- ogladi0 contributionsSunset on the WaterWe booked the Luxury Catamaran Trip with Meal and Open Bar, for a party of two, on a late afternoon sunset cruise through GetYourGuide in June. This was probably our best excursion in Santorini! The minibus picked us up on time and we headed out. Once we were assigned an English group – with maybe 15 other people – we boarded. The catamaran was large and clean. The cruise crew was awesome! Maro, Elvin and Kosmas took great care of us. They took us to swim first near a fishing village. This was so fun! We were given pool noodles and snorkel gear and entered the water either by the back of the boat or by jumping straight off the side. The water was calm and not too cold in June. They let us swim for a while before we boarded the catamaran again and sailed off to the next location. Towels were provided. The open bar had water, soft drinks, beer (Alpha), wine, and a cocktail. The crew was BBQing as we sailed. Then we went to the second swimming location and played in the water so more. After the 2nd swim we were served an outstanding spread – a freshly prepared Greek meal, including dessert, which was excellent. We ate at our leisure and fully relaxed with our group. Then we went to the 3rd swimming location which was a hot spring. It wasn’t super-hot or anything, just a little different than the colder water. After we’d had our fun, we boarded again, and we sailed to the Oia area around the caldera to relax and watch the sun go down. It was the best way to see the sunset! Along the way the crew showed us other areas and told stories so that was a nice extra. They took us to Oia to catch our van back. This was non-eventful, except that I’m pretty sure our driver was playing Tetris on his phone while we headed back to our stop in Imerovigli. Other than that, our sail was divine, and we enjoyed every minute. The sail was about 5-6 hours. It was a great value and we would book with them again in a heartbeat!Written 30 October 2024

- sinada350 contributionsBest time in SantoriniOutstanding well-run cruise by Sunset Oia. Crew were friendly, courteous. BBQ was world class and delicious. Sites and beaches seen were great. Took a lot of photos. Kudos to Captain George and crew of George and Eleni on the Anorgos.Written 28 October 2024
- 892catherineo0 contributionsThe Best Santarini cruise 2024I am 70yrs Lady travelling alone to Santarini after fighting Cancer in 2023. I went on this cruise on Sunday & had so much I felt 21 again. Captain George Chef George Little Pocket 🚀 Elaine were the most professional representations of the company you should be so proud to have them on the team. 3 stops for swimming, Delicious BBQ Chicken/Pork Salads mixed Pasta & Shrimp in a delicious sauce. Most people on the Catamaran were so friendly & we all got along so well. I asked Elaine can they play Mama Mia as we were in Greece - without question it came over the airwave. Well I lost myself in the dance. So if your travelling alone don't worry this team will look after you. I wish continued success in all your endeavours & enjoy your rest now the season is finished & well done my 3 AMIGOS. I will smile when I think of this day. - stevengsh0 contributionsBelow my expectations due to poor researchIt's almost end of Summer, so there were about 24 people, just the right number of people. This tour would be ideal if you intend to swim. A few couples did n they enjoyed the experience although water was cold. There were 3 swimming locations n opportunities. I expected to get good and close views of towns that we pass as OT sails South n back. As the cliffs are very high, there are little or no views for sunset. It was a challenge returning to Amoudi Bay as the tides got very rough for 30 minutes. 3 people were seasick and my wife n myself almost got it too. Service by staff was excellent looking after everyone. As for the BBQ, baked fillet fish was not good due to bones. Steak was chewy. Salad was good. As a non swimmer n my expectation on getting a good sunset n reflections of towns, I would rate 2 our of 5. Doing more research on reviews is important. Hope my review helps.Written 25 October 2024
- rozm6250 contributionsAmazing experiencePickup in Fira was a few minutes early (great, and good to be 15min early ready at the hotel). The boat trip was pleasant and entertaining. We had a great time swimming around the various stops, and had plenty of time to enjoy each. Hot springs were a bit warmer and very interesting, and there were stronger water currents at the other stops which the crew warned us about. Great place to hang out and enjoy the sun. Food was delicious and well portioned. Good selection of drinks. Fun and approachable Georges! Magical sunset views from Oia! Highly recommend the sunset trip!Written 24 October 2024
- Brendon K0 contributionsAn absolute must!!Oh what an experience 🤩 where do I start? The package we purchased included transfers to & from our hotel which was reliable, on time & professional. Once we embarked onto the catamaran we were greeted by our lovely hostess & given the usual safety briefing. The staff were all fantastic & just wanted to ensure that our comfort, safety & having oodles of fun were their priority. We were served delicious BBQ as part of the onboard service along with a selection of both alcohol & nonalcoholic drinks options. The cruise itself took us to 3 prime stops of sheer beauty & we were able to swim in the sea as part of the stops. The waters of the Agean this time of year is perfect & much warmer than the height of summer & having the added luxury of being able to swim here was great. I would definitely recommend the sunset option too, as you get to experience a glorious sunset whilst on the open water which makes it all the more magical 🪄 We also managed to time this excursion really well as it provided the perfect ending to an already fabulous holiday experience.Written 19 October 2024
- carolynk8090 contributionsDisappointedThe cruise started late and ended early. The crew was apathetic. They rushed the stops. The food was dry yet they had a gas smelling grill interfering with the cruise most of the trip. I wish I’d just done a commercial trip for a third of the price!Written 18 October 2024
- carolynk8090 contributionsDisappointing. Not worth the money.Disappointing. The crew was impersonal. The captain (George on the Amorgos) ignored the guests to spend time with a girlfriend. They barbecued off the stern and the boat smelled like gas most of the time. And the food was dry. We waited 50 mins to board yet they cut the trip by 30 mins. And then our pick up took 30 mins too. I wrote to the company and they couldn’t care less. If you want pristine waters and amazing beaches go to Milo’s.Written 18 October 2024
- NorthStar522992936160 contributionsOcean Voyager Sunset cruise in SantoriniThe Captain Antonis was very informative and pleasant the music was great we partied and had a great time. The crew was Marlen, John and Chris, nice polite and attentive. We had good food and plenty to drink, although I don’t indulge in alcohol. The Sunset view was amazing, like nothing I had ever seen before.Written 18 October 2024
- nbh72710 contributionsEvie- The Absolute BestLet me just say that this was our 5th trip with Sunset Oia. It is a must every time we visit Santorini and once again, it did not disappoint. We were so grateful and thrilled to see Evie in the Captains' seat once again- she is an absolute joy. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, welcoming and fun. We will absolutely check to see which Catamaran she is motoring next year just to have her again. Sergio and Adriana were also fantastic. The food, the wine, the atmosphere allowed us to become friends with the other passengers so everyone was included to have a fabulous day. Efharisto para poli to everyone at Sunset Oia and we cannot wait to return and sail again soon.Written 17 October 2024
- Odyssey460712761480 contributionsAmazing experience & highlight of our trip!If you visit Santorini this is a must do trip! Just back from the Sunset cruise with drinks, food & transfer yesterday and it was outstanding from start to finish! From the bus driver Spiros collecting us, a very pleasant & knowledge man, giving us lots of info about the island & local people. Then the crew on our boat, the George's & Helena who made the trip a delight, fun & entertaining, thank you so much & the food was delicious, especially Helena’s homemade Shrimp! We were so lucky on this trip as our guest companions who we meet on the cruise were fabulous. Everyone bonded very quickly & were all so friendly, from different parts of the world, of all ages & we had the best of craic, thank you it was a pleasure meeting you all. I would highly recommend this trip and company as it was very well organised, very reasonably priced in comparison to other cruises by other companies. Thank you for wonderful experience of a very special day & amazing Sunset! We would definitely book this again xWritten 16 October 2024

