- D4650YAdavidk0 contributionsBrewery, Dam and ComedyThis was a great tour and well worth the money! A private driver picked us up at our hotel and toured my wife and I to the Hoover Dam and three breweries, one in Boulder, one in Henderson and one in Vegas on brewery row. Finishing up with a comedy show and a ride back to our hotel. We had a great day sightseeing, tasting incredible beer and laughing at with the comedians. This tour was worth every penny and I would recommend it to anyone! Cheers to Jeff our informative accommodating driver from the Wisconsin Cheese HeadsWritten 10 December 2024
- U9875EHcharliec0 contributionsBeautiful dayThis was so enjoyable…. The first half of the trip was rapids. We were in a motorized boat so all we had to do was hang on. We stopped for lunch which they provided then the second half was a very relaxing enjoyable ride through the canyons on the Colorado River. AMAZINGWritten 2 June 2024
- debbiehD9741ZH0 contributionsAwesome experienceFantastic day spent on the Colorado River with Kyle as our guide. Although the bus getting to the river was very bumpy, Tom our bus driver was very informative, with many stops to look at various plants and explanations of the terrain. The rapids included a class 7 which was awesome. Tour was pricey buy worth it.Written 10 May 2024
- Peacekat0 contributionsCould be betterThis tour could be awesome, but for us it was just ok. I am not going to review the beers or the breweries, just the “tour” We were picked up about 1/2 an hour early at our hotel, then went to get another couple from theirs, We stopped at a brewery in Boulder City on the way to the Hoover Dam, but there was no place for us to sit and they did not seem to be expecting us so we left and headed to the dam. We were asked a couple times if we really wanted to go to the dam, since we had never been there and one of the reasons we picked this tour was because it went to the dam and to breweries outside of Las Vegas we said we did want to go there. It took a few minutes to get thru the dam security gate, there was something expired but the driver and the dam attendant worked it out and we were allowed to enter. The driver asked us if we wanted to to “go up the steps”…since we had never been there and we had no idea what to expect we said yes. We walked up a bunch of steps & about halfway across a bridge for a good look at the dam from the Pat Tillman Bridge. When we got back to the van I think the driver was sleeping. We got back in the van and drove around the dam a bit, the driver asked if we wanted to get out and do anything else, but again…since we had never been there we had no idea where to go or what to do so we said no, let’s head to some breweries instead. I’m pretty sure the driver wanted to head straight back to Vegas, but we wanted to hit breweries in Boulder City and Henderson. We could get to the ones in Vegas without a tour. We went back to Boulder City Brewing, there was an available table inside so we sat there. It kind of got weird here thou, the driver said we could order a flight or a beer and said he’d be back in about 45 minutes. The server asked us about food, so we had to ask the driver if food was included at this stop. He said we could order 2 apps to share, there were 3 ppl in my group and one other couple. They didn’t want to eat yet, but we did so we ordered and shared. The driver came back about 45 minutes later and said he would pay the bill, but the tips at all the locations would be up to us. After that, the driver again mentioned heading straight back to Vegas, but we wanted to go the places advertised as part of the tour. We convinced him to take us to a brewery in Henderson. Again, we were left alone to order and it seemed like the brewery was not expecting us. When we left that stop and headed back to Vegas, we figured out the reason for wanting to skip the dam and the other breweries…traffic. It took so long to get back that the driver didn’t think we’d make the comedy show. But we had time to squeeze one Vegas brewery in, we slammed our beers and hustled to the Strat for the comedy show. Which was freaking hilarious, we all had a fun time there. Some things to note: there was no food offered anywhere after that first stop, so eat there. The driver did mention he was helping the owner out because 2 of the drivers had quit. We thought it was odd to be left on our own at the breweries. We’ve been on other tours where the driver is quite tour guide-y with local historical info about the area and the breweries, but this tour was not like that. Also, the van smelled like smoke, for a bunch of non-smokers that was unpleasant. This tour could be great, but it was a meh for us. If we ever go back to Vegas, we will have to figure out another way to visit all the breweries.Written 24 March 2024

