About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- tennieee0 contributionsStunning afternoon with the best crew!A must do experience in Santorini! We absolutely loved this cruise, seeing all the stunning scenery around the island. They are super organized - they pick you up and drop you off as well. Our crew, Captain George, George and Georgia, were absolute gems and totally made the experience! They played great music, made an amazing dinner and overall were just incredibly warm and hospitable. The views and swimming spots were fantastic - the water here is just so clear and refreshing! It ended up being a little cloudy at sunset but that didn't stop it from being absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend!Written 15 September 2024

- laurelg7200 contributionsCatamaran day cruise in SantoriniOur whole group had a lot of fun on our small-group catamaran cruise on the boat Amorgos. George, George, and Georgia made us feel welcome, taken care of, and safe. We had a short stop at the inactive volcano for swimming, then went to another cove for snorkeling and an amazing lunch prepared on board by the crew, then to a final beach for swimming where we were even able to jump off the side of the boat! We had snacks, an amazing lunch, and unlimited wine, beer, soda, and water. The crew were amazing, and the main reason for a 5 star review.Written 10 September 2024

- 422nazim0 contributionsIncredible Day in Santorini with Ocean Voyager and Captain AntonisWe had the best day of our trip to Santorini thanks to Ocean Voyager and the amazing captain, Antonis, along with his caring crew. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The boat was well-maintained, spacious, and perfect for exploring the island’s stunning coastline. Captain Antonis and his team were not only professional but also incredibly attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, and their knowledge of the area added so much to the experience. We were taken to breathtaking spots that we wouldn’t have discovered on our own, and the crew made sure we enjoyed every moment. - X6434SLsylviaj0 contributionsEnjoy yourself and book this tripI has a great experience with Sunset Oia. I was picked up from my hotel and Santorini. Had a very interesting ride to the dock. The driver worked his magic around all the down hill curves. This was a solo trip but all felt welcomed. The Ocean Voyager was large with plenty of seating and room to move around the boat. The views were exceptional. I am a non open water swimmer but had to take a dip in the water as they provided noodle floaties.. I really enjoyed the music being played through out the trip. Folks and drinks were provided and were excellent. Everyone relaxed and enjoyed. We talked amongst ourselves and felt like a big group. I appreciated that as a solo traveler. Captain Adonis and his crew Niaos, Zisis, and Meti were professional and encouraging of good fun. They made sure everyone got great pictures and informed us about the islands we passed. I recommend this companu and team. This was a highlight of my time in Greece.Written 31 August 2024

This was the very typical Cat cruise activity. We have done this in Hawaii and Mexico a number of times.
It was a fun trip with a young crew which I found out was not very experienced at all from their own admissions while overhearing and engaging conversation with them. Really nice folks though. And I know how to operate a large vessel with anchorage etc. They did a pretty good job overall with operation.
However be prepared to have nothing , nothing to eat for hours. Free cheap sub par wine , soda water and 2 euro beers. I was fine with buying some beer but my wife and young daughter told me the wine was worse than the most average at any local restaurant. Good wines on this island. The dinner came towards the end and was just ok but pretty plentiful and their pork skouvaki was a commercial pre made product, the chicken ? But was more moist and edible when I tried my wife’s. Much better food at the most basic restaurants on Santorini.
The crap hit the …. When we spent almost an hour trying to go to the little pier at Almoudi to disembark. We were all and I mean all done at this point. Sunset sucked because of haze ( not their fault) but they didn’t position good for that even if it was good. Then we were all confused over the van transfers to get up the hill and back to our respective homes .
It was by far the most miserable experience I’ve ever EVER seen with a tour operator In the world to get people out of a venue. Part of this is because so many people want to go down to a beautiful restaurant called Almoudi Fish tavern for a sunset and late meal. The big vans have to back down abs can’t get out while the cars taxis and bikes try to go down a steep long road. Then they put us in the vans and some people in the wrong ones while we all sweat out our dinner. Bad! Then there was almost a fist fight right outside the van window between different operators over getting people out. We were some of the closest guests to the venue staying right in a cave house in Oia but got given a choice of walking ten minutes from the top of the hill or touring the loop for twenty minutes. We got the hell off!
We were hoping to visit this restaurant another night but not now! Avoid Almoudi and this company and get a smaller boat tour and or go to the other huge list of great restaurants and tours here.
Never again!

Thank you for taking time to share your opinion with us. We can guarantee that all our staff members are highly skilled and experienced. Regarding the food, we pride ourselves on offering a great quality and comfort food to our guests however we would like to thank you for the feedback. It's true, Ammoudi can be very busy during high season but this is not on our hands and rest assured that our team is trying their best to assist all our guests.

Best part of the trip. This is the sunset catamaran sail you want to be on. A fully luxury experience. AC pick up at hotel and took us down the cliff. Easy check in and boarding. Rain cancelled two days so the cruise was larger than I'm guessing normal at 12 passengers yet still so much room for everyone. Absolutely delightful day swimming the volcano and thermal springs, sunset, a 5 star meal grilled and prepared on board (omg!!), unlimited beer, wine, water, soft drinks, changing rooms and on-board very nice bathroom, and a lovely crew. Music, ambiance, a perfect day. Would set sail with our gang anytime. We saw some of the larger sailing trips where it seemed to be standing room only with throngs of people, while we were all spread out on leather sofas and the front of the boat like royalty. It costs a little more but well worth every penny. I don't even know how they made any money after how they wined and dined us. A very nice touch was individual blankets as we settled in to watch sunset. A must do.

