Nature is beatiful
Aug 2019
While visiting the Portland, Oregon area, we were told we must make the short drive east to see these falls. Driving along the Columbia River was pretty enough, but the Falls were definitely worth the trip. They were literally just off I84. There was ample parking and the falls were just a short walk from the parking lot. We hike up the trail a bit and went beyond the bridge spanning in front of the falls for a variety of views and photo opportunities. We happened to be there late in the day and the golden sun lit up the area in spectacular light! There is a nice gift shop on site, as well as a restaurant, but we did not eat there. As a bonus, driving back to Portland, we got to enjoy a gorgeous sunset over the Columbia River. Worth the trip!

Wonderful afternoon, fantastic guide!
I missed my first tour as I got a bit lost but when I contacted the tour operator they were kind enough to let me go the following day and I am so glad I did. We had a perfect afternoon with bright blue sky and fresh snow allowing us to see Mt Hood as we travelled towards Mutnomah Falls. Steve our tour guide was a really interesting guy, I could happily listen to his knowledge on the history of the area for hours! The waterfalls were overwhelmingly beautiful and our little group were given lots of time for photographs while Steve gave us some interesting facts, even pointing out types of flowers and nature.
I didn't want it to end but what a way to finish up at the viewpoint (can't remember the name!!)with a little giftshop.
The highlight of my trip to Portland, thank you Steve!!

A Perfect trip to see some highlights of Oregon

Great guide, everything on time, a trip to show some of Oregon's greatest miracles of nature. I can highly recommend this option for those tourists who have little free time in Oregon and what to see something really marvellous.

Let them do the driving
Oct 2019
Perfect way to see the falls and Columbia river. Let a professional drive and describe while you enjoy the beauty. No way would I attempt to travel the back roads and navigate the crowded parking areas. Our leader was polite, knowledgeable and very familiar with the area. I strongly recommend this method of viewing the magnificent falls! You can not avoid all the people, but you can avoid the stress of driving.

Wonderful trip
Sep 2019
Even though the tour started a little sprinkly, it cleared up nicely and we stopped at 3 different beautiful waterfalls (Multnomah Falls and 2 others) and had the opportunity to spend a little time at each. We also saw several others from out tour vehicle. The guide was knowledgeable and my wife and I thought the tour was well worth it!

Simply Spectacular
Just a short walk off The Columbia Historic Highway, or look for Exit #38 off Route 80, go to the Multnomah Falls sign and proceed to a very spectacular Falls that is over 500 feet in height with a secondary Falls that adds an additional 70’; just spectacular; you will not be disappointed. It is late in the season, and there was ample parking. If you are anywhere close, this is a Must-Do activity that the whole family will enjoy and appreciate.
