    inspiring, fun show
the show was very inspiring and motivational , fun and not typical magician show. David is a true showman, very entertaining and professional to combine magician and engaging audiences at the same time . i saw many kids 8+ with their parents and they were enjoying and engaging the entire show( i was sometimes observing other people since i went by myself ) . highly recommend and will go again next time i visit LasVegas

Old tired show Retire today David Copperfield
Shockingly bad. Was expecting David Copperfield - not a tired old bored entertainer. Theme of missing his deceased father was depressing. I don’t want to be depressed in Las Vegas. Obvious “plants” in the audience that were unbelievable. Disrespectful and talked down to the audience members. Profanity towards audience members. DC was bored and read from cue cards. Lots of filler and not enough magic. Used blackouts, special effects and bright lights in our faces to disguise his “tricks” many of which were tired, old and lame. Too loud in parts. The alien sketch was long, drawn out and hokey. Staff popped up in the audience to clap and get the audience to clap. Didn’t appreciate the attempt at forced clapping. Too much time wasted at beginning of show to threaten audience (repeatedly) not to take photos and videos. Attempts to force audience to put their phones in black boxes. Audience treated like children. Worst show I’ve ever attended. Embarrassing that MGM sponsors this show. Retire DC - at this point you are milking we fools who paid money to see you. Never Again.

The greatest magician I have ever seen.
David Copperfield is a must see. He is amazing! He uses audience participation in all of his magic tricks. This was my first time to see him and it was a great experience!

Unforgettable & Unmissable - The #1 Illusionist By Far
I have always loved watched magic and David Copperfield since I was little. I have seen this show a few times now and it still does not disappoint whatsoever - on my last visit I was even on stage with David! You can tell how well rehearsed and thought out the show is, and the amount of work that goes into it, especially of a man who is nearly 70. The experience is incredible and like no other magic show; everyone should get to experience at least one of his shows in their lifetime. He is extremely professional and deserves every bit of success he has achieved through his hard work.

    Amazing but also so so
His illusions and tricks are amazing but him and the theme of the show not so much. he is not very entertaining however what he does will awe you. Even my typically jaded 15 yo grandson was impressed. Do not plan on taking pictures or even using your phone for anything, they watch like hawks.

    Very good show
Very nice show. We had a lot of fun. It was an interactive show with the crowd. There was a trick done right before my eyes and i still can’t explain it. I was so happy I choose to go to this show

    Do not waste your money
Was expecting so much from this show and was really disappointed. The "illusions" were very obvious and the show was not entertaining at all. It is an ok show for the kids. Better off watching a cirque du soleil show like KA.

We were very excited about attending this show and came away so disappointed. We've seen him 4 times before and this was the worst show we saw all weekend and for how much the tickets are it wasn't worth it. Definitely won't attend it again!

The staff there is really on the "must wear a mask" every second while at the same time offering alcohol beverages. It's very hypocritical because they want to make the money off of the overprice alcohol beverages but at the same time harass you as you take a drink. If you had your drink in your hand taking a second to actually swallow it they were at your table harassing you interrupting the flow of the show. Either don't sell the drinks and just enforce everybody wearing a mask or use common sense to let people enjoy their overprice beverages.

The staff really ruin the show for us and we didn't enjoy the magical experience like we have in the past. His show is completely different and I felt it got a little "cheesy."

I would recommend many other shows like Absinthe, Jabbawaukeez or Brad Garrett's Comedy Club than this show. We saw all 4 of these shows over the weekend and really enjoyed the others because their staff used common sense.

I was excited to visit vegas for the second time, 1st was more than 10 yrs ago. Copperfield was my 1st show to consider for this trip since its David Copperfield that can make a car disappear on stage. He was funny and engaging and the story was touchy but THAT WAS IT. Everything else was the worst tricks ever, they are all based on stupid technological papers that after he gets the words and the numbers from the audience then his team takes abt 5 min to edit the template. He disappeared from stage and with dark pitch theater he "magically" appeared about 30 sec later in the back of stage, i was shocked, it's really stupid, unless it's ur first magic show ever and u r stupid, u will be impressed. And the worst trick was popping a balloon, r u kiding me, i went all the way to vegas to watch david Copperfield magically pop a balloon? Omg, that was really bad.

I do not recommd this show, it is old and should ve retired go spend ur money on the new magic showes, David Copperfield is not worth it anymore.

