      Brilliant
This experience was amazing. I have been in a helicopter before but this one really stood out. We were picked up in a limo out side our hotel, champagne on arrival and the pilot was great. Talked us through each step and took our photos outside the helicopter. The limo also took us back to our hotel. Would highly recommend 😁

      What a blast!
What a blast! Joseph was a wonderful guide, making sure we were safely following along while making the buggy path, an adventurous one! We stopped halfway to go sand boarding. Wow - the views were spectacular! The best surprise was visiting the camel farm where we met baby camels! The cutest of them all. Thank you Joseph for a wonderful day!!

      Bucket list ticked
Absolutely amazing experience today on the champagne picnic helicopter flight down the Grand Canyon. Our pilot, John JS, was able to tell us historical stories and point out unique features of the landscape and details of historical sites. We were made to feel special right from the start in the limo and at the centre. We were very lucky to share our experience with 2 other British couples. Champagne picnic was tasty too. All in all an amazing day. Most highly recommended. Will return and will be doing this again 😊

      Amazing!
Amazing! My (now) husband proposed whilst we flew over the strip at night ! The pilot announced it over his mic and when we got down they gave us champers and our photo for free. The limo thst picked us up and dropped us back at the hotel was lovely. The views are amazing, don't go to Vegas without the helicopter ride!

Quick to take money, forever to get a refund
When I booked this tour for my family and I, they are quick to take the money out of your account. I had to cancel the tour due to high winds in the Grand Canyon area, and the gentleman that I spoke too on May 20, said that it will take 10-14 business days for the money to show back up on my credit card. I called on June 9th and the lady said that my money should have showed up at the end of the day that day… I call today on Friday June 11th, and the lovely lady said that it takes 1-3 business days to transfer over to my account… so I just want my $700 back in my account… how does one do that? Don’t book through adrenaline team if you may have to cancel due to weather…

      Beware of unprepared Pilot
We took the ride at 8:45pm. 6 of us. The view was beautiful, nothing wrong with it. The pilot was a nervous wreck.. He was telling us the helicopter can blow up if you drop your phone and you touch things. No ! This was not a joke. He also said "wow, look at all this traffic in the sky, so many out" - it's a special night- this is crazy. He said that all nervous like. He apologized to my mom at the end, told her sorry - safety is important to me. But dude, no one did anything....did he drink prior? He just seemed very odd. Someone needs to check on him. My mom is 70 and everyone was really quite and respectfully. He must of had PTSD from other riders. I say to company- please be aware of the pilots mental health after every ride. This was not good- I almost got out at the beginning because he started warning us about horrible things. So weird!

      Excellent
On our visit to Grand Canyon, we did the helicopter ride with Sundance Helicopters. On arrival we were taken to their counter by our guide. After submission of booking docs, we were asked to wait for our turn. It took us about 45 minutes till we were asked to walk to the helipad which was a 2 minutes walk from their office. The flying time was less than 1/2 hour and the ground staff & pilot were helpful and friendly. We had also booked Colorado river boat ride for which we were dropped at river base for a twenty minutes boat ride. We were then picked up again by the helicopter to take us over the Grand Canyon to the helipad. It was a great experience.

      Amazing experience over Grand Canyon
We had visited US with SOTC group and booked the tour from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon by bus with return via Hoover Dam. We had booked bus tour, helicopter tour and Colorado river boat ride. It was a truly amazing experience. We started from Vegas early morning around 9.00 and it was a nice drive of almost 45 minutes from our hotel to Grand Canyon through Sierra Nevada mountains and then to the Arizona state. On the way as you pass through the desert, you will see big Cactus trees all over. Upon arrival, our guide took us to the Sundance helicopter counter and after checking, we were asked to wait for our turn which took around 45 minutes wait. We were 4 people in the helicopter other than the pilot. We got the front seat which is always the best. It was a great experience to be hoovering over the Grand Canyon as we flew along. After 15 minutes we were dropped at the base from where we were to do our boat ride. The boat ride on Colorado river was nice and was for about 20 minutes. Then we again boarded the helipopter and it was about 10 minutes flight to the helipad. Needless to say that you get excellent view of the Grand Canyon from the helicopter and boat ride which are not visible from the Skywalk. It cost us $360 per person but worth it and included packed lunch. The ground staff of Sundance were helpful and the pilot as well. The whole tour took us almost 2 1/2 hours including waiting time. We then did the bus tour through the desert. The weather was very warm more than 40 degree C. Must carry hat and water.