- I9457SWjohnh0 contributionsexcellent tourThey drove me from Las Vegas and back around 2.5 hours each way. Everyone involved was great my van driver from Vegas to the lodge and I conversed entire way, the bus driver down to the river shared stories let us get off to take pictures of the canyon. The Hualapai boat captains were thoroughly knowledgeable and professional. The was more physical than my "mature" body expected hopping up and down off the motorized rafts and crawling up the canyon to visit a spring. But well worth time and money adventure.Written 3 October 2023
- kirab3480 contributions5 Stars, Hoover Dam, Beer & Comedy!!This was a great tour and well worth the money! A private shuttle to Hoover Dam and multiple brewery stops on the way back to Vegas...hard to beat! Finishing up with a comedy show and included ride back to our hotel was amazing. - lesdueno10 contributionsAWESOME!Everything about this trip was awesome! It was myself my husband and my 78 year old mother (she's done this before and insist we do this before she's not able) She did great, and enjoyed it very much. The guys were great everyone of them was so helpful and friendly. We did the 2 day 1 night and it was simply breathtaking! The Grand Canyon is so beautiful and majestic. Lenard, Walker, Jordan and Taylor were so nice and took such good care of everyone on the trip. These guys cooked us dinner & breakfast. It was all very good. I think everyone should experience the Grand Canyon in this way. The rapids were awesome! I can't wait to do it again!Written 10 September 2020

- SoloYOLO720 contributionsDay trip to Western Rim - White Water Rafting & Helicopter AscentMy 2 teenage boys and I loved this tour! I highly recommend this for company for the transportation to and from West Rim - avoid big bus...ride in comfort & relax knowing they’ve got it. White water rafting & helicopter was amazing - do both! Ron was a great driver - he ensured we had quiet when we wanted to nap and offered some history & stories when we wanted to chat. He was prompt, a safe driver, and friendly.Written 10 June 2019
- Catherine M0 contributionsLets Go Tours/Grand Canyon Tour Company All-Day White Water RaftingIt was a Once-in-a-Lifetime Trip! Ron, our driver, provided excellent conversation and knew the best places to stop for breakfast. He narrated the history of the area. We were picked up at our Hotel at 0430; and the van even had pillows to help us sleep. There was a cooler full of water bottles. The ride to the Hualapai Indian Lodge went smoothly, then we took an old school bus for a bumpy one-hour ride down the canyon to the Colorado River. There we met our boat guide, Joseph, one of the members of the tribe. He was very competent, patient, and knowledgable of the history of the river. At no time did we feel unsafe, the the rapids were levels 3-7 along the way! The water temp was only 45 degrees F, and the outdoor temperature was 112 degrees F. The first dousing was definitely breathtaking! Several miles into the river run, Joseph stopped us alongside the other rafts so we could hike up into a beautiful waterfall. At the end of the river run, we met a helicopter for a thrilling ride about 5000 feet vertical to lift us out of the canyon. Ron met us at the small airport where the helicopters unloaded, and we were on our way back to Las Vegas. We arrived about 1830; just as advertised although we had stopped along the way to take pictures on the bridge overlooking the Hoover Dam. This trip was worth every penny we spent! If you go, ask for Ron and remember, most waterproof bags don't survive the submersion(s) you will experience from the level 7 rapids. Take a tip for the boat driver and the tour guide - they earn it!!!!Written 1 July 2015

Great way to see the canyon and very happy we did this rather than simply look over the edge. Reason for not giving 5 stars… paying over £500 each and then having to pay for breakfast at a Denny’s as well as our boat seemed to sink in the water so we were absolutely soaking even on the flat water and sometimes the spray was so bad you had to keep your eyes closed. The other boats didn’t have this problem so not sure if it was a weight issue is our boat!

It was an amazing experience. The rapids were great and the views of the canyon were one of the best experiences I've had. Dale, our guide, did a great job explaining some of the geography and rapids of the canyon and
told many interesting stories about the Hualapai native people which added another great element to the trip.

