The early outback life was hard for those on the land. The impact that aviation had on this hard life is well demonstrated through the displays at the Qantas Founders Museum. In visiting the Museum we found that each of us enjoyed various aspects. My partner enjoyed the

Thank you for your review and we are glad you got to enjoy our freshly made scones....they are delicious. Thank you for your suggestion about expanding our library, we will speak to our Curator. It was wonderful to hear you both enjoyed different aspects of our Museum. This museum was well laid out, modern and the information was presented in various genres which made it excellent for all ages. We did the hanger tour and cadet tour. Both members of staff were passionate and extremely well informed. Well worth a visit.

Thank you for your review SuperDuperCoach. We really appreciate you visiting our Museum. We do apologise you were not able to access our Boeing 707 and 747. We are currently building a roof over our aircraft to protect them from the sun and provide some cover for our aircraft tours. This project is one of several projects underway in preparation for the celebration of the Qantas Centenary in 2020. We hope you enjoy the rest of your time in Outback Queensland.