We did the Diamond Sunset Cruise on the boat “Naxos” with captain Antonis and the crew, Ira and Antonis. Everything was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. The pick up and transfer were smooth. The crew was always on hand for anything we needed, very kind and hospitable! Our group was about 20 people (mostly couples) on a beautiful luxury catamaran with on board restroom, and there was plenty of room to enjoy the boat. Towels were provided. The food was delicious and prepared on the boat for us. We also had the open bar so we could have a glass of wine or a juice any time we wanted! We would do it again and recommend the Sunset Cruise to anyone coming to Santorini: a unique way to see the sunset next to your loved one! Totally worth it!

I’ve done several sunset catamaran cruises and this was by far the best experience. The crew of Captain Alex, deckhand Antonis, and Aliki, who was our “mother” for the journey, was top notch. They did everything to ensure the passengers thoroughly enjoyed the seven-hour voyage from Vlychada port to Oia. The boat, Delos, was modern and clean, and the food prepared by Aliki and Antonis was spectacular as were the views. We were offered several opportunities to dip into the beautiful Aegean Sea and were briefed on the history of the places we stopped. Highly recommend this excursion during your trip to Santorini!

Sunset oia was a very nice and easy way for us to get on the water in Greece. They provide transfer to and from your hotel which is very nice considering how expensive taxis are on the island. We were in Oia the morning of so we ended up walking to the port. There was some confusion on where we needed to meet because they told us Almoudi port, but there is no Almoudi port on google maps. We had to call and ask them for more specific instructions, so they told us to go to Almoudi Fish Tavern. Once we got there we waited for over an hour past our board time. Once we got on the boat it was gorgeous. The drinks they give as part of the open bar are beer, wine, and sodas. The wine is cheap boxed wine, which they ended up running out of and started watering it down by sunset. The onboard Greek BBQ was absolutely delicious. We didn’t go to the white or red beaches because of weather. But we did end the night with a beautiful sunset on the water so all in all it was an end to meet our need. Not amazing but by no means horrible.

We did the sunset cruise and it was a beautiful experience. They stop in three places and let you swim with floats, Snorkelling equipment, etc which is really nice. We had BBQ on board served with a good buffet spread and the worth was delicious too.
The highlight however was the staff and the service.
The captain Kostas was super interactive, friendly and helpful. The staff, John. Haris and Antonis were amazing. They would keep asking if you needed anything and constantly bringing you drinks and refreshments. After every swim, they would promptly get towels, keep water ready and clean up old towels, cups super quickly. They kept giving us very helpful information about the island and were extremely courteous and fun through it all.
The sunset you see from the cruise is unbelievable and I would definitely recommend it to everybody.

Where can I start, the crew made the day what it was, excellent!
The warm welcome from the knowledgeable staff made for a great start on what was going to be an unforgettable day sailing the Aegean Sea.
Itinerary was perfect with historic information from Sailors Adonis and Vagelis, these guys sure know how to treat their guests well with entertainment at all times.
Captain Kostas kept us all happy with fantastic sailing and slowing the boat down to ensure we didn't miss those scenic and picturesque moments.
Last but most certainly not least, Hostess Fotini provided an amazing standard of cooking and care for the guests at all times. She makes a mean Saganaki which is truly out of this world!
A must for anyone visiting Santorini. Until next time, thank you!

We did an afternoon cruise with ~ 5 other couples and it was so fun and relaxing. Since our travel agent booked it for us, I can't really say what was booked, but we visited Red beach, White beach, the hot springs, Church of the Holy 7, and finally watched the sunset in Oia. We didn;t get to go to close o the hot springs or swim in any caves, but the boat had it's own snorkeling gear and it was a lot of fun. The food is great and drinks are endless. The staff was great to be around and kept us on schedule while never rushing us. You absolutely have to book the sunset cruise as it is absolutely magical! Everyone talks about the sunset in Oia and where to go to watch it... being on the water is the best. Easily the most romantic sunset we had on the island. Our crew got us front and center, played light music and served champagne while letting all of us take it in for a generous amount of time.

The food was great the staff was extremely friendly only caveat we could not go to the hot springs because of safety due to it being extremely windy (no fault of crew). We ended up spending more time swimming which was ok with everyone. Only suggestion I would give is maybe get those cheap throw away rain suits so people can enjoy the high speed trip to see the sunset. It was so much fun being in front of boat but water was splashing so much with high winds was just too cold to enjoy.

The transfer was quick and on time although it is a shared minibus so expect a few stops (with some people who are unorganised and late 🙄) . Although many different people/companies/boats at the dock they were quick and efficient leaving our group impressed. Once on the boat we were greeted by 3 friendly and helpful crew members! Our tour was great, we stopped at the hot springs which were lovely and contrary to other reviews, they were actually warm and we didn’t have to swim at all! We just jumped off the boat and the water was already warm (NOT HOT). Then we stopped at Thirassia and had an amazing dinner. We got a choice between BBQ chicken or pork and both were delicious. As well as traditional Greek food, salads, pasta, prawns and more. Quite windy so bring extra clothes/jackets!! A once in a lifetime experience and I definitely recommend. Pricey but definitely unique and worth it!