We took the river rafting trip for my husband's 60th birthday. We had so much fun! The rapids were amazing! We were soaked from the get-go and couldn't stop laughing. Jeff picked us up early at our Vegas hotel. He supplied pillows so we napped until we stopped for a nice breakfast at Black Bear Diner. Then, onto the Hualapai lodge to catch the River Runner's bus. It was quite the ride down into the Canyon on a bumpy gravel road. Beautiful drive with a few stops for photos that were narrated by the driver. We were on the water from 9:30-3:30 with a stop at the Falls and for lunch. Our guides, Elias and John, were great and very knowledgeable about the Canyon's history. There is so much visually to take in. The geography is breathtaking. We were exhausted at the end from all the fresh air and waves! We slept on the way back and arrived at our hotel around 6pm. What a great way to celebrate a birthday! Sit back and hold on tight, you're in for an awesome ride!

Ron (Driver) was prompt and friendly. Our Hualapai Indian guides were knowledgable about the river and the canyon. The vantage point from the river is a breath taking way to see the canyon.
YOU DO NOT PADDLE -This trip is on a raft with an engine.
I reached out to the tour company for more detailed information about the trip so I could pack from home (traveling to Vegas) with anything I might need. Some of the information could easily be made available on the website. They were courteous in answering all of my questions.
Go Pro's were available for rent from driver. (Option should be included on website).
Helicopter ride out was and option. Everyone on my trip had taken this option but me. I felt a little pressure to do this on the day of trip. If I hadn't, everyone else would have had to wait/drive an extra hour to come get me down river. I was told it adds another 19 miles to the river trip.
They should make those options more clear at sign up/registration.
It was great day, fun and educational.

I can’t say enough great things about this trip. Our driver, Ron, was prompt and so friendly and mailed us back a shirt we left behind. He provided ziplock bags for anyone wanting to take stuff with them. The raft trip was fantastic and after we were done with the rapids, Patricia told us about local history and showed us points of interest. On another tour we were unimpressed with the lunch (a basic sandwich), but on this tour it was a delicious feast! Fresh everything along with plenty of snacks and plenty of stuff for vegetarians. It started to rain and the temperature dropped and they pulled out sleeping bags to keep us dry and warm. There were 9 of us, and EVERYONE said it was the highlight of the vacation. You will get wet, but make yourself more comfortable by bringing a lightweight (unlined) waterproof rain jacket and put it on under your life jacket. We also brought slip on “pool shoes” for $5 at Walmart which worked great on the raft and the waterfall hike. You can leave your cell phone on the bus, but consider a waterproof or disposable camera. These people deserve a great tip, so bring an appropriate amount of cash. You stop for breakfast on the way, so have cash or a credit card for that too. You will not be disappointed. Look no further!!!

Well organised, good communication (thanks Randy) excellent memories, a must do!
This was our second time doing this awesome experience! If you're staying near the strip be prepared for an early start that is absolutely worth it.
We had a 4am pickup from Vdara hotel and when we got the the Hualapai lodge, there was around an hour's bumpy journey down to the river.
Once there we got our life jackets on, put our valuables in the dry bags and set off down the river with our excellent, and very knowledgeable guide, Brady.
We hit 8 rapids, and a few ripples that felt like rapids! They were so fun and the water was like ice! When that first wall of ice water hit us, it took our breath away.
Part way down we stopped off to have a little hike and climb into the cave with a waterfall inside. It was beautiful up there so be sure to take a camera.
After the rapids we had a long time on flat water with a stop off for lunch and a swim.
Thankfully I brought my own food as no vegan option was provided for me even though it was mentioned twice on the booking we made through Viator. If you have any special requests I'd recommend contacting them directly to make sure the message gets through.
Lunch was perfect for my partner as she prefers plain food and the sauce came separately to the ham and cheese sandwich.
A little further along we were allowed to get off and have a swim again. The water is very cold and lovely in the blazing heat so I would recommend having that dip.
Couple of things to note to make it as enjoyable as possible.
You will get wet! Dress appropriately and consider dry fit underwear as travelling back to the hotel with a soggy bottom isn't the most comfortable thing to do.
Sun protection will wash off so be prepared to reapply regularly!
I wore clothes that covered my whole body so only had the top of my feet burn thankfully.
Eye protection needed as you will get grit in your eyes.
The water is cold and will take your breath away when that wave crashes over you, after that it's not as much of a shock when it hits.
Wear grippy shoes for the climb. I wore crocs but will invest in proper canyoning shoes for next time.
Go pro users, learn from our mistakes.
Take spare batteries in a waterproof case.
Wrist mount is probably the best option for front views as ours is pretty much all on the couple facing us on the raft.
Secure your camera or risk losing it. Don't make the mistake of another passenger and not secure your GoPro. His flew up and amazingly, his guide caught it! Lucky guy!
We are looking forward to doing this again when we return next year. Thanks Brady for an awesome experience

The experience was great, with the exciting rapid followed by the scenic views from the waterfall hike and the peaceful ride out of the canyon. While it was an early start at 4:00am the driver was great turning up with pillows and a wonderful breakfast at Dennys.

