Meet your guide at your central Edinburgh hotel or on arrival at Edinburgh cruise port. Jump aboard the minivan with the rest of your group. Soak up the scenery as you wind north into the Scottish Highlands, passing Perth and Dunkeld, en-route to Edradour Distillery. Arrive at Edradour, where you’ll have time to take a tour of the Scotch whisky distillery (extra cost) and sample some of its renowned single malt whisky.
Continue to Pitlochry, a picturesque highland town perched on the banks of the River Tummel. Here, you’ll have free time to browse the shops, stroll along the waterfront and pause for lunch (own expense) at one of the traditional pubs or cafés.
After lunch, climb north to the day’s star attraction – the Queen’s View, a famous lookout point, where you will take in the spectacular panoramic view over Loch Tummel, one of the most beautiful lakes of the Highlands.
Take pleasure in a pleasant walk under Douglas firs on the Hermitage Woodland Walk, wandering past Ossian's Folly and taking in views of Black Linn Falls.
Heading back to Edinburgh, your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel or cruise port.