      First Rate
We booked the sunset tour with a landing in the canyon. We got picked up from the hotel on time in a limousine. We then went and collected four other people and went to the airport. We were weighed in and given a safety briefing then we went to our helicopter. The pilot was first class, we were a bit apprehensive before but the flight was excellent. We had a bout half an hour once we had landed and were given a snack and a glass of something to drink . Then we flew back over the strip as the night was drawing in. A very enjoyable way to spend the afternoon. The only small fault was that our driver didn't wait to take us back, luckily another driver took us back. The whole experience was near faultless and would recommend Sundance without question

      The BEST trip ever!
If you are debating what tour to do, look NO further! This is the best experience you will ever have! This was worth every penny we paid and I would do it again. We had Brian and he was extremely accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. It was the best adventure we have ever been on and a time we will never forget. I was nervous about getting on a helicopter, but am so thankful I did it! Highly suggest doing the morning tour as it gets very hot in the afternoon. We went in September and did the 6:45am tour, watched the sunrise over the Grand Canyon wall. As we were leaving around noon it was getting to be unbearably hot. Wear comfortable clothes, shoes and water! You will need it!

      Worth the Splurge
This was by far a once in a lifetime and about the best money spent. We went for the package that included the heli flip, pontoon ride and a return hotel transfer. They sent a Limo to pick us up at 5:30am [we took the 6am flight option]. It took about 20 min to register and then we met the pilot and took off. Its approx 30 min to get there and you fly over the Hoover Dam and you can see the dam wall [but don't go near it]. The trip was as explained on their website. I must recommend going for the full package as well as the earlier flights - it gets really hot in the canyon and can't imagine being there pass noon. We were back at our hotel on the strip approx. 1/1:30 pm, if you need to know the total duration.

      BEST HELICOPTER TOUR
this was the best, you fly over several places and the pilot telling you each place. We flew inside the canyon and stopped to take picks and have a nice lunch.

      Highlight of our trip
We had the best time on our helicopter trip! We were picked up on time in the limo. There were only a couple more guests to pick up, but the journey was quick and a nice look round the city. We didn't have to wait too long to check in and get on our helicopter. We were shown a health and safety video and told all precautions. They seemed very concerned for our safety. Our pilot was nice and friendly. Amazing views, lovely weather. Picnic snacks and champagne were a lovely touch. All in all, definitely worth the money and I would highly recommend!

We had a limousine pick up from our hotel by Max. There was already 2 other couples on board. We had a short journey to the airport where Sundance operate from. Max saw us into the building and gave us advice about signing in. Registration was quick and easy. We were given wrist bands for Skywalk and badges to wear over our necks outlining our package and our pilot (Alex). There was a 30 minute wait during which were shown a short safety video before Alex introduced himself and took us out to the helicopter. We are a party of 3 and we were joined by another party of 3. Alex did another safety briefing before we boarded. We were lucky to sit up front on the way out. There was pre-recorded commentary that we listened to via the noise cancelling headphones and really good choice of music. Alex also provided some nuggets of information as he piloted. At the skywalk Alex introduced us to Richard and Doug, our guides for the experience. They took us down to the main area, a short drive from the helicopter port. We were told that we would have approximately 45 minutes on site. Our guides were friendly and knowledgeable. You are only allowed to take self out onto skywalk so all bags, cameras, phones etc are secured in individual lockers. Foot protection is then provided before we embarked on the experience. A running commentary accompanied our trip around the walk, along with a photographer who took official photos. The actual experience is fantastic. You do need to be brave. It really does test the senses and your nerves but is very, very safe. Once our walk was concluded and we had retrieved our possessions, we went to view photos. Included in our package was 3 free photos, that we chose from the 15 that taken. However, we opted to buy the set that were put on USB flash drive at a total cost of 50 dollars. We then went outside to take in the view and some more photos before leaving. I don't know that we had the 45 minutes promised, it felt a little rushed once we came off skywalk. On our journey back we sat in rear seats so the other party had the opportunity to experience the pilots view. again, pre-recorded commentary, great music and input from Alex. We had about 20 minute wait on arrival for limousine pick up before being dropped off at our hotel. On top of just over £300 each for the experience, which I had no problems paying (as when would we get this opportunity again), the next big expense was the tipping. Two limo drivers, pilot and 2 guides. Be prepared.

We did this trip today. Collected from hotel in a limo for short drive to airport. After a short safety briefing, we were off for the 45 flight to the Canyon. Our pilot, Ryan, was lovely and very knowledgeable about the area and history. We flew over the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead before seeing the spectacular sights of the canyon, and took some fantastic photos. As we landed, we were met by Gladys, our guide, who took us to the Skywalk. There, we skipped the queue and went straight onto the skywalk for photos before giving us free time there and on the surrounding cliffs to take in the incredible views of the canyon and Eagle Point. We had time to look around the gift shop too before being taken back down to the helicopter for the flight back. Again, Ryan gave us information on what we were flying over, finishing with a flight over the strip before landing back at the airport,
We were recommended to use Sundance and they did not disappoint. It isnt cheap, but was worth every cent. The personal touches made it extra special - the limo pick up and drop off, skipping the skywalk queue and being looked after by our own guide. Would highly recommend this trip. Thanks especially to Ryan our pilot for such an interesting and enjoyable experience.