This catamaran cruise through the geologically striking caldera features, above all, a delightful crew, along with pleasant swimming, an appetizing BBQ dinner, and unlimited beer and wine. Sails were up for one long reach, otherwise it's motoring. However, Sunset-Oia jams the tiny port with way too many boats (I counted 27 catamarans--a few from other companies) on identical schedules, causing long delays (40 mins for us, others longer) when all boats depart together and return from sunset at the same time. It's a zoo! The Tragedy of the Commons, symbolic of overcrowded Santorini, is that way too many people crowd the port, and the owners try to maximize profits in the short tourist season by running too many boats, undermining the experience for everyone. Yes, we saw the orange sunset.

This boat trip was really great. It was so beautiful to go out on the crystal Blue waters. Probably don’t set your sights on having a mud bath- I think the mud stains the boats and it’s hard to wash off so we couldn’t go on the beach. Regardless the food and drinks were fabulous and so were the host and music. It was a beautiful boat as well. Would highly recommend!! We were chuffed we paid a little more to have a maximum of 20 as there was lots of room and it felt very welcoming.

Pretty comfortable writing this as we just got off the boat about 5 hours ago. Our captain (Kostas), and crew of John and Haris were top-rate; fun, informative, and very dedicated to safety around the boat. Speaking of the boat. Ipanema 58, with drinks onboard, plenty of water and space for what I thought was a very fair number of people (12) and room to kick around and see the boat and the views. And the views are spectacular. We swam at the volcano, snorkeled for a while as the crew fed fish and brought them in close for us, and had a great barbecue at White Beach. Must have taken 300 pictures, met people and enjoyed the morning immensely. So relaxing. We were advised to take this trip by a neighbor at our villa, and it was good advice for sure. A must.

