customers. In spite of these detractions, we enjoyed our stay.

Hello,
My name is Eba Creel, and I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with our recent experience on the Daniel Boone Challenge tour. Unfortunately, I do not recall the name of our tour guide, but I feel compelled to share my concerns.
I purchased the tour to provide a memorable zip lining experience for my husband and children. It was my boys' first time zip lining, and I had high hopes for the event. However, the tour guide's demeanor significantly impacted our experience. Although she explained the procedures and rules, she was not approachable or engaged with our group. She assisted my son once, but I felt she lacked the enthusiasm and encouragement needed, especially when working with children. Her overall attitude was dull and unfit for the role that day.
Despite our initial excitement, the guide's behavior dampened our enjoyment. We reluctantly tipped her $10, though she did not merit it. While the challenge itself was fun, and your amenities are excellent, our experience was marred by the tour guide's poor performance.
Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. I hope this helps improve future experiences for other guests.
Sincerely, Eba Creel

If you are looking for something different to do with your family, that is very much enjoyable and fun. This is definitely it. Our guide was amazing as well. It’s always hard to find some thing that my four-year-old can do and that is still enjoyable for our older kids. This was perfect for everyone including my husband and I.

We loved the challenges, James was very detailed and patient with us, especially with my 6 years old granddaughter whom was scared of the small zip line. She ended up doing it about 4 times after the first. We will definitely come back, next time to do the real zip lines.

Harrison was our guide and provided a wonderful experience for my two granddaughters and me. He was knowledgeable and engaging and really made our experience special. BCO is very safety-oriented and did an excellent job of preparing us with the harnesses and helmets, and explaining how to navigate the course. Harrison was there to troubleshoot and coach us along if we ran into any struggles. This is a really great activity for families with ‘littles’ who aren’t ready for a full-fledged zip line experience. It was a real confidence-builder for my nine and five year-old granddaughters. They are still talking about how much fun they had!! I highly recommend this 1.5 hour outdoor experience... if you go, be sure to hit Boonedogs Restaurant - three miles down the road - for lunch. Have their famous hotdogs and a cold Freddy’s root beer!
