- 1A special tour of the Wabasha Street Caves that focuses on the Haunted events that still occur at the caves. Recently declared as Winner of the Most Haunted Place in Minnesota by Star Tribune October 2021. The tour is not intended to be frightening. It all started during the 1930's with the unsolved gangland murder at the casino. Some believe the caves are haunted by the murdered mobsters whose bodies were never found. Haunted happenings have taken place ever since. We have so many stories, we can’t fit them into 1 hour. We have selected our best stories and conclude the tour with a slide show finale!

- 406gilbertz0 contributionsMust do when in town.Mary was amazing. She really delivered the cave history in style. It was very entertaining and fun. She is very talented and kept us laughing and attentive for the full hour tour.Written 30 November 2024
- 935janellem0 contributionsSuper cool and learned alotGreat tour guide. Very informative and knowledgeable about the history behind the cave. Love the area and will be visiting some Thursday for dancing.Written 23 November 2024
- Rockhellee0 contributionsWouldn't recommendI was not impressed with the tour. The tour guide did a great job, but the actual space was underwhelming. I didn't think the tour or the stories were worth the money. I would not recommend this tour.Written 4 November 2024
- Trek431379609840 contributionsFun St Paul Cave TourWe live in the north suburbs and it was well worth the 30 minute drive to this cave tour. The check in was easy, the tour started on time and the guide was very informative and entertaining. We has a great time and was well worth the cost of admission!Written 12 October 2024
- R5953VRmarkb0 contributionsSt. Paul cave tourBrett was very good. Was a great deal at $15. You learn a lot about why the caves were built and what they were used for throughout the ages.Written 11 October 2024
- davidbI3699YQ0 contributionsFascinating piece of St Paul HistoryOur tour guide Ryan was incredibly knowledgeable of both the history of the caves as well as the city of St Paul and the gangster past. He was entertaining and energetic. This was my fourth tour of the caves. It never gets old. We have taken our grandchildren to Troll night which they enjoyed immensely.Written 25 September 2024
- CatherineK5080 contributionsDisappointing "history" tourAlthough most people on the tour seemed to enjoy it, we were quite disappointed. We were expecting a history tour and this seemed more like a one person (the tourguide) theatrical performance with requested audience participation, She was good at what she did but the theatrics went overboard at the expense of the history.Written 15 September 2024
- Ray S0 contributionsA must seeGreat story to hear. And it's pretty cheap for what you get to see and learn. It's 55 degrees inside so plan accordingly. No steps needed so ok for mobility chains and scooters. Children might be bored. Not a tradition cave with formations.Written 14 September 2024
- Kublakate0 contributionsInteresting & Funny TourKnowledgeable and very funny tour guide. Cool caves (it's actually a mine) with an interesting history. Lots of real gangster stories. Highly recommended. You should definitely consider bringing older kids. Our guide really incorporated a couple of kids into the tour in a way that was fun for everyone and not embarrassing for them. After the 'Cave Tour,' we did the Gangster Bus Tour. The Gangster tour was also a lot of fun with some interesting, weird, exciting, and funny gangster stories. We would rate that tour 4 / 5 stars because there isn't a lot to look at from the inside of a bus. Again, our guide was excellent and we had a lot of fun.Written 5 September 2024
- francesd7710 contributionsSt. Paul historic cave tourTour guide was fun & informative. The cave was a little disappointing. When they said Cave I was expecting to be in an actual cave that we could explore.Written 1 September 2024
- derimasteranders0 contributionsGreat History and EntertainmentExcellent tour and presentation by Debbie. I learned a lot about the history of economic and criminal activity in the city of St. Paul, and was thoroughly entertained by the charismatic storytelling. Was really cool to see the caves in person, including the dining hall setup from nearly a century ago!Written 27 August 2024
- bellemex0 contributionsWorth visitingSuper nice. I’d like to take my son. Small group. Some comedy. Very interesting history about St Paul. Nice and cool inside. Refreshing during the SummerWritten 11 August 2024

- Makenzie P0 contributions8/6/2024 ExperienceMy visit to Wabasha Caves was truly exceptional, largely due to our tour guide Deborah, who brought an engaging and informative touch to the experience. Initially, as a young couple, we were somewhat skeptical about the appeal of a cave tour. However, Deborah’s expertise and enthusiasm transformed our visit into a fascinating journey through local history. Her storytelling skills and deep knowledge of the caves made the historical tour both enlightening and enjoyable, far exceeding our expectations. I would highly recommend returning for the ghost tour to add a thrilling dimension to your experience. The combination of Deborah’s captivating historical insights and the eerie allure of the ghost tour offers a comprehensive and memorable adventure. Whether you're interested in learning about the past or seeking a spine-tingling experience, Wabasha Caves has something to offer.Written 6 August 2024
- jsbachop10 contributionsHistoric storytelling, a step back in time. This was a wonderful step into the past. I thank Edward out your guide for a great narration and storytelling. Recommend staying to the front of the group and bring a light jacket or something as it is a bit cooler than outside.Written 19 July 2024

SO we did the graveyards motor coach tour years ago, but have never been inside the caves. THIS was the year and it was pretty awesome. We went in with few expectations... I guess with the caves being such a fixture in St Paul, they get taken for granted. The cases are a very cool and special place - i highly recommend this tour. Our guide was a dead French maid and she was a pleasant surprise - humorous, informative and kept our interest the whole time. I particularly like history in my Halloween experiences and the character guides actually add a lot to the experience. Of my several fun experiences this haunting season, this tour is my favorite, GO!
