- petertK2919AE0 contributionsFantastic catamaran to idyllic islandsFantastic cruise to the most idyllic islands that you can imagine. Trip with Coral Belle catamaran “Coral Princess“ from Grand Baie was exceptional, nice, well equipped and comfortable boat that the crew were constantly keeping spotlessly clean whilst also offering drinks to all passengers. Kevin who expertly communicated in English & French was a fabulous host and together with the rest of the crew provided great service. The setting of the islands is stunning and we had about 1 1/2 hours on the beach before excellent bbq lunch back on the boat. Plentiful drinks to complement the singing and dancing on the way back. Hotel transfers were prompt, comfortable and efficient.Written 31 January 2025

- Justino_Cabecas0 contributionsLovely day in southwest MauritiusIt was an amazing daytrip to Southwest Mauritius with our driver Vik. We visited the Grand Bassin area and the Hindu temples, the 7 coloured earth sight and all the waterfalls around Charamel and Black River Gorges National Park. I really enjoyed the day and I recommend booking with EcoHolidays Mauritius. Congratulations!Written 29 March 2024
- Justino_Cabecas0 contributionsAmazing day in Northern MauritiusIt was an amazing daytrip to northern Mauritius with our driver Vik. We visited Port Louis and all the sights around the city. Loved the market, China Town portals and the fortress up the hill. The botanical garden was a really brilliant experience and see how many different species there are around the gardens. The giant water lilies and the lotus flowers are the main sight. We continued north to Cap Malheureux to see the beautiful little village and the red church of Notre-Dame Auxiliatrice du Cap Malheureux. Really enjoyed the day and I recommend booking with EcoHolidays Mauritius. Congratulations!Written 29 March 2024

- 286nigeld0 contributionsFlexibility and good valueMy wife and I were on our own, had a good driver who spoke good English and was knowledgeable about the island and also gave us complete flexibility as to what we visited. He was unconcerned that we overran on our allotted 8 hours and the whole day was extremely good value for moneyWritten 4 March 2024
- Ramsurrun0 contributionsBad experience for a day use in ravenala.Bad experience in a hotel called The Ravenala Attitude Balaclava Point aux Piment. Family and I went for a day use with all the facilities of the hotel and lunch also all inclusive but unfortunately after spending 7k. We were so disappointed by the service and poor quality of welcoming. The restaurant was full of birds and flies. We went to eat at 13hr and there was barely food on the buffet. With flies all round and birds disturbing our lunch, we lost appetite. We barely had food to eat. When we went to the kiosque at 4:45, the little food kiosque were already closed and we couldn’t access more food. The hotel also had a bad odor mostly everywhere. Not a proper welcoming of the guests as well. The average rating of the day use would be 4/10.Written 29 January 2024
- Steve P0 contributionsA lovely tour but DONT buy from the spice shop.We did the TUI half day tour of the north comprising the gardens and some shopping in the capital. Steve our guide was excellent, he had a really nice manor and was warm and approachable. The gardens were stunning but a mosquito hell hole if you didn’t have spray! We enjoyed the tour and Steve gave us lots of information. We then went to Port Luis for shopping and exploring. We went to the spice shop in the shopping centre. They were very pushy and we did buy some spices but then found them half price further down the road DO NOT buy anything there, it is a total rip off and they just want your moment. We then went into the old town and the china town area which was very busy but worth seeing. We had food in the food court by the harbour which was nice. Overall a very pleasant trip made even better by our guide Steve.Written 28 January 2024
- scottjN7893TO0 contributionsSightseeing with Eco Holidays MauritiusWe booked a private chauffeur with Eco Holidays. Our driver, Vic, was incredible. We toured the South West of Mauritius for the full day. Vic also acted as our tour guide, incredibly knowledgable and couldn’t have asked for anyone better, even took us to a traditional Mauritian style restaurant off the beaten track, beautiful it was. The view points and sights were unbelievable. The falls, Hindu temple, 7 coloured earth, volcano - all a must see and would recommend Eco Holidays to anyone visiting Mauritius.Written 31 December 2023
- Kerrylou710 contributionsBrilliant day out and excellent value for moneyOur guide for the day was Dhiran, who was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the island and all the places we visited, giving lots of detail when answering our questions. His driving was excellent and we felt extremely safe with him. The viewpoints and waterfalls we stopped at all had breath taking views and Dhiran was always happy to take photos of us all together. The temple was very busy due to it being a Hindu celebration day, but that made it all the more interesting. We stopped for a 3 course lunch which delicious (Dhiran recommended the Mauritian Chicken curry and it was very good). The bananas cooked in rum and sugar for dessert were A-MAZE-ING!!! Our last stop was a rum distillery, again very interesting and the rums produced were incredibly good. The shop was well stocked and very busy. Overall a very good day out and would not hesitate to recommend.Written 16 December 2023