I booked this tour several months in advance. The advertised tour was for transportation from Las Vegas to The Colorado river, white water rafting adventure on the Colorado River, and a short helicopter ride out of the canyon. The cost was $649. I booked and paid in full.
When I arrived, I was told there is no helicopter available that day. the liability paperwork I filled out stated $99 would be refunded if the helicopter ride out was not available that day. After the tour, I contacted Lets Go Grand Canyon Tours about the refund, I was called names and hung up on. Safe yourself the time and aggravation of being charged for services not delivered. The company they drop you off at for the white water rafting is HUALAPAI RIVER RUNNERS. Book the river rafting adventure directly with them for $399.
The transport driver was great!
The HUALAPAI RIVER RUNNERS guides were absolutely fantastic!
Lets GO Grand Canyon Tours company is a fraud!
All this happened in September 2022. The owner of Lets GO Grand Canyon Tours said the helicopter rides still be listed on the website was a mistake, they stopped offering it 1+ years ago. It has been 3 months and the helicopter ride out is STILL listed on his website as part of this package.

This young woman was needless to say, difficult. She is correct that the info is on my direct website. It is not on Viators. She is incorrect that anyone called names and after 15 minutes of explaining how it all works she still wanted to be refunded for a helicopter flight she never paid or was charged for. I told her if I had charged her for a helicopter flight I would gladly give her 90 dollars, not 99 as she states (actually $199). Sometimes in October their are discounts given by the Native Americans that I am not allowed to partake in. or am even aware of. It's not right but that's the way they've always done it for 30 years. I have not been offereing helicopter flights for over 3 years. I do offer it if they are flying to the customers if they wish to purchase the additional $199. The flights for 2022 had been cancelled since late April. The price they currently charge for adding a helicopter is 199.00 per person. 90 dollars is an antiquated price that she got from the Native American waivers as it's not listed on any site. We charge for the transportation. Our customers that want to self drive from Vegas will not return arrive back in las vegas until 11:00 at night. Using our flawless transportation for 13 years we get you back in town by 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. This is what you pay for. Fuel is expensive. You could always self drive but you'll lose an evening in Las Vegas and risk driving home when extremely tired. This fine young lady could have avoided all of this negativitity and hateful rhetoric if she could understand the fact SHE WAS NEVER CHARGED $200 for a 6 minute flight. She kept screaming about $90 and wouldn't hangup until I re-imbursed the money. I concede that I did finally grow weary of her threats so I told her goodbye and hung up the phone. Some people are not able to be dealt with. Like I say, If I had charged her anythning for a service she did not receive I would gladly give her the money back as I don't get charged for the service. She's being unfair and infantic. Just a sidenote for all you would be Helicopter fans... It's not worth $200 dollars. It's a 6 minute flight vertically for 3,000 feet, not a sightseeing flight in any way. It is just an egress from the bottom to the top. We have not offered it for over 3 years as part of the package as it's gotten ridiculously too expensive and it's actual value to the package at that price is negative. We do a good job always have and always will. This year has been tough as the Native Americans are having a hard time finding employees so there is much less seating available. If you are planning on going this next year don't hesitate to book as if you wait too long, I guarantee you it won't be available. This young woman who had her father call me, was incapable of listening, incapable of understanding and was focused on money. It's a Shame as she only gave us 2 stars. She loved the tour and tipped her guide. She was only focused on her 90 dollars as opposed to saying I understand. Sad.

