At our TRINCOMALEE DIVING CENTRE we have Dive Sites with different depth from 6 to 30 m we offer Reef Dives, Rock Dives, Wreck Dives and Night Dives.
At the reefs, you can find over 1,000 species, Eagle Rays, Blue Spotted Stingrays, Turtles, Cuttlefish, Baracuda, Trevally, Soldier Fish, Surgeon Fish, Fusiliers, Lion Fish, Sea Stars and many more.
Over 200 species of hard corals and a vast array of beautiful soft corals Sometimes you can also see, mostly at the month from April to June, Whale Sharks, Reef Sharks, and Mantas, but these are really seldom.
The shallow dive sites around the Pigeon Island Marine Park are mostly covered by hard and soft corals with a lot of different coral fishes and for sure Black Tip Reef Sharks and turtles in the shallow parts of the coral reef.
For Pigeon Island you have to pay an Entrance Fee of 15,- Euros.

I completed my Open Water and Advance Open Water Course under awesome guidance of Instructor Tarush Raju. The instructor is really patient and top notch at his skill. Instructor ‘T’ is the other knowledgeable instructor at the centre who is real good at his job and explaining stuff. I was surprised how these instructors work …they treat every student as their 1st – The level of interest they take in you to teach ! Loved the Boat men Chinnavan and Prem, who are awesome company helping you throughout your dive course. The Team of 4 – Tarush, T, Chinnavan & Prem make the Trincomalee Diving centre the Best 1 !! - 707maia0 contributionsVery good but overpricedI joined their pigeon island snorkeling. Communication was a little tough but Pick up was smooth, staff were very nice. Snorkeling itself was also great we saw sharks and sea turtles and tons of fish. Overall experience was satisfactory. The only thing, I learned afterwards is that the price (38€ ) was way overpriced. I found the same tour elsewhere at more than half the price at least. I should’ve known better.Written 16 August 2019

I would normally bring all my own gear, but as I only had time for one dive on the trip, I used their gear. It was ok, but one does get used to their own stuff so I’d recommend that if you can you bring your own. Because there had been a cyclone off India,Trincomalee copped some rough weather in the days prior to my visit and visibility was affected.Written 10 May 2019

We had fun and learned a lot.
