    Such fun and so informative!
This was a very worthwhile trip for us. We love Lucille Ball and this gave you an even more insight into who she was and her impact on so many people. It was so interesting to view all the memorabilia and the sets. If you're a fan, then you should definitely check it out.

    Remembering "I Love Lucy"
Most of my friends from the Skyline Drive Corvette Club grew up with "I Love Lucy." This museum was filled with Lucy and Desi, from their earlier years to the end of their lives. It was so much fun watching and laughing with the videos.

    Thoroughly Enjoyable
Really liked the focus on Lucy's career as a rising motion picture actress, Desi's family history from Cuba and how they met and were married. Did not know that Lucy bought DesiLou from Desi in 1962 and was instrumental in getting the initial Star Trek on TV. Trekkers everywhere are thankful!

    A must See
We didn't get a chance to do the museum last spring and took a two hour drive to visit today. It was worth it. The staff super friendly, the museum was extremely informative. There was so much about their lives that I was unaware with and am so glad we came back to go through the Museum. We went to the comedy museum last spring and ran out of time to come here, hands down this was much better.

A must see for Lucy fans.
There are many exhibits, props, pictures of both the show and the personal lives of Lucy and Desi. I learned a lot of things. I highly recommend this museum.

Our visit to the Lucy and Desi Museum
The museum was awesome. So many things to see and a lot to read and learn about Lucy’s childhood and then her teenage years on into her marriage to Desi and then beyond her marriage to Desi. It takes about 3 hours to do the whole museum and read all of the information and view all of the items on display. I would also it is worth the money to get your picture taken on the set of the I love Lucy show. You get lots of pictures taken with your phone from one of the employees at the museum. You get the living room, and Kitchen. What a blast my daughter and I had. I give this museum and all the of employees and A plus. Would defiantly go again.

    Good time
Really enjoyed the museum. Learned a lot I did not know about Lucy and Desi and all the people in the show. Lucy is even buried in Jamestown. The gift shop is also very nice

    Who doesn't Love Lucy
The museum is enjoyable with various props and costumes from the I Love Lucy Show. There is some dresses that Lucy wore in and off the show. Ricky's bongo drums and bongo case is displayed. My husband like Lucy car and Oscars that were displayed. The staff is very knowledgeable and informative. Spend the extra $10 and get picture taken in the I love Lucy living room, kitchen set, the staff took the pictures with our camera. Had so much fun with this. The only drawback is the parking is limited to 2 hours a day and they do mark your tires so make sure to keep track of your time. The other somewhat down fall in my humble opinion was the museum is in 2 parts and to see the other part you have to go back out the front door and down 2 stores to see the other part. Was a very memorable and brought back many fantastic memories.

Go to Jamestown for a laugh.
I'm not sure what reason you would visit Jamestown except to go to the Lucy and Desi Museum and the National Comedy Center. Are they worth the trip? ABSOLUTELY. This museum is for any fan of Lucy and/or Desi that highlights their lives, shows clips from Lucy's movies, memorabilia, clips of episodes of I Love Lucy, a recreation of the set (apartment), and more. There is a large gift shop. You can get a reduced combined admission to the museum and the National Comedy Center, which is within walking distance.

    It was OK
I loved Lucy of course but the two sections of the exhibit could easily be done in an hour or less. The sets are mildly interesting - they are so small - you thought they'd be bigger.

    Great memories
We remembered the "I Love Lucy" series very much. It was great to get the history of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. Easy parking on the street right in front of the museum. Had recreated sets from the series. Highly recommend this place if you're a fan of the show. Also in this city is her gravesite and her girlhood home which can be seen as a drive-by only. Another place is the park down by the lake.

A quick walk down memory lane of early TV
A chance to see how the layout of the TV show set was arranged as well as a fair amount of details about the show and the family.

    Fabulous Collection!
I visited this museum for the second time and still found new things! A change from my last visit was that now you are able to pay $10 to go on the New York apartment set. Very cool feature-just wished that we were told this at check in and/or they should just give you an option to include it with your admission. Many neat artifacts, including costumes. Definitely worth going to for Lucy and Desi fans!

    Mother's Day Getaway
Had a wonderful time here. Was far more authentic than I expected and was so cool to know you were amongst some great history of comedy. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. Only neg...make sure you pay attention to your time if you park on the street. Two hour limit and we were 10 minutes over and got ticketed.

