It was a great experience. It was our first time in a helicopter. I recommend it. However, there are a few things that you should be aware of. 1. It's hard to find the place using a navigation app. Follow the instructions provided by the company. Drive by during the day if you can. 2. The folks are super helpful and curtious. Be nice to them. We got lost and missed our time slot. They agreed to let us take a later time slot so we didn't lose our money. We had to wait awhile until they could fit us in. The chopper only held 6 people plus the pilot. So, they needed two open seats. 3. Your weight is important. They have to balance the load in the chopper. Everyone gets weighed when they check in. 4. Some seats are better than others. Be prepared. Left side by the window is best. Right side by the window or the next seat to the left of it prevents you from getting good pictures. My wife was by the left window, back seat. I was next to her (to the right) and took most of the pictures and video. Then I noticed that the person next to me couldn't take pictures because I kept leaning forward, blocking her view. Once I realized it, I tried to lean back in the seat and not hold my camera (phone) in front of her shot. 5. The ride is only 10 minutes. 6. The chopper vibrates (a lot). 7. The pilot talks a lot. 8. The pilot will try to pull "Gs." Pulling up hard (increasing Gs) and dropping rapidly (free fall). Increasing Gs is not a problem. Free fall can be nausiating. It might not be a good idea to have a large meal or drink excessively before the flight. 9. We're glad we spent the money. The flight was great as was the weather (100 degrees F and clear skies!! Woohoo!!!!

The flight is less than 10 minutes, if you are not lucky to get the good seats you don’t see anything, the pilot who is also de tour guide doesn’t say a word even though we all have microphones and headphones. Very poor experience.

I was awe struck. Pilot was very informative pointing out the sights. Pictures do no justice to seeing Vegas and the Grand Canyon from the air.

Amazing experience all around. We’ve done tours with other operators in vegas (M and GC) and this experience was of a similar level. Benny was our pilot and narrated the tour with cool facts about the link and the sphere as we flew over the strip. I would take this tour again in a heartbeat.

All was good with the exception of the Formula One racing about to take place. Traffic was terrible with roads closed constantly. Even getting in and out of our hotel and others as our activities (Shows and Dinners) dictated.

We were in awe of the majestic scenery from the helicopter of the Grand Canyon , a once in a lifetime vision that can be seen closely in this wonderful transport . The Kayak tour to Black Canyon was an active and fun addition to our ride; we were on kayaks for 3 + hours , and we stopped a few times for snacks and took beautiful scenic photos. We loved our guide , Jamaica ! The reservation people at 5 Star Helicopter were on top of changes , communicated well and made sure several times by email , phone call and text that you’re kept up to date and informed . Everything was very well coordinated and organized . I have no complaints ! Each of us had a mini lunch insulated bag filled with a sandwich of our choice, drink , and snacks ; Foods had Einstein bagels wrappings. Delicious ! It was a nice change from casinos, clubs , concerts, and shows when in Vegas . I’m so happy we finally ventured out of our norm and added new experiences .

The viewing and first time helicopter experience is great. The staff are friendly and affable. The overall experience is pretty good. I liked the view from top but would still recommend an up close view when we drove up better.

William was our pilot, he was awesome, I was a little nervous but his informative, professional friendly nature put me at ease . We certainly got value for money , great views commentary and plenty of time in the air . My husband has had plenty of flights but really rated this experience 😄

It was advertised as a 1hr tour, however we were in the air for about 15 minutes . We paid for pickup and it was over 30 minutes late. After being driven to the heliport, we checked in which was smooth then ushered into a. Small room for briefing/ instructions, then taken to the waiting helicopter. We were i. The air for 15 minutes max. The people were very professional and courteous., but the flight time was extremely disappointing. With the pickup fee the whole adventure was $258 dollars . It definitely was t what it was advertised to be.

Your site sell flights at one price one day then you push on the site to buy and it switches your dates if your not careful you book the wrong flights how many other people have you done this to seeking legal action

Nice Flight. Great view of the city at night. Worth the money. Check in process was easy. I walked there but would recommend transportation.

The whole experience was amazing and definitely worth doing. West Rim air tours were great. Constantly in communication from the day prior of our flight to collecting us from our hotel. The pilot of the flight was great too. Giving us constant information about lake Mead, the hoover dam and the Canyon itself. 5 stars all the way.

A 5 hands down! I was initially so scared I cried lol but once up there - no words 😭🙌🏽 10/10 our pilot was amazing and it was a smooth ride

Wow! Worth every penny! I booked the trip before we left the UK for me and two mates although one of them really didn’t want to do it as he has a proper fear of flying in planes let alone a helicopter and we had to constantly try and talk him into it, right up to the last minute we thought he would pull out. Straight away I could tell our pilot Dalton was the right man to get him in that helicopter, he was calm with a great sense of humour that started to put my mate at ease. The look of fear in my mates face as we went up priceless and I thought he was going to reach for the sick bag but didn’t. He was sitting next to the pilot and soon had a smile on his face taking videos and photos! Amazing views and flight!! The whole staff team were friendly and professional and we were picked up and dropped off back where we started. We only had one little panic finding the pick up location as it was at a different hotel and a bit more detail would have been helpful, but a quick phone call to 5 Star soon put us in the right place! Total recommended and great value for money!!
