    What to Expect
Meet your guide at your central Edinburgh hotel and admire magnificent views across the Firth of Forth as you drive north to Fife. Keep a look out for the UNESCO-listed Forth Bridge as you cross the Forth Road Bridge, then soak up the scenery as you wind through the countryside.

Enjoy a visit to Kingsbarns Distillery, where you’ll learn all about Scotland’s famous whisky as you peek behind the scenes. After the tour, sample a dram of fine Scotch single-malt whisky, or for those who don’t drink, enjoy a coffee in the distillery’s coffee shop instead, looking out over the North Sea coast.

Arrive in St Andrews around midday and enjoy free time to explore the city independently or break for lunch (own expense) at one of the many cafés and pubs. Perhaps admire the ruins of St Andrews Castle, climb the tower of St Andrews Cathedral for a view along the coast, or stroll past St Andrews University, where Prince William met his now-wife the Duchess of Cambridge. If you’re looking to buy some edible souvenirs, the Old Cheese Shop and the Chocolate Shop are both just across the road from the drop-off point.

Meet back up with your guide to discover St Andrews’ real claim to fame – as the home of golf. Set out on a guided walking tour of the St Andrews Old Course, famously the world’s oldest golf course, where you’ll walk in the footsteps of golfing legends like Bobby Jones, Tiger Woods and John Daly. Be sure to pose for a photo by the infamous Swilcan Bridge and Hell’s Bunker, then use your free time to visit the British Golf Museum or pick up some golf-themed souvenirs.

Then it’s time to head back to the bus, where bottled water and Scottish Shortbread will be waiting for you. Relax during the drive back to Edinburgh, where your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.