After visiting the National Comedy Center, I walked a couple of blocks up the street to the Lucille Ball – Desi Arnaz Museum. I grew up watching the “I Love Lucy” show and found this museum to be a totally awesome tribute to the life and careers of Lucy and Desi. There are a large number of personal artifacts from both Lucy and Desi, including the front door from their Beverly Hills Home and Lucy’s Mercedes Benz. There is also a large number of artifacts directly related to “The I Love Lucy” Show including the sack dress from the Paris episode and Lucy’s Charlie Chaplin Costume. Perhaps the most popular of the “I Love Lucy” exhibits are the replicas of the Living Room and Kitchen or “Ricardos” New York City Apartment and the Living Room from their Hollywood Hotel Suite. On a side Note, be sure to take the time to walk around Downtown Jamestown and see the “I Love Lucy” murals that are painted on some of the buildings. When you purchase the dual admission ticket to both the Lucy-Desi Museum and the National Comedy Center you do receive a slight discount to both museums. While I walked up and purchased my dual admission on site, you might consider purchasing you tickets online prior to arrival. All in all, The Lucy-Desi Museum is a wonderful Museum, and I really enjoyed my visit.

I joined a relative on a trip up to Jamestown where they had some business matters to attend to. While we were there, we decided to visit some fun attractions in the area. As my relative had already visited the National Comedy museum in a previous visit, we decided to go to the Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum - and I am so glad we did. The facility is small but packed full of memorabilia from the heyday of I Love Lucy. As a fan since childhood, I truly enjoyed browsing through both the family life history as well as Lucy & Desi's professional history. We spent ~ 2 hours browsing through both exhibits and both agreed it was a very worthwhile visit.

The museum was a delight.. The staff was personable and helpful. It wasn’t super expensive and for additional fee of $10.00 we were able to take photos in The Ricardo’s living room and kitchen sets. We were not rushed and could spend as long as we wanted.

Let me say first this is a really fun museum but it could have been much more. Inside, there are some costumes that Lucy wore, as well as video clips featuring more popular characters she played. They have recreated the Ricardo’s New York Apartment and the apartment they occupied during the “Hollywood” shows. That said, the museum took us about 15 minutes to go through and it is EXPENSIVE. If you want your photo taken in either apartment, it costs another ten dollars on top of the $20+ you spent to get in. I wish that there had been more costumes on on display and more videos of the really funny episodes and scenes. If you are an I Love Lucy fan, you’ll probably enjoy the museum, but be prepared to fork over the bucks. There is also a gift shop with lots of expensive t-shirts and tchotchkes. You’d have to pay admission to use the rest rooms, which are located inside the museum.

A fun place to visit. Lots of information about Lucy’s early life, her marriage to Desi, and her TV and movie career. For $10, an employee will take your picture with your camera/phone while you pose on the recreated set of “I Love Lucy”. You are not allowed to touch anything, but are allowed to sit on the couch.

Didn’t know this museum existed. We found it by looking up things to do near Kinzua Bridge State Park, and so glad we did! Every Lucy fan will enjoy this museum: recreated “I Love Lucy” sets, costumes and props, and lots of ‘behind the scenes’ info. The museum has two sections. One is all about the “I Love Lucy” show, and the other is the story of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz and their family. Very interesting! We were there for about two hours and saw everything. Off street parking. Nice gift shops. If you have the chance, go!

The museum is a lot of fun if you are a fan. It is small but it has a lot of nice things from the show to see like costumes, props, the living room and kitchen used on the show and some film clips to watch. You can tour it in about an hour.

We spent a fun couples of hours at the museum seeing all the memorabilia and reading all the information it has to offer. There are even sets that were constructed to look like the actual sets used in the show. More interestingly, it provides quite a bit of background information on Lucy and Desi and how events led up to the I Love Lucy show.
You tour on your own. Masks are suggested. Do check out the website so you can buy tickets in advance (you must reserve a day and time) and particularly to understand where you can park your vehicle since there is no parking by the museum except metered curb parking.
After the museum, you can also drive by the places where Lucy grew up and actually go to visit her grave in the Lakeview Cemetery.

This is a very well executed museum that is a must for any Lucille Ball fan, or really any fan of classic TV. It is well worth the trip to Jamestown if you are planning to be in the western NY, western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio area.

The museum is located in a pair of storefronts in downtown Jamestown. The museum traces Lucille’s and Desi’s early lives and careers along with a heavy focus on the I Love Lucy show. There is a lot of information provided throughout. The museum provides a thorough and entertaining look at Lucy’s successful movie career before TV came calling. There are many costumes, props and artifacts throughout the museum. It is all very professionally presented. On a (snowy) Saturday in March the museum was not very busy. We spent about two hours taking it all in and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

As a life long I Love Lucy fan this was the highlight of our time in Jamestown. It was so cool to get to see so many artifacts from the shows including costumes, props, and of course the replica living room/Hollywood Apt. Getting to see that living room in person and in color was great, and even better was that you are able to pay to get to walk into the apartment and take pictures! Loved seeing all the memorabilia and videos of those who worked on the show. Getting to do the Vitameatavegamin commercial was also a fun little surprise. I also went a bit crazy in the gift shop, but I regret nothing!
