- js78790 contributionsSeals, Fish and Chips and Upside Down BridgesWe had a lovely 2 day family cruise with Colin on the catamaran. Not much wind for sailing but we made it to Anstruther for delicious fish and chips and the Isle of May where we saw so many seals, it was quite an experience having them all pop up around the Catamaran, going under the bridges was also a highlight too, the kids loved it!Written 28 September 2020

- irm19660 contributionsA great office day outWe had a team building day where we went on the catamaran "Edinburgh Castle". After the safety messages, some staff were asked to take the controls while others just chatted. We then went for some tea and invited the skipper to join us. A truly nice day. I wasn't sure to begin with but I would say this was a great experience. Quite strange to look up at the bridges too.Written 31 July 2020

- jenl1210 contributionsAfternoon SailJust back from an afternoon Sail @Edinburgh Boat Charters and is was amazing!!!! The weather helped as it was nice and sunny as we set off so all good. The owner was the skipper and he took us through safety first then in turn we all had a go of taking a turn at the wheel, great fun. It was relaxing as well as a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. The highlight for me was getting up close to the Seals sunbathing, 3 in total, would have put up but it was a video I had taken. Would highly recommend Colin (owner and skipper) and his crew as very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Great experience so would give it a go if you get chance and worth every penny!!!! 👍👍👍👍Written 8 September 2019

Thank you so much to Colin and Harry for our trip yesterday!
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the sail and they had nothing but great things to say on our drive home. We did 3-4 hours of sailing, stopped for lunch in Oban and then continued for another 3-4 hours of sailing in the afternoon. We were allowed to be hands on and get involved in the activity as much or as little as we liked. Very welcoming and accommodating. Would recommend as it's a great day out.

Fantastic way to celebrate a big birthday. We sailed with Colin and Forrester out of Dunstaffnage and had a brilliant day. So much wildlife to see - many sea birds, seals, porpoises, dolphins and even a sea eagle. We just missed the mythical wild piglets of Pig Island but we hope to go back and see them another time. If you're looking for a very special experience, a day's sailing with Edinburgh Boat Charters is for you!

We had a fantastic day with Colin, we were looking to experience sailing on a catamaran after getting our Day Skipper course.
Colin was extremely patience and eager to show us the differences between a monohull and a multihull catamaran.
To top it up, we had lots of wind so it was a fantastic day out!

I booked this for my husband's birthday present, from organising with Ellie beforehand to the final goodbyes, everything was perfect. My husband was welcomed aboard with coffee and cake and though I wasn't sharing the experience, I was given a tour of the catamaran - you can easily experience this on your own as you are made so welcome by the crew, this day skipper Colin, so knowledgeable and Forrester, great to chat with. You can be as involved as you like with the sailing or take a back seat and relax. Would be great to book with a group of friends for the day. I found lots to do nearby in the lovely old streets next to the marina and a long leisurely lunch at Scotts Restaurant overlooking the marina and bridges. Really great experience!Thank you.