I booked this tour on line after looking for something different and exciting while in Vegas. The white water rafting tour did NOT disappoint! If more information was given on the website they would sell out everyday. We were picked up from the Flamingo at exactly 4:15am by Ron in a passenger van loaded with pillows and bench seats. ALL of us slept for most of the ride. The website mentions a 3 hour drive to Arizona but this is broken up in sections. Like I mentioned, all of us went to sleep as the sun was rising. We stopped for an hour long breakfast at a Denny's on Route 66! Ron was a fantastic host as he explained points of interest along the way. He would stop for photo opportunities as well. The next stop was at the reservation where we checked in and hopped on a bus for the half hour ride to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. We got into our boats at 9am. The rapids ranged from Class 4 to Class 8. The water was 40 degrees and I must say "very refreshing". Those who sit in the front of the boat will be doused as sheet after sheet of icy water slams into you as you go through the rapids. This is not a ride for anyone with physical limitations. Going on this tour while severely hung over is NOT a wise decision. We went in early May. It was over 90 degrees in the canyon. The icy water was refreshing but we quickly warmed up. Surprise!!!! There is a hidden waterfall!!! REALLY? I must have missed this on the website. We climbed ashore and were absolutely delighted to find ropes drilled into the cliffs to help us climb up to the waterfall. I had no idea what I would find at the end of the journey but it took my breath away. ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE CLIMB! Did I mention this tour is not for those with limited mobility or those who are hung over? Yeah. It was a workout but we entered a cave at the top and heard the running water and just stopped in our tracks to take in the magnificence. TAKE YOUR CAMERAS but enclose them in a waterproof bag. After the breath taking waterfall we rafted further down the river and stopped for a rugged lunch. Sandwiches, chips, veggies and Kool-aid. Be sure to take ALL of your trash. The sheer magnificence of the Grand Canyon is a wonder to behold. The rapids ended before lunch. The next 3 hours of the journey is through the heart of the Grand Canyon. There are no words to describe the grandeur as you cruise the Colorado river looking up at the 4500 foot cliffs over your head. We saw the river transition from beautiful turquoise blue to muddy brown as the terrain changed towards the last hour of the journey. The boat drivers were very professional, courteous and experienced. You can choose to cut off the last hour of the boat trip by taking a helicopter out of the canyon. WHY would you do this you may ask? Well if you've never been on a helicopter it is amazing. You've just spent 5 hours on the river taking in the Grand Canyon from the bottom. The helicopter will show you the views from the top. You an add an option to go to the skywalk. We chose to stay on the river and I just have to say it is an exhausting day. It was very hard to stay awake for the last few hours on the river. The calm boat ride, the hum of the boat engine and the physical energy it took to climb to the waterfall took its toll. Despite the magnificent scenery, my eyes were closing of their own accord. Ron was waiting at the end with that same comfy van and pillows to take us back to the hotel. And again....ALL of us fell asleep.
DO NOT MISS THIS TOUR. 10 of us went to Vegas. Only 3 went on this tour. They weren't excited about spending an entire day away from the pool. IT WAS WORTH IT. IT WAS WORTH IT.

Wow, what a day we had. Our driver Ron couldn't possibly be any better. He was kind, funny, went way out of his way to help us, and gave great advice. Perfect. The boat trip was incredible. Our river guide was Tyler, and he was perfect too. SOO funny, and took great pleasure in telling us stories of the river and stirring us up. He had a wonderful laugh and was so friendly to everyone on the river that it made my day to see such warmth towards so many. The rapids! OMG what fun! It was a little scary, but more exhilarating than anything else. You should definitely have water shoes, and a very light raincoat to give you some protection as you'll definitley get drenched. And it's frelling cold. After the water adventure it was topped off by my first ever helicopter ride. Not friendly, just a ride, but the view was of course wonderful. The trip back to our hotel with Ron again was a joy. We came back to our room high on the day. Can't recommend it enough.

Is there a weight limit? Some say you need to climb in and out of raft. Are we in deep water when doing this or on shore? Do you advise bringing towels?

I have two adults that would like to reserve a spot, but we are doing it from different geographic locations and paying as individuals. How do we insure our reservation will put us in the same boat?

The people who run the tour are so helpful…… just let them know and I’m sure they will put you together!!! But it will also depend on how many ppl you have in your group…… I think there are about 10 ppl per boat.