Supposedly a 5 hour cruise staring at Oia and ending at Vlychada turned out to a four hour cruise starting and ending at Oia.
The itinerary was to include the lighthouse, white beach and red beach. In actual fact what happened was we basically motored (the sail was never raised) round Kameni stopped at 2 places to swim and 1 to have a Barbecue; so probably best part of 1 hour 45 of the 4 hours not actually sailing. Never saw the lighthouse or the 2 beaches. The most unfortunate part was that having told we would end at Vlychada (about 15 minutes from our hotel) we had to endure another 1 hour cab ride (included in the price to be fair) back from Oia.
The Cat, however, was fabulous and even if we had been 14 (we were only 9) there would have been loads of space for everyone. Just so disappointed that we did not get what we had booked as all other reviews are so good. Only recommendation is get the route confirmed before you pay!

Whenever you go on a sailing trip you would expect to pull out the sails. Not just this boat but all boats that take this trip. The wind was blowing a steady 18 to 20 knots on a beam reach with full sun. ( I’m a sailor by the way) The operators told us they need 22 knots to pull out sails. They wouldn’t even attempt motor sailing. If you just want a platform to eat and drink you have found your trip. If you really want a sailing experience do yourself a favor and hire a private boat to go out. We did a similar trip in Athens that was great. Smaller boat , SAILING and less people.

Our family had the absolute pleasure of sailing on the gorgeous and brand new Sifonos 42 foot catamaran. Captain Evi and crew Eleni were exceptional sailors and hosts. We spent nearly 5 hours sailing with swim stops along the way. Eleni educated us on the rich history of the islands as we traveled and was very attentive to our needs. They grilled a wonderful BBQ lunch that we admitted was amongst some of the best food we have eaten on this trip (which has been filled with great food.) The boat has several areas where we could sit and sun, the food and drinks were plentiful and the female badass team was awesome! Highly recommend!

My wife and I loved every minute of our cruise. We departed around 3:30 and had several hours sailing around the island and caldera, experiencing different swimming spots before the catamaran sailed to Oia to watch the sunset. The staff on the boat were excellent and friendly, and the meal they prepared was large and delicious. In total, there were about 15 people who were on the cruise with us, so it was not crowded at all.
The only thing I would change would be to turn off the music around sunset. It would have been a little more romantic if pop music weren't playing in the background.

for having taken catamaran trips to Mauritius but also to Reunion Island, nothing to see there
5 hours of cruises including 1 hour of transfer so only 4 hours of cruise to have a chicken or pork barbecue, no fish from the sea, all with a wine that is not good at all, so you stay on coke
Afterwards yes, the landscapes are beautiful
when you get out of the water you're not allowed to use the boat's shower so you stay salty and sticky.
really the service is not great
and the price 150 euros for 4 hours of motor catamaran please because of course they don't take out the sail!!!!!

My husband and I visited Santorini for the second time in August 2019 and this catamaran sailing cruise was a highlight of our visit. We were looking for a different way to see the island rather than driving to the various beaches, so we booked this cruise on the recommendation of a friend. It did not disappoint. We had been on catamaran cruises in other locations. This cruise never felt rushed even though we made three stops, and the experience felt personalized since there was a smaller group on board. Our first stop was the hot springs and we were able to jump off the boat for a swim. The second stop was the White beach, where we were able to snorkel and eat lunch. There was not a lot of wildlife visible while snorkeling, but the scenery was amazing. The traditional Greek lunch of grilled chicken and various sides was delicious and a highlight of the cruise. The last stop was the Red beach, where we were able to enjoy some drinks while swimming. The highlight for my husband was when the crew threw beers into the water for us to drink while swimming. There is something special about swimming while seeing the cliffs of the Red beach in the background. In true Greek style, the crew was welcoming and extremely friendly. One of the crew members, George, gave us recommendations for places to see on our stop in Athens, and he pointed out areas of interest while we were sailing. The only part of the whole experience that was less than perfect was the boarding/check-in process at Ammoudi Bay when we arrived via transfer since many cruises departed at the exact same time in the morning and the harbor area was extremely crowded. However, we were eventually checked in and once we located our boat, the boarding process was smooth. If you're looking for a unique experience in Santorini, I would highly recommend booking with Sunset Oia.

We cruised with Captain Gri and the crew of Adonis, Vogelis and Marilena. The sights were fantastic, the crew pampered us, the drinks were plentiful and the meal was shockingly great. You are only here once, it’s worth it! Get the high end small group cruise on the best boat. They get you out of Oia really fast after the sunset, which alone is worth the premium price. The sunset was the best we’ve ever seen, and we live in California.

I would reach out to the company— there isn’t much space to store it on the boat and the plank to walk onto the boat is quite narrow.
