      Wonderful experience!!
Tour encompassed all the sites in the Black Hills we really wanted to see. Our driver/guide Ken gave us lots of history as well as entertaining stories about all the sites. It was great to leave the driving to someone else and just experience the beauty around us. Afterwards, back at the Fort, we had dinner and then enjoyed a wonderful musical performance by some very talented musicians. It was money well spent!

      Black Hills Tour
I booked the tour because my husband does the driving and I thought he would enjoy being a passenger for the day. The meals were delicious. The weather was gorgeous. It was a full day of sight seeing. The bus driver was entertaining. We got a bit annoyed with the jokes by the end of tour. I would recommend the tour for people over 55.

      Mt. Rushmore and Black hills
The trip was amazing! The bus driver was very knowledgeable about the area. He was very funny and friendly. The cowboy breakfast was delicious! The sites we saw and the drives were beautiful! Well worth the price and the time. The dinner and musical show were very good. I would also recommend checking if Mount Rushmore is doing the light show at night. Well worth the trip at night.

      Very enjoyable!!
Breakfast was okay. Our tour guide, Bill, is THE BEST!! He is very entertaining, knowledgeable and a man of great faith and has a great singing voice. All the individual stops allowed enough time to enjoy. He made photo stops along the way and even gave a lot of suggestions on how to take the best photo as well as offered to take a photo with your whole group in it. Going the Needles Highway is an interesting ride with many switchbacks, higher elevation and tunnels. At the Needles Eye Tunnel he put on quite the performance not only to his riders but to others at the opposite end of the tunnel by pretending to get stuck in the tunnel. Hilariously entertaining!!! Hats off to Bill!!!! The dinner was very tasty and filling and the show was surprisingly really, really good! The Rockin Wranglers played a variety of music and the musicians are very interactive with the audience, and their musical and acting abilities were so much fun and entertaining! All the guys are funny and yet take their music seriously. It was a knee slapping great show!! The fiddlin female was awesome!!! Kiddos to the entire ‘family’ for their talent and heartfelt welcome you showed us!!! You are a western class act!!!

Seeing and sharing america with Joe.
This was a great guided tour. We visited everywhere the tour said it was going. The breakfast included your choice of pancakes or biscuits and gravy. Sausages or bacon. Coffee and juices. Joe did a great job showing us the great sites of South Dakota. He has an incredible talent driving the bus through VERY narrow tunnels and roads. His stories are fun, and he made the day even more fun. In the end, there was a big dinner and a show. The options were sliced beef or roasted chicken, baked potato, apple sauce, and baked beans. The show was fun. Lots of great music. We really enjoyed the entire experience.

Food very disappointing. Driver went off the road and men on the bus had to get the bus out of deep ditch.
Breakfast terrible. Driver backed bus off road. Occupants had to get it back on the road as driver did not call for another bus right away. Dinner seating terrible. Left before dinner and show.

      Take the tour!
Great tour! Long but the tour guide/bus driver was amazing. Funny, informative, great driver. Bill is the best. Mt. Rushmore is a must see but winding thru the black hills and seeing so much of this great state was breathtaking.

      A Bargain of a Tour.
The views were amazing. I have no idea about the places we went to but we were surprised and so glad that we booked this tour as this was very educating and entertaining at the same time. Our bus driver "Joe" was very educated and funny and entertaining at the same time. Never a dull moment. The money that we paid for is so worth it and actually is a bargain considering the experience that you will get from this tour. Highly recommended!!

      Best bus tour ever
This was the best tour ever!!! Billy the driver was very knowledgeable of the area. Best driver!!! Was nice to sit back and let him handle the road. Went thru 3 very tight tunnels with no problem. The breakfast was great, biscuits and gravy and sausage. They had pancakes too. The supper was awesome too, had the chicken( so tender), baked potato, beans and applesauce. And a piece of cake. Sit at picnic tables to eat( little tight), the show was incredible, clapping , audience singing, saw Elvis, Elton John. Great song selections!!!Fantastic all the way around!!! Worth the money, would do it again!!!!

One of the best tours I’ve been on. Never a dull moment. Our tour guide Bill was very funny but also very informative. There are very narrow tunnels that he expertly drove through, but had a lot of fun tricking onlookers that the bus wouldn’t fit. You get to see pretty much everything in the Black Hills, with Mt. Rushmore being the first.

My husband and I took this tour of Mount Rushmore, the Black Hills, Custer State Park, The Needles Highway, the Iron Mountain Highway and the Crazy Horse monument. We had the breakfast in the morning, then the bus drive through all the sites listed, with lunch at a lodge, then back to Fort Hays for a chuckwagon-style supper and music show!! We enjoyed all of the tour! Our bus driver/tour guide was Bill Martin and he was GREAT!! He made everything very fun along the way!! The breakfast was ok. The supper was good food, not as warm as I like, except for the baked potato which was hot. The spice cake was dry with no icing, just powdered sugar. The country-style music show after the meal was very entertaining!

