We went to Santorini for a day because our cruise was going to be there for a day. Our guide was Vasilis for that day and he was absolutely amazing!!! He took us to everything we wanted to see and had great knowledge of everything. We would love to book him again this coming year when we take our kids.

My fiancé and I had an incredible time in Santorini. George is a fantastic tour guide! We were a bit delayed off our cruise ship tender, George assured us it was no problem and was patiently waiting for us at the top of the cable car station. He then took us to the most beautiful sights Santorini had to offer. He helped make our limited time on the island special, and was a great camera man as well! He even sent use pictures of the places we didn't have time to see. We can't thank George enough and can't wait to visit again!

This was our favorite part of our entire trip! The views were breathtaking! We took lots of photos! And our tour guide, Vasilis, was great!! He was kind, informative, passionate about his work and made us laugh too! He picked us up from the airport on time and dropped us off at the airport on time. He scheduled everything on our agenda in a timely manner, took us to the most amazing places in Santorini and was kind enough to take photos of me and my mom. This trip was a birthday gift for my mom and Vasilis showed us an amazing time!

We took the 8-hour tour with George, opting for 08:00 pick-up. I can’t say enough about George as a guide. He was pleasant, amusing and knowledgeable. He took us to the best spots for pictures, places we would have never found on our own. We wanted to see Oia, but not at sunset, so he took us there first and the streets were all but deserted. It was wonderful! He would drop us at locations and then park, meeting us a few minutes later to guide us through the location. This meant that the van was close when it was time to go and we didn’t waste time or steps backtracking to some parking lot. We loved the restaurant he recommended at the Black Sand Beach, a beautiful place with great food. We saw and experienced Santorini in a way we never would have on our own, and certainly not on a big bus tour. Choosing the private tour meant that we saw and did only what we wanted to do, and how long we spent at any location was entirely up to us. Santorini was the last stop of a 4-week trip. This was the best experience of the trip and the best tour we’ve taken anywhere in the world to date.

We made the best choice of getting the tailor-made day tour because we were able to go to so many places all in one day in a comfortable air-conditioned Mercedes van, which we wouldn’t have been able to if we did it ourselves or with a group. We were picked up at our hotel, went to Fira 3 Bells, Megalochori town and cavehouse, Akrotiri lighthouse and archaeological site, Red Beach, Black Beach where we had delicious lunch at 41, Profitis Ilias Monastery and lastly to Santo Wines in Pyrgos for a little wine tasting. We loved his food and wine recommendations like Santorini salad and Assyrtiko wine. He took us to instagrammable spots and took our photos too. He communicated clearly our schedule and where he would pick us up each time. We were dropped off just in time to freshen up and watch the sunset in our private pool in Oia. We saw him again the next day while we were out exploring Oia town and him with another tourists and he greeted us cheerfuly. Thank you Thanos!!!

Special thanks to Thanos, our private tour guide, who made our one-day tour in Santorini truly unforgettable. This tour lasted about 4 hours. Thanos took us to all the picturesque spots and even became our photographer. We visited Oia Village, the famous Blue Dome, Megalochori (with its underground cave), and Pyrgos Kallistis—the highest point of Santorini—to watch the amazing sunset. I highly recommend joining this private tour! You can customize what you want to see without having to compromise with other tour members. We arrived on the Windstar Legend going ashore at 8 am. We took the cable car and met our guide Banos at 9 am. He was there waiting for us. What a day, we saw what we wanted to see with no rush. Banos took lots of excellent pictures of us, which we really appreciated. This is the way to go when you only have one day. We were extremely happy with our day in Santorini and will recommend! We planned a one day tour to Santorini from Athens. We came by the morning flight and returned by the last flight in the evening. Our guide Panagiota Fantopoulou was absolutely amazing. She went out of her way to make sure that we were comfortable and that we covered all the important landmarks of Santorini in the 8 hour trip.