    Excellent experience and customer service.
Our pilot Rafael was very good, an experienced pilot and friendly.

The view from the Skywalk and canyon rim are stunning.

The company manager gave my wife a bottle of champagne when he heard it was her 50th birthday trip. Excellent limo pick-up service.

It's not cheap but in our opinion worth every penny (cent) as it's a top-notch
    "bucket-list" experience.

If you have never been in a helicopter or have never seen the Grand Canyon, then the tour would be OK, but if you have, then give this a miss. The Skywalk is a joke and the views from the helicopter are too quick and high up to get much appreciation for what you are seeing. Take a roller coaster ride in LV for more thrills. This trip is WAY over priced and it is a disappointment.

We booked a trip on line with Sundance helicopters at around 2.00pm on the 5/12 2017, I received confirmation, of a 5.20am pick up on the 6/12. We turned up at the time, no show from Sundance, so gave them a call, you know the next part, sorry due to lack of people your tour is cancelled, we have tried to contact you? I had zero missed calls on my cell, they could offer me nothing else except a late tour with picnic, or another date, which was no use as we leave on the 7/12. So I took a refund, which takes 7 to 10 days, really? I checked my emails and found a cancellation mail sent just 30 mins after my confirmation, would you really expect to find that after just booking? The system needs some update, my advice is be very careful with these guys, they can just cancel your trip when ever they feel like it, see terms & conditions. Not a happy chap - Andy Easey

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I am sorry to learn of any disappointment this matter caused you. We do require a minimum of 4 passengers to travel. Regretfully, there are rare occasions when we do not meet this requirement and we must reschedule passengers. During rescheduling we make every attempt to accommodate our passengers. However, we can only offer what is available based on our passenger’s availability. As you stated in your review, an email was sent with alternative dates and tours. While we truly regret any inconvenience this matter caused you, we are disappointed you were unable to travel with us. Best wishes, Stacy Whitehead Customer Service Manager

Fantastic trip out to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas. We were collected in a limo from our hotel, jumped in a helicopter (just flying in a helicopter is a thrill), flew over the Hoover Dam, over the Grand Canyon, we landed to do the Skywalk which was ace (jumped the line), then we also got to see the Las Vegas strip on the way back to the terminal. Our pilot Fred was very informative and really enhanced the experience. This is quite an expensive trip but my wife and I felt it was worth every penny. The views were amazing, really enjoyable, no hassle or waiting around, a mind blowing experience that we will treasure. Thanks all at Sundance.

Not minutes after we paid to get into the sky walk the weather changed and rain was coming. They closed the skywalk and did not offer a refund. We still got a great view of the Grand Canyon while we waited in the rain for the bus to take us back to the parking area, but, we paid to get onto the Sky Walk.

This tour is fantastic, the scenery from helicopter is spectacular, everything was so efficient with no time wasting but yet you still felt you had enough time to relax and really enjoy all the experience. We stayed 4 nights in Vegas so this trip suited us as we wanted more time to enjoy the city. I did this tour on my 40th birthday & would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a memorable experience.

Our pilot was Fred, and our guide at the Skywalk was Shirley, both were excellent!

I would highly recommend this trip if you want to see the Grand Canyon from the air and do the Skywalk. From Hotel pick-up to drop off it's about 4 hours, meaning if you do the morning flight you arrive back in time for lunch! Doing the trip in March seems to be a bit of a crap-shoot as my flight got rescheduled twice (once due to not enough people and once due to bad weather). However when we did fly the cooler weather meant a much nicer experience at the Canyon than I had had before.

You get around 30 minutes at the Skywalk, which might feel a little rushed. But it is well organised with a van to pick you up, skip-the-line passes (although in March there was no line), and a photographer to take pics (you can't take your own pictures on the Skywalk, in fact you have to store your cameras / cell phones before you step on). You get one free print, but if you want more you can pay for them. A USB drive with all the pictures is $50, which seems expensive, but that's the Skywalk's policy, not Sundance. Just be warned to add this to your budget.

All the staff were great from the limo driver, to the check-in personnel, Fred our pilot was friendly and explained everything well, and Shirley our tour guide was a pleasure.

All in all this is definitely a luxury trip, but if you have your heart set on the Skywalk and limited time it's a great way to do it.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. You described our Skywalk Express tour perfectly! I would agree with your weather comment. March can be a bit of hit or miss when it comes to the weather. One day it is a nice day with 70 degree temperatures and the next day there is snow falling at the canyon. I am glad to know we were able to reschedule your tour and you were able to travel with us. I will share your kind words for Shirley and pilot Fred with our management team in order to recognize them for a job well done. We appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again on a future tour! Take care, Stacy Whitehead Customer Experience Manager
