As a family (kids aged 12 & 14) we had a ton of fun in Branson. Shows, rides and fabulous food. However, visiting this museum was definitely the most informative part of our trip. We MUST teach our kids history so it doesn't repeat itself. As Regan said, "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction." We all were able to understand a bit more of the sacrifices our veterans have made for all of us. The names on the walls of all that have died was super humbling. We must never forget. We spent about 2 hours, and read most everything. We appreciated seeing all of the memorabilia from different wars. All of our family highly recommends this museum.

A wonderful experience that honors our military members. The museum is both informative and personal in a way I didn't expect. It has many uniforms with the pictures of the original military personnel who wore them that reminds one of the real men and women that make up the military. It was so interesting to see things I never thought about like military shaving kits, lice combs (for the trenches in WWI), and face masks for horses. The walls of faces and names were a reminder of how many people have given their lives in the last century. It's a fabulous place to visit, and the tickets are very reasonable and last for two days if one wants to go back.

The museum has a lot of displays among are military uniforms from the different periods and wars, these include Army, Navy, Airforce, Marines. Several weapons from the various periods of our history. One of the more interesting things are all of the names of the fallen from the wars that are on the walls inside the museum.
Outside and in front of the museum I loved the display of solders from WWII period in formation of twos marching with their weapons, one soldier from Connecticut even appeared to be wounded his head back and his rifle dropped to his knee.

The Museum has done an amazing job both inside and outside to honor our military personnel.

One of the best experiences. They really tell the story. You really feel like you were there as they have you walking through the time-line. My son was in tears by the end because he learned sooo much and it touched him down deep. It meant so much to see what our military service members have sacrificed first hand. Definitely recommend! Thank you for doin this right!

We visited this museum today. It is dedicated to veterans from WWI through the present. It was laid out very well with a lot of uniforms and artifacts. There were walls dedicated to those who died during each war, also.

I visited the Veterans’ Memorial Museum in Branson, Missouri and found an excellent place to learn more about the history of our military’s participation in World War I through the war in Afghanistan.

I have been to many war museums and what I found most interesting here was the focus on local (Missouri and surrounding states) members of the military and their efforts, contributions and sacrifices in support of their country.

The staff was courteous and knowledgeable.

This was our first time here. We enjoyed reading the stories of the service men and women who wore the uniforms that are on display. In addition to what was used during the wars. Then there's the walls of names lost during the wars. The names for WWII take up 3 walls in a room that's about 90' long, 20' wide & abt 18' tall.

Interesting museum but not as organized as I would have liked. I was surprised at how many WWI items and uniforms they had. I liked that all those items were grouped together in the first hall. I expected that each of the other wars would be similar, and the second hall was all WWII but after that it got a bit jumbled. It is as if they received additional items (and especially uniforms) and just put them where they could find a spot.
It was very impactful to have all the names of the men who died on the walls. Really shows what a sacrifice America has made to fight for the freedom of others.