Wasn’t great… apart from the appearing objects, such as car & bike, the rest of the ‘magic’ or ‘illusions’ were shocking. The ‘disappearing man’, we literally watched a team member escort the ‘disappearing man’ away under a black sheet. The little green alien, we thought we were at a childrens show - almost embarrassing to watch. For the price, the location, and the reputation of David Copperfield, it was simply a waste of time, a waste of money and left a group of 8 of us feeling like we could have spent our time and money elsewhere. The street performers are better than this…

This was recommended to us, but I do not recommend this to anyone.

And to finish off, the blow up ‘20 Tonne blow up space ship’ was the cherry on top of an embarrassing show.

Go elsewhere and find a real illusionist.

I have seen a lot of Vegas shows in my time but this one is the worst ! Puppets and spaceships come on you can do better than that . The tricks were just okay but with a big headliner like David Copperfield I was expecting a whole lot more especially with the price charged for the ticket.
Would not recommend when there is so many other shows to see . This one would be bottom if the list .

Highly Unrecommended.
1 flying saucer and 1 small E T and 1 t-Rex dinosaur. The man is selling $$$ himself through his lost childhood story on stage. Walks around like he lost. Boring
Wants everyone at the show to clamp there hands together to produce a signature sign
Of a signature of Description a Asmodeus
pentagram: the Archstar and he says that it is the love signature.
Best to stay away from these Black Magic shows like Chris Angel also.

Even though his illusions were amazing the show was so lacking in energy and spontaneity that it was boring and painful to watch. Mr. Copperfield looked miserable and as bored as the rest of us. He either raced through his script so quickly that at times it was hard to catch what he was saying or visibly read from a script that was hidden from audience view in front of an animatron alien. He was demeaning (not in a humorous way) to several audience members (especially those who didn't speak English very well). We really had high hopes about this show because of Mr. Copperfield's reputation as an amazing magician and performer and because of other reviews that were very positive. Unfortunately we were disappointed.

David Copperfield needs to retire. He is unenthusiastic, filled with Botox, and his show is so old and uninspiring. Nothing impressive about it and it shows that this show has become monotonous for him and his staff. The insincere story line about loosing his pet dinosaur is tired and we were yawning 3 minutes into the show. If you are younger than 60, you will hate this show. Please don't purchase any tickets so perhaps he will retire and better shows with enthusiastic entertainers will quickly fill this space. I wish I could get my money back.

This marks the third opportunity we have had to see David Copperfield. He never disappoints. Each time I buy tickets, I worry that I will just be seeing a repeat of a previous show, but the tricks and artistry were all brand new. He is amazing in every way. He captures the attention of the audience from the begining of the show, and you are scared to look away for fear of missing something sensational.

I’m a big fan of MGM LasVegas entertainment. It’s usually flawless and well worth the price of admission. I wish I felt the same about this act. I don’t know what I was expecting but it was pretty hokey, especially for an all adult audience.

Don’t get me wrong... The illusions were amazing. The engineering behind the illusions was top notch however the story lines were tired and forced.

David’s narcissistic journey included him speaking to a blue Alien animatronic doll that looked like a combination of Yoda and ET combined with the magician’s forced longing to be reconnected with his dead father through time travel.

I considered walking out due to a sinking feeling of boredom and insult but stayed. To say it was a complete waste of time would not be accurate because the illusions were amazing but it was not worth the time and money invested.

I would recommend KA while at MGM. Take a pass on this one.

Very disappointing experience. Lots of great reviews for this show for a highly regarded performer did not pan out for us. We booked seats near the front of the stage (the first seats behind the tables) and it was a HUGE waste of money. We expected to have a great view of the performance since we were so close, but David Copperfield spent half the show performing BEHIND us. Since there were 4 of us at this small table, it was extremely awkward to keep turning around to see what was going on. Granted, it was also being projected on the screen in front of us, but we paid to see a LIVE performance. We would have been far better off getting seats near the back of the theater.

We also didn't really jump onto the "storyline" of the performance, that David presented. It included an alien and time travel. I understand he was trying to frame his magic around a story but it didn't go over with us. Little magic, Much talking about the story and dragging almost everyone from the audience up on the stage. After the 10-15 minutes of "instructing" us on all the ways NOT to use your phone for pictures, the main event was just under an hour.

Disappointed.
