The highlight of our trip
My 2 friends and I were lucky enough to be the only people booked on the tour so it was very personable, our guide Ratih was a superstar offering knowledge not just on the food but on local history and culture, the next time we come back to Bali we will be booking another food tour

beautiful real Indonesian food
This tour was absolutely fantastic and is highly recommended that you do this tour on an EMPTY EMPTY stomach! My partner and I were lucky to be the only ones on this tour and our guide Dinda was just amazing! She was very friendly and knowledgeable and patient :) the places she took us to were all so unique and although we tried to find similar places like this to eat during the rest of our stay, it just didn't quite compare!! One place was unexpectedly closed during this tour, which our guide wasnt aware off but we didnt mind because it shows that each establishment doesn't cook special goods for visitors and diners from this specific tour. Everyone is served the same beautiful meals and Dinda was able to quickly find an alternative for us right away! My absolute favourite place has to be the fried duck from Warung Nasi Bebek Bu Rimas ( hope I got that right!)

A multi-course stroll off the tourist track
Dinda was a great guide with exceptional English and very personable. She was prepared with wet wipes and hand sanitiser - which are necessary. The markets were interesting and we were able to try food that we wouldn't otherwise had dared to. The variety of food was good, and there was definitely more than enough to fill us up. The pork skewers were really tasty! We had the chance to choose our own traditional snacks and take them away since we couldn't have eaten another bite. There was a good balance of food and drink. Be prepared to walk a bit though, but the upside is you get to see some nice sights and learn a bit about Balinese daily life.

A great experience
Thank you Dinda for showing us the local food on our walking tour of Denpassar. We spent three very interesting hours in Dinda's company exploring the traditional market, parks, shops and Warungs. We drank Bali coffee to start and then tried traditional salad, drinks, satays and desserts. Definitely worth booking, you will not be disappointed.

Knowledgeable staff & authentic experience
Our Tour guide was excellent! She was able to mitigate the tour on site for due to peanut allergy concerns. This tour was favorite experience during my trip to Kuta. Make sure you come hungry! We ate too much too early in the tour so our guide gave us time to digest while we shopped at souvenir shop off the beaten where prices were set and more reasonable. This food tour is a great value. I do suggest goin on this during the first few days of your trip if it is your first time you have the choice just so that you can become accustomed to the area with a local person to guide you. My group enjoyed the area/ food so much we revisited a few of the same restaurants and shopping areas the next day!

Excellent range of food and good value
A group of 4 of us did this tour and had a great time. We went to markets and stalls that we would not have done by ourselves. Our guide, Dee, was excellent, and gave great commentary and insights. The goat curry, beef soup, satay, were outstanding. Well worth it.

Night markets food tour
After a bit of a confusing start, we went to the wrong restaurant and they were very kind and came and picked us up in a taxi and took us to the right place,we had a wonderful tour. First went to a restaurant that has been open for 65 years and then of to another restaurant for there special dish. Then walk though a wet market, then of to a park for more food and last to a night market for more yummy food.

Awesome experience, super friendly tour guide
This food tour took us to five different spots, each spot being a legitimate piece of Balinese cuisine. We tried a goat stew and satay with rice cakes, mixed rice plates, fried duck, beef stew, and delicious pork dishes. It was actually a little too much for just me and my girlfriend to eat, but we were able to take a few plates to go! I need to make a special mention to our tour guide, Dinda. She was awesome! She was great at communicating through WhatsApp beforehand, even allowing us to reschedule. Before the tour started, she asked if we had any dietary restrictions, and would have tailored our food stops if we did!

The Real Bali
The food on this tour was great of course, but perhaps the real treasure is the window into Bali life in which it provides. We were able to see what Bali is like apart from the tourist seen, and let me tell you, its wonderful. The people are great, culture interesting, and food something you will probably only experience once in a lifetime. I highly recommend checking out this food tour, you won't regret!

Dont miss out on this tour!
We had a great time going through all the different kinds of food we were served, as well as seeing places where local people eat, relax and shop their goods. I dont think we saw a single tourist all of the tour, which made this trip feel very special and well worthwile. Dinda was very kind, professional and generous - answering all our questions and pointing out interresting points of interrest. This was just as much a guided citytour as it was a foodtour. It blew our expecations out of the water. Thanks to Dinda we now know alot more about the local food and people of Bali. This was the perfect start for our vacation.

Real Bali Cuisine
We were so lucky to be the only two people on this tour. The guides were great - very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about Bali cuisine. The different food was really good, some of it not something we would normally have tried, but you only live once! We certainly came away with some new favourites! It wasn't just about the food, the insight into the locals life was really interesting. If you enjoy experiencing another country as distinct from just visiting, this is a must do!

Awesome Local Food Experience
Excellent walking street food tour. We experienced 5 locations with varied local food at each, going to places we'd never think to visit if not shown these places exist. There was ample food to go around and the food we got introduced to taught us about local eating. Our guide "Ratih" did an amazing job being warm, friendly, chatty, and full of information about the local food and local living. Even helping us get a taxi in the busy Kuta traffic. It was certainly worth doing the tour. We were not disappointed in any way.

Luxury food on foot tour
Ratih took 4 of us on a Luxury Tour around Ubud via walking (good pace to digest), explaining the background stories of the Michelin Chefs, the ingredients in the food, and the plating ideology, with her great command of English, attention to food requirements, and also reservation arrangements. Truly way above expectations!

Couldn’t recommend more!
This was a genuine highlight of our trip to Bali. My friend and I came to Bali looking for authentic, traditional Balinese experiences and this food tour didn’t disappoint. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about not just the foods but also the history of Denpasar, pausing at key places to highlight architecture and places of historical interest. The food was delicious, very peanut and meat heavy, so if you are veggie/vegan/allergic to peanuts this likely isn’t for you. The tour took about 4 hours, with a leisurely walk to each stop (9 stops in total!), going from the night food market to famous street food sellers and stalls. To save room for dessert at the end, eat enough to taste but don’t go heavy on stop one! As Denpasar is not touristy, we were the only non-native people there, but the atmosphere was friendly and kind. Overall it was a fantastic way to see parts of Denpasar we wouldn’t have been able to, plus try truest authentic Balinese foods with a fantastic guide and host. Plus she was really helpful in helping us get a taxi back to our hotel! A definite must!
