An incredible surprising experience! What an asset to the tablelands and a must see for every visitor to the area. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. A couple of hours are needed to immerse yourself completely in the natural wonders and jaw dropping crystals from all around the world. What an amazing man, René is and lasting legacy.

This was an interesting tour that displayed a wide range of crystals and stones. Some of the displays you could handle the specimens. The cracking a geode (extra cost) was great fun for the kids and interesting to see the contents for the first time. The staff were also helpful.

Fantastic place to visit, we went on the self-guided tour with the additional cost to crack our own geodes to keep. The self-guided tour was deceptively large and was fascinating to wander through the man-made caves and look at the numerous minerals and crystals strewn throughout. The geode cracking was exceptionally good fun and quite addictive to crack open a rock and see the crystals inside! Definitely worth a visit!

The self guided tour of "cave" very over priced. Brochure makes the cave look better than it is. The shop itself is great. Crack your own geode is ok. Should have skipped th cave and just cracked the geode.

What a shame you did not enjoy the self guided tour. Considering it is a very unusual museum, it is indeed difficult to promote, but rest assured that any photos in the brochure were definitely taken in the museum. I am pleased that we redeemed ourselves with the crack a geode experience.

I couldn't believe it was dog friendly. The kids and I had a very enjoyable time walking through with our pup. My 5 year old was absolutely enthralled. Service was great from all the staff we encountered.

It's crazy isn't it, taking your dog through the museum. Rene is a keen dog lover himself, he wouldn't have it any other way

This has the potential to be tacky, but I was surprised at how great this museum and shop were!
The 'caves' were so well done and my 4 year old was enthralled, and ran from item to item with much excitement. Even us adults were amazed by the exhibit.
At the conclusion he cracked his own geode, which he loved. We also purchased a few other items from the shop.
Definitely worth a visit if you're nearby.

Sometimes when we are in our storeroom at the back we hear the excitement in the kids voices, it is very rewarding. So glad we were able to exceed your expectations

On a self drive trip to the Atherton tablelands, during our visit to NQ, we saw the pamphlet for the Crystal Caves at another stop. Very spontaneously, we decided to stop here for a short visit, as our son currently is very interested in gem stones. Several hours later, we left with big smiles all round and hands full of new gems. We were all pleasantly surprised at how amazing this collection is, as seen on the tour, with great value for money. Definitely recommend cracking your own geode. Gems to take home very reasonable priced. Staff very helpful and friendly. We will definitely make a return visit sometime!

Our visit to Crystal Caves exceeded our expectations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The crystals were amazing. The caves are beautifully presented and you are able to touch the pieces. We spent far longer than planned in the caves and shop.