This tour was amazing! It is a long day but you get to see so many things! The driver was really funny and drove really well, there are some really tricky and tight tunnels that he had to go through and it was crazy that he got through them! There was two things that I didn't like. The tickets said the tour started at 8 and we got there early (at 7:30, some people got there at 7), however the tour started at 9. It would have been nice if it said the tour starts at 9 but come early to spend time at the attraction before leaving so we could have gotten there at 8 or even a bit later. The other issue I had was where we stopped for lunch. We were told we could order off a menu or have the buffet but there was no menu to order off of and I didn't like any of the main foods on the buffet. So I paid for the full buffet and only had some fruit and bread. There were places to use the restroom at every stop we made so that was nice. Overall it was a really great day!

A great tour! Definitely worth the time and money. Our tour driver was wonderful and told us a lot about the local history and things to do, along with keeping us entertained during the trip with jokes and helpful tips at the locations on what to do and how long it usually takes (thank you Gary!) Best part is the Needles tour part, and if you go be sure to get the tshirt at the gift shop. If you go early you can get cowboy pancakes all you can eat $0.99 next door

This bus tour is the best way to see the specific sites and also the small towns surrounding the area. Pick up tickets 730-800 AM tour leaves at 850 AM. There are 32 seats on the bus so good size but not too large a group.
They will load the bus in the order in which they received your reservation online. I was traveling solo and was paired up with another solo traveler and worked out great.
Billy was our driver, travel guide and kept us informed and entertained throughout the day. He not only told us where we were visiting, as we were passing through towns, he also gave us some info which may help you decide to go back and visit for dinner or stay over at a hotel.
There was plenty of time at each stop including lunch. We were dropped off right in front of each stop which takes the guesswork out of having to plan yourself.
The tour delivered as described and more as Billy stopped in specific favorite areas for photo ops as well. Billy was courteous, professional and entertaining. Let someone else do the driving and navigation and this is the way to do it.

This was a fantastic tour. It was worth every penny. Chris, our driver was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and knew shared many details about the area and it’s history as well as local goings on. He had us in stitches much of the time and was an excellent driver along the sometimes challenging Black Hill’s route. Chris, you are an valuable asset to the company and without a doubt its number ONE DRIVER! 😊

I was planning on driving to the separate attractions, Glad I took this tour. They took us to each destination and I could see the attractions instead of driving. The breakfast, tour, dinner and dinner show was Well Worth the Money. Fort Hayes has a new ride which my 14 year old and I truly enjoyed, a roller coaster and shooting at buffalo ride to see who was a better shooter.

My family did this tour along with breakfast and dinner with show back in 1999. We had a blast back then.My kids still talk about how much fun they had. My husband and I decided to take the tour along with meals and show again. This was the best tour! Breakfast was great. Our tour was so much fun. We want to send Dan a huge THANK YOU for being so much fun! He not only told stories and cracked jokes, but he made sure we were able to get great pictures. Dan you are the best! And the buffet was good, unlike what others had written. Our food was delicious. The dinner and show were so much fun. And Dan was part of the entertainment. You all did a wonderful job! We have great pictures, stories and memories to share!

We had an amazing day today beginning with our tour and ending with the Chuckwagon show. Our tour guide, Ken Updike, could not have been any better. His stories were entertaining and plentiful, he gave suggestions for each stop, and he was definitely a top notch driver. I can totally see where he needs to be promoted to the number 1 driver spot! The tour was so informative and hit the top attractions. It was well worth it. Our 14 and 16 year old daughters enjoyed it too! The Chuckwagon dinner and show were the perfect ending to a great day. The meat, potatoes, and biscuits were tasty. The rest of the dinner didn’t impress us much. The band was very talented and entertaining. The audience participated in the songs that were incredibly varied, as far as the era they were from. I was hoping they would include Garth, Taylor Swift, or other musicians that would be more familiar and appealing to our teens…. But they still had fun and the opportunity for many sing alongs.

I was part of a large group that had 2 buses for four days. We were out early and back late building a playground for the Oglala Lakota Tribe in Pine Ridge, S D. Two hour ride one way. On our fourth day, we did some sightseeing. Our driver,Chris, was an excellent driver. I never felt uncomfortable with him at the wheel. Chris was gracious, knowledgeable, entertaining and funny. I highly recommend this tour bus company. I also recommend eating at the Fort Hays Chuckwagon Dinner & Show. It was a great way to end a fun day of touring.
