      A taste of Barossa
Laurie picked us up from the Stamford and off we went to the Barossa. Our first stop was Grant Burge followed by Angaston then Provenance and finally Maggie Beer. Laurie was on time and knowledgeable and we were so fortunate to have him as our driver and guide. This was a wonderful day trip and a way to see the Barossa Valley in a day, although we only scratched the surface. I will be back in the future and possibly stay in the area. I would highly recommend this tour.

      Awesome Experience
This was a great experience in the end however I would suggest when bookings are made, a copy of the wineries are sent out so people can plan their day.

Very good value with great guides
Great service with a fantastic guide. I used trail hopper for the first time as a solo traveller and it was perfect as it allowed me to choose my own stops with enough time at each one. I had Kyle as my guide for the day and he was very helpful in advising which stops were good and even booked some tastings for me along the way. Highly recommend and will certainly use them in the future

      Fun, enjoyable days out !
We did Mclaurenvale South and Barossa Valley with trail hopper over two days ! From choosing vineyards to explore the days felt relaxed and we really loved the wineries we went to and sampled great food, wines, cider and gin throughout the day - a mix of all the things we like ! Our guides were amazing and if we had any questions or trouble choosing stops they were there to help ! The best hop on hop off winery tour I have been on personally and will be using these guys again for sure. We had so much fun and lots of laughs were had during the day ! It was a great way to experience these two wine regions and I cannot recommend these guys more !! We felt relaxed even with time limits at the places we visited it still gives you plenty of time to enjoy the places you choose. Thanks for two awesome and memorable days !

Perfect way to enjoy the wineries
From pickup to drop off the full day tour was well run and enjoyable. Everything had been thought of, so it was sit back, chat, admire the scenery and look forward to the next winery. Yvette was welcoming and helpful. We chose the prepaid and booked option so visited 4 wineries, 1 of which included lunch. Only suggestion I could think of would be the option of tea/coffee at the last stop off. Look forward to exploring other winery areas with this company.

We used Trail Hopper to visit the Adelaide Hills wineries, and chose the option of the pre-selected stops. This took all the fuss out of it and we could just hop on the bus. Great value, easy and informative. Will definitely book again when visiting Adelaide again to visit another wine region

      Great tour
We had a wonderful day on our Maclaren Vale trip. We let them pick the wineries, and they did not disappoint. The driver was great and always on time. He shared a lot of information about the area. We would definitely take another trip next time we are in Adelaide.

Fun day in McLaren Vale South without a car
This is my 5th time now with Trail Hopper! My friends and I was part of the the Saturday 6 April tour in McLaren Vale South which was lead by our friendly and knowledgable drive Nathan (Nate). Nate was easy going and shared great personal insights about the region which was interesting and helped to enhance our experience on the tour. The tour ran right on schedule which was great. We visited 4 cellar doors on this new route and enjoyed the wines, particularly the Grapple wine/cider from Oxenberry and wonderful service at Hastwell & Lightfoot. Overwall, the cellar doors we visited were peaceful and not too overly croweded - great for insta photo opportunities. Looking forward to join Trail Hopper again soon.

It must be said that we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 wine tours on Feb 29 and Mar 1, 2020. My wife and I are here visiting from Nova Scotia, Canada. Being in Adelaide for only a few days, we figured some wine tasting was in order and the description of the TrailHopper package seemed to provide the flexility that we wanted. The only difficult part of the tours was deciding on the particularly wineries we would visit. We did the McLaren Vale tour on Saturday and Barossa Valley on Sunday.
All of the wineries were excellent but we will give special mention to SC Pannell and Mollydooker Wineries in McLaren Valley and in the Barossa Valley Rusden wines. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. At Lambert Estate we met and spoke with the owners who were very engaging and w had a lovely cheese/charcuterie board with a couple glasses of wine.
But of equal importance were our wine guides/bus operators. Theresa guided us in McLaren Value while Nathan shepherded us around the Barossa Valley. These people know their way around, offered good background on the history of the regions and their wineries and most of all were just excellent, friendly and helpful people. They made our tours memorable and we are only upset at ourselves that we did not have more time to do another tour to Adelaide Hills.
Our next trip to Australia will see us in Adelaide for a more extended period and likely, a few more wine tours with TrailHopper.
    Thanks

Had a fantastic day touring McLaren Vale with Yvette. She was knowledgable on the history of Adelaide as well as all of the wineries available on the tour. She was extremely organised and couldn’t have been more welcoming on the tour. The tour was great as your could chose any winery on the list and create your own day out. There’s room for choosing 4 wineries at an hour each on the tour or less if you chose a 2 hour slot at a winery. The bus also picks you up from a central location in the city, has air conditioning and water available. The bus also securely stores your purchases until the end of the tour.
    Highly recommend this tour.

Yesterday we joined the tour to McLaren Vale and were so glad we did. My wife and I had a great day. We spent 2 hours at d'Arenberg tasting wine, eating at poppies, and viewing the Salvador Dali exhibition. This was followed by a tasting at Coriole and then final stop Chapel Hill for an icon tasting paired with cheeses.
We could not have asked for more. Our driver was friendly and informative, the other people on the tour were fun and interesting and the wine was excellent.
Thanks Trailblazer. We will do this again on our next visit to Adelaide.

My friends and I used Trailhopper tours to visit McLaren Vale and Barossa wineries. Could not have been easier!!! Highlights were having Nathan as our tour guide- knowledgeable, passionate, accomodating and funny! The flexibility of this tour is what sets it apart. You can choose which wineries you want to visit and how long you want to spend at each. Every pickup was on time which ensured we could maximise our drinking/eating time! Can’t wait to come back to Adelaide for another tour!

I enjoyed my experience in McLaren Vale North as a solo traveller. Yvette was a fantastic driver who had excellent knowledge of the area. She went above and beyond by making sure we had bookings, getting us around in good time, and even providing recommendations on places to go and see around Adelaide for the rest of my itinerary.
The tour was well done. It’s organized town to the timetable and they provide lanyards to indicate to the wineries that you are under a time crunch. They do their best to get you in and out!
Thank you for showing me McLaren Vale. It was a fun trip with a few bottles to commemorate.

This is the second time we have used Trailhoppers for a day of wining and dining and once again it proved to be a fabulous experience. The drivers and staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They will do whatever they can to make your day in the vineyards one to remember. The bus always arrives on time and you aren’t made to feel rushed.
Thank you all again for an amazing day in the McLaren Vale!

Yvette was our driver and was an amazing tour guide! She was so lovely and attentive, made sure everyone knew where they were going, explained some interesting details along the way and informed us about some brief history pertaining to some of the wineries we are visiting.
She also handled a conflicting situation beautifully with such grace. There was a couple that was quite rude to her on our trip just because they asserted not to have received any calls or contact from Trail Hopper despite them booking this a few weeks ago, and "had no idea where to go" for the wineries. Yvette was really patient with them and explained the wineries they could visit and even provided them with the list of wineries (which everyone would have already received anyway or were on the website!). Clearly their own problem for not reaching out if they had questions prior to the bus tour but Yvette handled the situation really well with such patience, grace and politeness. Kudos to Yvette!!
